Hello, you could deactivate woocommerce if you are not going to have a shop, if you will, then you need to update the theme

For the redirection, it could be a restriction you have setup at theme options, make sure you dont have the members page restricted to only paid memberships pro members, that would be the reason

Hello, the child theme should be the one activated, its actually the same, its empty and works to store changes, if you change things at the main theme, they will be lost in an update, that is why child theme is the one that should be activated and used for changes
