update: well I’ve tested it with the default 2015 theme and all plugins deactivated and still the error message! No idea why this has suddenly happened as BuddyPress wasn’t updated!
I’ll post in BP forum but would be interested if anyone esle has had this problem – or if they know how to fix it!
Cheers.5high-photohubParticipant@sharmstr – thanks that did actually work well!
But what I’m confused about is the suggested settings, as the Kleo docs say to set it to ‘use shortcode’ but then it doesn’t show at all. Does this mean I have to manually add it into every product by shortcode? And if so where do i add it for it to sit beside the ‘add to cart’ button?
I’ve also tried all the options for it’s position with these results:
1. add to cart = adds the icon and ‘add to wishlist’ text on the product title line (NOT beside the add to cart button)
2. after thumbnails = adds it on the product main image but ONLY visible when you hover almost directly over it (may be due to my color settings?)
3. after summary = adds the icon and ‘add to wishlist’ text on the product title line (partly blocking title) but again ONLY visible when you hover directly over it (I guess this must be because of some setting I have in the Theme options for the color – just not sure where it pulls it from…)Can you confirm exactly which theme colour settings it takes it’s css from, as when i check it with firebug it shows it as
.woocommerce .main-color .yith-wcwl-add-to-wishlist a:hover
– is that the main section settings then?Sorry, I’m not being very clever with this plugin, so a few pointers would be useful!
5high-photohubParticipantHi shamstr – yes, I’ve got the exact same problem – screenshots attached. If I follow the settings in your docs and set it to ‘shortcode’ then it doesn’t show at all (am I missing something here???) and if I use the setting to show wishlist ‘after add to cart’ it then shows up beside the title which obscures my londger book titles – especially on hover over the wish list test.
Would be grateful of your input on this – many thanks.

Cheers.5high-photohubParticipantps: that’s with Kleo 3.0.3. I’ll update to the next one in the next day or so.
5high-photohubParticipantHi Abe,
sorry for the delay but our i/net went down for w few days. But the login problem remains the same as before I’m afraid.
Cheers, J5high-photohubParticipantThanks – yes it was and all fixed now. Thanks for the great support we get from the Kleo team.
5high-photohubParticipant@abe – thanks for the replacement Kleo files as per July 4th – all good now 🙂
5high-photohubParticipantHi,
Just happened to me too – thank goodness I found this thread, but not until I spent many hours scrouring the i/net to see what may have happenned – especially as it was fine one moment and gone the next!I agree with Salle32 above, Kleo should email all members with advice that not to panic but they’ve found this error which is triggered in certain circumstances + the fix above. At least people are forwarned and have a quick fix. It will also save you a ton of time answereing lots of different support threads!
Thanks – I’ll test this fix out on our site later tonight and will post an update then.
5high-photohubParticipantAbe, just wondered if you’d been doing any testing on our site in the last day or so? as I now have a blank (‘white screen of death’) in our wp-admin area. The frontend looks and works OK, just no access to the wp admin end. Or do you know if there’s been an auto update of wordpress that might have triggered it?
Thought I should check the obvious before I do anything major on the site.
Thanks.5high-photohubParticipantThanks so much – why didn’t I think of that! (I’d even done that at the start before i realised I could save a custom template.)
Brilliant support – much appreciated.5high-photohubParticipantThanks sharstr – it has worked at last! Perfect! Not sure why not before, maybe a caching thing (though I do usually clear the cache on page review) or maybe I stuffed up the code somewhere…
Anyway all sorted and thanks for your patience!5high-photohubParticipantUpdate; I’ve found that Google docs does everything and much much more than Survey Monkey so will swop to this option.
Sorry to not resolve it for others but it’s just taking way too long!
Thanks anyway.5high-photohubParticipantOK, well I’ve got SM to produce the code – but ONLY when I access it via Chrome! It really doesn’t like Firefox. And I’ve managed to get the embed form to show up on a test page (once only), and again only in Chrome – de nada in Firefox.
When I can I’ll test with the default theme and let you know – just not possible at present.
Their support focuses mainly on clearing your cache etc to get it to work – all done but no change. And my latest test survey embed code doesn’t work in either browser…
This is the code for it:
<script>(function(t,e,i,n){var o,s,c;t.SMCX=t.SMCX||[],e.getElementById(n)||(o=e.getElementsByTagName(i),s=o[o.length-1],c=e.createElement(i),c.type="text/javascript",c.async=!0,c.id=n,c.src=["https:"===location.protocol?"https://":"http://","widget.surveymonkey.com/collect/website/js/6_2F8ifkijplZUC1BVpEFiBZ3B8Li5irGY2J_2Fkgk5tx4zv_2Fk0EaKdeFmk2IiU77nt7.js"].join(""),s.parentNode.insertBefore(c,s))})(window,document,"script","smcx-sdk");</script><a style="font: 12px Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #999; text-decoration: none;" href=https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/customer-satisfaction-surveys/> Create your own user feedback survey </a>
This is a bit beyond me – looks shortcode and js?
I’m also going to investigate Google forms for embedding to see if that’s better – will update here.
5high-photohubParticipantOh, maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing? When you open your image above, what controls the surrounding background overall? – where the arrows sit in the lightbox? – see attached.
I have tried tracking down this css but can’t seem to select it.Attachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.5high-photohubParticipantThanks sharmstr – I have a feeling the problem is with survey monkey as it’s decided not to generate the code again, so maybe the first lot was incorrect. Amazingly their support team is being really helpful, so I’ll let you know the outcome when I have some functioning code to play with again.
In the meantime if any other Kleo users have used SM, any pointers/trouble shooting tips would be useful! Cheers.
5high-photohubParticipantOk, though i thought it was related to the s2member plugin?? unfortunately i can’t check it out on a mac 🙁
5high-photohubParticipantThought it might be useful for you to have admin login details, but if so I’d prefer to start a new thread as when others have posted private replies on a thread that I’ve started i actually got all of their private info by email!
5high-photohubParticipantJust found another thread similar to this with this code:
COPY CODE.mfp-bg { background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.9) !important; }
but again no change.
5high-photohubParticipantHi Laura,
This is exactly what I’d like too… but not sure why but the above doesn’t seem to be working for me at all! I’ve even tried it with;
COPY CODEopacity: 0.99 !important; filter: alpha(opacity=99);
and still not change – any ideas? Or have some selectors changed in the recent update?
Thanks.
5high-photohubParticipantHi Abe,
OK, I’ve tested it with the current Kleo functions.php (v 3.0.3) and then also swapped it for the functions.php info in your file as above. Unfortunately no change. It logs you in correctly and redirects as expected for users with admin rights, but still not for non-admin users. So for them it still says, ‘you’re already logged in, refresh page’ etc, then when refreshed it takes you to the same page you were on originally. So now change.
I’ll put it back to the latest 3.0.3 version for now, but am happy to test other versions for you.
Cheers.
5high-photohubParticipantThanks for the update. So the horizontal lines issue is now fixed with the Kleo update, BUT the same update has broken the width (as per your last screenshot)? At least that’s what I understand from your last post… If so, any solution for this Abe?
Thanks.5high-photohubParticipantHi @empoweredanimals – have you removed your custom css, so it’s just the Kleo updated styling causing it? or do you have both in play?
5high-photohubParticipantThanks, I’ll leave as is for now, unless @empoweredanimals gives feedback that it’s not working.
Cheers.5high-photohubParticipantHi again,
Just wondered if you had managed to incorporate this into the latest update or not? I’ve had a poke around but couldn’t find anything for this…
Cheers, J5high-photohubParticipantAbe – can you clarify whether we’d still need this extra css to fix this issue? or is it incorporated in the latest update?
Cheers.5high-photohubParticipantThanks for the info Andrei. However I think I’ll leave it as it might effect other plugins etc. It also seems to be a general issue, as it’s been posted as a problem on the js composer forum, so hopefully a fix will come from that (for anyone else looking to fix this see this thread to keep you updated: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/endless-php-errors-for-js-composer-since-last-update#post-64745.
Cheers.5high-photohubParticipantThanks – I think our comments crossed paths just now! re. changing php versions, not sure i can do that on mine, and as you said it might effect other things. Will await for a solution from VC 🙂
5high-photohubParticipant@sharmstr – I’ve also found a thread about this exact same error – see info in the VC support forum 20 days ago by ‘graciliano’ here: http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments?page=424. They reckoned a conflict with WooCommerce, though i don’t have that on this site as yet.
Also here (http://themeforest.net/item/organic-food-responsive-wordpress-theme/9190826/comments) about 9 days ago under ‘ideiaznet’.
So it sounds like a problem with jc-composer with something else – can you put in a support ticket with them for this? After all, getting endless php errors does mean there’s a problem, even if it’s a minor one!
Many thanks.
5high-photohubParticipantOK, I’ll ask @sedmorders to post his ‘fix’ in a way others can follow, and will update with the outcome here.
Thanks.5high-photohubParticipant@sedmorders – I’m getting the same warnings, but don’t understand where you edited to change the php version number to clear the warnings. Can you post some step by step instructions please?
Many thanks.5high-photohubParticipantAlso the lines of code that’s repeatedly listed in the errors are these:
line #474 = ‘foreach…’:COPY CODEpublic function contentAdmin( $atts, $content ) { $element = $this->shortcode; $output = $custom_markup = $width = $el_position = ''; if ( $content != null ) { $content = wpautop( stripslashes( $content ) ); } $shortcode_attributes = array( 'width' => '1/1' ); foreach ( $this->settings['params'] as $param ) { if ( $param['param_name'] != 'content' ) { if ( isset( $param['value'] ) ) { $shortcode_attributes[ $param['param_name'] ] = is_string( $param['value'] ) ? __( $param['value'], "js_composer" ) : $param['value']; } else { $shortcode_attributes[ $param['param_name'] ] = ''; } } else if ( $param['param_name'] == 'content' && $content == null ) { $content = isset( $param['value'] ) ? __( $param['value'], "js_composer" ) : ''; } }
and line # 1005 = ‘foreach…’:
COPY CODEprotected function paramsHtmlHolders( $atts ) { extract( $atts ); $iner = ''; foreach ( $this->settings['params'] as $param ) { $param_value = isset( $$param['param_name'] ) ? $$param['param_name'] : ''; if ( is_array( $param_value ) ) { // Get first element from the array reset( $param_value ); $first_key = key( $param_value ); $param_value = is_null( $first_key ) ? '' : $param_value[ $first_key ]; } $iner .= $this->singleParamHtmlHolder( $param, $param_value ); }
Thanks for looking into this.
5high-photohubParticipantyes, the link is here: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/kleo-3-0-visual-composer-4-5-2-wont-edit-any-pages and although the php error is the same (well one of them is) editing with jc composer is OK for me. So it might be a total red herring…
5high-photohubParticipantHi Abe,
Not sure if you’ve had a chance to test the login situation on my site yet? or just the others?… as mine doesn’t redirect to wp-login.php as you mentioned above, it’s just the original issue with the popup login not functioning correctly and not redirecting.
Cheers.
