    So, is the issue that the attach file button doesnt show up until you click in the box? Its always been that way. The reason they do that is because you cant attach a file until without typing an update. Look at my old 2.4.3 site. I’ll give you credentials in the next reply.

    1 – Did you try clearing your cache?
    2 / 3 – You create groups on the group directory page. Its whatever page you have setup in wp admin > settings > buddypress > pages. As an admin, you can create groups in WP Admin

    I went to your site and once you get the options sorted out, you should turn off “transparent main menu” at the site level. Only turn it on at the page level where you’ll have a image that goes under the menu. Like this: http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/pinterest/

    This is not a Kleo bug since kleo doesnt claim to work with that plugin. I’m going to move this ticket.

    The inline meta is for the standard layout and it only effects the posts listing page if WP is handling it. You’ve created a posts listing page using VC using the Kleo Posts shortcode. Edit the shortcode and set up your inline meta there. But again, its only for the standard layout, so if you dont show the layout switcher, you still wont see it.

    I’ve seen something similar happen before. Edit the “The Live Act” page and see if you forgot to close the hyperlink for the last two words “debbie’s bio”.

    Glad you got it sorted.

    You need to read up on WordPress. Its nothing like a straight html site. While we answer a lot of non-Kleo related questions here, we really dont have the time or resources to teach you how to use WP.

    With that said, I didnt mean change your site wide permalinks. I said change the permalink for that page. Its under the title. But if you didnt change the blog page, that shouldnt matter. Now, go back to Settings > Permalinks and change it to anything other than default.

    Naming a page index isnt going to do anything. WP doesnt work that way. Go to Settings > reading and set your home page and blog page there.

    Hmmm. A bug is unlikely. I have Kleo 3.0 running on 7 servers. Look for a plugin conflict.

    Okay, finally got the error. Your server is throwing 503 temporarily unavailable errors for admin-ajax.php. Its not just happening on theme options. And its why I was able to save the first few times. Its a temporary error usually caused by server overload.

    I wouldnt worry about those in terms of sorting out the update issue. They all look harmless. You can try turning on debugging and setting display to true. https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG

    Then try the update again and see what errors pop up on the screen.

    Hmm. That didnt happen on my 7 sites that I’ve upgraded. Do this, start a new topic with “upgrade failed”. This topic is already assigned to me and has so many replies. Starting a new topic will get 7th queen eyes on it and they wont have to sort through all the replies to get to the issue. Once its resolved, head back here and I’ll get you sorted.

    A common mistake is to input your Kleo licence key instead of an API key that YOU have to create in your theme forest profile.

    Sounds like you aren’t too familiar with WP. If you have the Blog page you are designing set as your blog page in WP then you shouldn’t be adding anything to it. WP uses whatever page you have set as the page to display your post as a placeholder to do all its magic. Rename that page you are working on to something else and change the permalink. Then create a new page and call it blog and save it without changing anythings else on the page. Then go to WP Admin > Settings > Reading and set your posts page to the new Blog page you created.

    What the heck file path is that? LOL

    Copy /kleo/buddypress/members/member-loop.php to /kleo-child/buddypress/members/member-loop.php, then make your edits. Try this instead though

    Now, that only handles the loop with in the /members/ context. Groups aren’t in the /members context, they are in… wait for it….. the /groups context. 🙂 That’s why you dont see it working there. Do the same above, but with the /kleo/buddypress/groups/single/members.php file.

    Hmmm. I wonder if the security plugin is causing upgrade issues. The weird thing is that when you had kleo 3.0 enabled, even the basic site colors (saved in the db) were different than you’re 2.4.3 version. In case what I’m saying doesnt make sense….

    When you save the theme options, all of that information is saved to the db, even if there is any issue writing to the custom css file. When you view the styles in theme options, it pulls those color settings from the db, not from the custom styles file.

    And they do that with all the plugins that they ‘suggest’ you use. That add on isnt one of them.

    Its dynamically created when you save Theme Options. So back to my original statement. “your theme options styles are either not being written to /uploads/custom_styles/dynamic.css or they are but your server is serving and old version of the file”

    It could be the caching, it could be the security plugin. who knows.

    Yes, that could definitely cause it. The old dynamic.css file doesnt have all of the new classes.
