Abe, Thank You very much! The Problem is completly solved with the 1.2 update version! 🙂 Also, there was a problem with the dailymotion videos not being correctly visualised in the player, also solved with the 1.2 update, maybe it was the iframe fixes that you mentioned in the changelog of the 1.2 version.
Thank You Very Much for the Outstanding Support! So far, so good!
JonaroParticipantWhat about the Visual Composer? It is notifying me that there is a 4.0.1 version available, but when I try to update the plugin automatically in WordPress, it gives me the following error:
“An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: Update package not available.”
JonaroParticipantThank You for your attention! By the way, great update 1.2! Visually outstanding! Becoming better in every update! Excelent Work! Thank You for Your Talent and Dedication!
JonaroParticipantAbe, I already identift the problem, I think is not a problem with your Theme but rather with Gravity Forms itself, a conflict with a conditional logic field that I have.
But…
Your theme is conflicting with the ” Enable enhanced user interface ” function of Gravity Forms, it is a JQuery Function for Drop Down Select Fields. How can I disable the drop down of your themes just for the gravity forms?
Thank You!
JonaroParticipantYou are not using/defining any image for thumbnail. Maybe you are doing something wrong when selecting the image as thumbnail? Your current HTML code in the thumbnails is this:
COPY CODE<img src="" /></img>
JonaroParticipantIf you cant upadte the Theme via WordPress Updates Panel, you have to manually upload it via FTP Programs like filezilla, dreamweaver, ultraedit, whatever program you are using with FTP upload and update capabilities.
The Plugins are different. You can upload it via FTP also, like stated in the documentation of this Theme. Or you can install the Plugins automatically via the Plugins Section of WordPress. Just delete the plugins and then the WordPress will issue a warning at the top saying that the Theme requires the Plugins to be installed and will give you a button to install it automatically.
For the Post Grid feature to work, you have to go to “Settings – Reading – A static page (select below)” And define/choose the “Posts page” as: Blog
JonaroParticipantThank you Abe for the K-elements update warning. And I also notice that you are using a new version of the Revolution Slider, the 4.2, and in the first release of your Theme, you used the Revolution Slider 4.1.4.
I deleted the Revolution Slider from the Plugins section in WordPress, and then the WordPress warned me at the Top about the missing plugin required for the Theme, and I clicked in the Install button, and everything went OK, new version updated 4.2!
Why is that some plugins are automatically checked for updates and notifies us in the WordPress panel, and some don’t?
JonaroParticipantHey Kieran, Thank You!
I’m using the BuddyPress Security Check:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-security-check/But, as I read, it is very insecure and easily bypassed by inteligent bots and scripts.
I will try the reCaptcha.
As for the WangGuard, it appears to be very complex and I’m affraid to conflict with other Plugins, i don’t know. I will try it to see…JonaroParticipantAre you sure you enter the Envato API Key? Try to force the Update Check in WordPress, in the Update Section. Where do you get you API Key From? Do you get it from here?
http://themeforest.net/user/your-user-name/api_keys/edit
(you must replace your-user-name to your envato username in order to acess that page)
You can always download again the package, it will be the updated version download, and update the theme manually, like the documentation says:
If you wish to upgrade via FTP, you can do the following:
Open your FTP client and connect to your server.
Locate the theme in the themes directory e.g. ‘/wp-content/themes/kleo‘
Make a backup if needed by downloading the current version of the Theme to your computer.
Upload the new kleo folder to the exact same directory, overwriting the existing files.
When completed, the new version will be active.JonaroParticipantRoger, it’s in the manual:
To easily update the theme using Envato update plugin you must go to WP-admin -> Theme options -> Theme update and enter your Envato username and API Key. After you have saved the settings you will receive updates automatically.
JonaroParticipantYou have to change the way your WordPress installation sends E-Mails! In order to achieve this, try this Plugin to configurate the SMTP Settings of your WordPress installtion where you are using the Theme.
Configure SMTP – WordPress Plugin
http://wordpress.org/plugins/configure-smtp/Your WordPress needs SMTP Configurations just like any E-Mail Client, for example Outlook express or Thunderbird, You need to tell WordPress what are the SMTP Settings he needs in order to send E-Mails.
If you don’t configure the SMTP Settings, the WordPress will use your hosting default settings for sending e-mail and some e-mail services like hotmail can block those e-mails.
Hope this helps everyone with this problem, any doubt, fell free to ask here, if the author of this teme authorize, I will try to help you.
JonaroParticipantVery strange. No problems whatsoever in here, even in different browsers. 1GB of memory usage is completly anormal behaviour! And are symptoms of malware in the devices you are using to test it. Are you sure the environments are free of malicious software? Do you check the browser extras, are you using extras, do you test the theme with extras deactivated? Do you have any other plugins installed, except the ones that the theme is prepared?
JonaroParticipantAlready available the version 1.1 Thank you very much for the quick response! Great Service! So far, so good! Recommended!
