It seems that I’ve got a wider screen myself. That is why.
But, anyway this is not the kind of solution I was expecting. It is more the one posted here:

Anyway, I asked directly in that specific thread if they can assist me with the solution they found.
And just for you letting know, the map wasn’t displaying because of the code added in the functions.php file, as indicated in that specific post.

Actually, the post type is available trough the composer, and it is displayed. What I cannot manage is to bring the “Post type name” into the post.

If I follow the linked you pointed

their are registering a taxonomy. In my case, the taxonomy has been created by the plugin. So, as far as I understand I need to tell the theme framework to recognize it.
Where do I edit the kleo_entry_meta function? I think that, with this little help I will manage.

Will you guide me a little further? As I understand, I need to insert some code in the functions.php, and some other in kleo_entry_meta.php. And then select the options in the Blog Theme options.
The classic geodirectory post-type it is called “place”. How would be the code? I don’t understand very much of coding….

This helps. But, actually, I am trying to buid a Pinterest style page, bringing different Geodirectory Custom Post Types. The builder allows me to “call” any kind of post types, but the post won’t show the category unless it is a classical blog post. Is there any way to allow Geodirectory categories?

Also, I want to know if it is possible to bring the “featured” tag from geodirector, to the different theme posts styles (performed by the visual composer). I am trying to use the kleo layouts and integrating with geodirectory.

They are definitely suggestion NOT to use a shared hosting.
Your test was fully working? With all geodirectory addons installed?

Thank you Laura for your answer. But the link you pointed is to set up Geodirectory, which I’ve read already.
My enquiry refers more to SERVER capabilities to run Geodirectory AND Buddypress together, as i understand they are both “heavy” plugins, that will require certain previsions.
Any advice will be great.

Actually, for Geodir is the “favorite” button, and collects favorites in the Members page.

Please have a look on what the GD people is saying:

this is a known problem with Kleo.

The other member already reported it to Kleo author’s. The way the handle menus makes it impossible to add any custom link using the WordPress hook dedicated to that function.

I’m sure they are working on a solution already.
