In first instance please provide a screenshot that pointing the carousel that you talking about and how do you want to customize it ? changing font size,color etc ? be specific because these cann be done only with custom css, after we solve this we will investigate the matching problem

Do you have tried with all plugins de-activated inclusive Wp Super Cache and also child theme and it’s the same ?

If yes provide there the admin credentials to can take a closer look, maybe it will need to de-activate all plugins and child theme

If you do this operation only for have custom title for posts or for pages, you can use seo by yoast…

Please de-activate child and plugins except wp super cache, after all these, empty all caches form wp super cache
and then check your website

the problem cannot be a bug, it;s caused by child or by some plugin and you cannot see the changes because of wp super cache that has cached the entire page

Please make sure you have rtMedia plugin installed and activated : https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-media/

With this you will be able to upload additional photos from your profile in media tab

If you have it installed, check if the plugin needs to be updated from wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins -> will appear an update text under every plugin name if is any update available

Hi,

The bp-custom.php belongs to buddypress plugin, and if you update or delete the plugin the file can be deleted or not, it’s recommended to paste the snippets into functions.php file from child.

The function.php belongs to the child theme and exactly you will have all things saved there and it’s update proof.

If you have snippets in both files backup it periodically or move snippet form bp-custom to functions.php it should work, if not keep in both files.

The visual composer it’s fully functional and it can be updated only thru our theme form wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins , if this route doesn’t exist it means that you don’t need to update it.

Regarding to the notices that you see, the visual composer team has developed a strategy to get more customers and to buy direct license to be direct customer, so you can use as you want the VC it’s full functional.

Most probably you will have to update theme to latest version 4.0.8 and the rest of plugins.

You will have to update theme to 4.0.8 your current version is 4.0.5 and after most important is to update Visual Composer, K-elements and Revolution Slider from wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins, press update for these plugins.

We have two methods for update

1. Automatic theme updates:

– Go to WP admin – Theme options – Theme Update
– Enter Themeforest username and API KEY
– Save the options
– Go to WP admin – Dashboard (link should be like: /wp-admin/update-core.php) and you should see the theme there if there is a new update available
– Click the checkbox next to it and click to Update themes

2. Manually update theme by FTP.

– Connect to your server.
– Go to wp-content/themes/ and copy “kleo” folder to your computer so you have a backup of your old files.
– Extract kleo.zip that you have downloaded from Themeforest. Make sure the resulting “kleo” folder has a style.css in it. Delete on your server all files inside wp-content/themes/kleo and then copy all files inside “kleo” folder to your server in wp-content/themes/kleo

Important note : After you update the theme to latest version 4.0.8 please update the bundled plugins especially Visual Composer, K-element, Revolutions slider, Woocommerce and buddypress.

Why you don’t upload the entire languages folder from your oldsite installation /wp-content/languages to the new one in same location ?

The correct path for sweetdate theme language files is : wp-content/languages/themes/
the language files should be named like that kleo_framework-sv_SE.po and kleo_framework-sv_SE.po

If the language files not applies to the plugins, try to move plugin language files to : wp-content/plugins/PLUGINNAME/languages/

For example pmpro has this slug for the lang fiels : pmpro-sv_SE.po/mo
