mbfitParticipant
can those pages be access either in the Appearance>Edit dashboard or the site host files?
mbfitParticipantHi Radu
yes that step was done from initial setup, I remember but I double checked.I was referring to posts/theblogs created, example when clicking into ‘continue reading’:
https://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp/image-post-format/
https://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp/simple-images-used-on-media-block/
etc..
mbfitParticipantNevermind, it seems a plugin did this that I had to update and it broke that page. Very disconcerting that an update forces and breaks the site.
mbfitParticipantI noticed the links are there and that the blue background is invisible and the main text for the site is too high up on the page.
mbfitParticipantThanks Laura I will look into that!

April 16, 2018 at 22:01 in reply to: Blog Posts – Fonts one main page and Set Featured Image #195054mbfitParticipantHi I noticed this wasn’t main Blog page specific it had changed the font size site wide however
April 16, 2018 at 21:17 in reply to: Blog Posts – Fonts one main page and Set Featured Image #195046mbfitParticipantYes code is perfect thank you!
April 16, 2018 at 21:10 in reply to: Blog Posts – Fonts one main page and Set Featured Image #195044mbfitParticipantOk I will use that code thanks! As far as the images I decided to figure out the dimensions of that page and alter the images that will be used to fit accordingly or set the image behind a white background to have it centered etc. Thanks I will close thread.
mbfitParticipantSidebar doesn’t work in the Dashboard>Posts for Blogs either. So if one where to use say media.net for ads which adds a widget, it seems to not create that option. I’ve tested with the current widgets I’n using now, about us, who’s online, etc.
mbfitParticipantSince the 2.0 update the emails have all been text format, not like the above example image I attached which I launched to view in Dashboard>Emails. The site has been worked on for months without plugins activated and I’ve never received an email with that format since.
mbfitParticipantThanks for the link, the more I know the better, though that didn’t discuss side bars.
Ok that’s fine how about the original issue?
mbfitParticipantHi I have removed all plugins aside from those that are required by the theme, please also note that this was ongoing before we added anything to the child theme. I just had other issues to attend to before being able to get to this.
Also for Side Bars under Dashboard>Emails:
“Please select the sidebar you would like to display on this page. Note: You must first create the sidebar under Appearance > Sidebars.”
I created a sidebar to use and selected it in the drop down menu and it doesn’t work either. None of the selections work.
mbfitParticipantThank you Kieran, I think the 404 was an issue on my end with some other fixes we tried.
mbfitParticipantI’m going to open this back up because not only is it still not working, it has made worse issues. I am logged in as Admin and as 2 users on 3 different platforms. As an Admin if I select any privacy change it effects ALL other Users on the site. So if I select Visible to only to User, every profile is switched to the same.
Worse as a User I have selected Visible only to User setting and now the entire database of Users redirects to a 404 I can no longer view anyone’s profile even when changing back status to Visible to Registered Users.
So after playing with this for a half hour or so and basically see it not effective in any way for me, I can no longer view Profiles unless I’m logged in as an Admin.
mbfitParticipantApologies for taking so long, I have been discussing with my host and it is addressable however beyond my means to do at the moment. It’s a little complicated.
Thank you for such detail!What does this address that wasn’t already done in your first response?
Meaning also where do I changed the options in the following:// Change sender name and email
function sq_sender_email( $original_email_address ) {
return ‘address@example.com’;
}function sq_sender_name( $original_email_from ) {
return ‘Name Here’;
}add_filter( ‘wp_mail_from’, ‘sq_sender_email’ );
add_filter( ‘wp_mail_from_name’, ‘sq_sender_name’ );mbfitParticipantOk I found one area to change in case anyone else comes across this:
With Paidpro plugin installed:Under Memberships>Email Settings you have From Email: From Name:

Are there quick fixes via code with this to hide or change:
“wordpress@thelove4life.com” (wordpress@: pof uses “donotrespond@”)
“via server.bluehost.me” (this was a temp site name until I moved name to love4life)
“mailed-by: server.bluehost.me” (same above)
“important according to our magic sauce” (Remove)I would be fine with mailed/via if it had the correct site info, and have wordpress removed from there.
Should I contact my host provider in that regard as well?
Any advice would be great thanks.

I believe this is the route I will go with these issues if it is an option.
mbfitParticipantHi Kieran, Privacy.png screenshot is what I was referring to. It didn’t seem to work for me however I have other pressing issues and will try again later. I will close the thread, and thanks for the details!
mbfitParticipantHello Laura, thanks. While that is the correct form register I was hoping for, there are still issues on the home page. The sign up form doesn’t work, Can’t click in fields, drop down links do not work either on the main links, and top nav bar disappears on the scroll.
Before there was an option to hide all forms on the home page once registered. I can’t find this option on Elementor, only option I found was under Responsive but it removes it completely.
mbfitParticipantI should add my thoughts; you all have been exceptional with your help. I don’t wish to be a pain…
mbfitParticipantHi, there wasn’t 2 forms until I started working with the Elementor page. I had thought that was what I did by your description there and that was in regards to the Members Search page.
I used the Page that is described as -Front Page Elementor which had the site url proper.
I could not find one that has http://www.thelove4life.com/home-sweetdate-3-0/ to work with.Only ones I found were: site/a-homepage-section/ – site/home/ – site/home-2/ – site/home-3/
So I don’t know if I’m missing something here.Under Settings>Readings>Front Page> I selected the one that I was working on because it was the only one that showed up. I had titled it Welcome. There wasn’t any other option other then Blog, About Us, etc which were active Pages I had created.
I apologize for all the posts and realize that it can be confusing. I wish this wasn’t happening, I have spent a year learning and working with the theme already and was nearly done and content with it until the site crashed on my end and I couldn’t find the original theme version I used and now the update has me feeling I’m back at day one.
