You don’t need to edit home-search-form.php, you only need to define your custom fields in users/profile fields and choose from Sweetdate/Buddypress what you want to apear in your search form. Also you ned to have latest update(1.3)

1. Right now it is not taking a default value. We will see if its possible in this recent update.

2. Should be ok after the update.

3. WordPress is pretty secure. Maybe it is something from your server.
4. It accepts an image atribute, like this image=”scr_to_image”

10. Try speaking at godaddy. I can’t see why shoud be an issue with the theme

As I can see your page isn’t set to use Frontpage Template.
After you set it you can force it to have a minimum height:

For _ “about me” button in profile you should change the name of the profile field from Users -> Profile fields

Also if you change the name for “About me” field you should add this in your functions.php from your child theme:
