ParticipantThanks Laura,
Unfortunately, although it does reduce the excessive gap between the captcha input text box and the send button, it also seriously reduces the gaps at the top of the form so the text now overlaps the input boxes.
I’ve attached a screenshot, but can’t see how to fix this.
Any more thoughts?

ParticipantHi Laura,
sure, i should have thought of that! It’s here: https://www.the-photohub.co.nz/contact/
Thanks.

ParticipantThanks for that idea. I presume you just mean by adding a custom link to wp-login.php? It will certainly get around it, but as you say, not pretty! But it works for our home page as we can’t add in a login widget anywhere there.
Just for your info, we’ve used the s2m login widget (or the BP login widget works OK too) in a new ‘sidebar’ and then included this in a ‘widgetised sidebar’ in our 2 other public pages. These work perfectly, as they’re s2m logins.
Cheers.

Participant@empoweredanimals – thanks for the info – pity no quick fix! And thanks Abe for looking into this too.

ParticipantUpdate:
I’ve managed some time to run some more tests on our clean install/test site and can now confirm that kleo also breaks the s2member ‘success’ redirect loop.
= the Kleo theme also breaks the s2member pro form success redirect after a payment has been accepted by payPal (standard paypal account, using a PP buy now button and the s2m pro forms). It does redirect correctly back to the site from PayPal, but it takes it to the registration page that you’ve just come from (where the buy now pro form button actually is), not to the ‘success redirect’ to a customised Thank you page. (it’s like it doesn’t recognise it).
When I repeat this using the default WP theme it redirects correctly.
Hope this helps too?
Cheers.

Participant@empoweredanimals – can you tell me how you fixed this? I’ve found a similar problem in that our s2member pro MOP (Membership Options) shortcodes (eg. [s2MOP]protected content here.[/s2MOP]) don’t work with Kleo theme, but work with the default WP 2015 theme.
Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers,
JennyPS. hope your launch went well? Ours is now live too and looking good – thanks to the Kleo theme team!

ParticipantFinal update:
I have now completed testing s2Member Pro and Kleo theme using a clean install of WP.
1. First tested with s2m pro + Buddypress + Kleo theme (NO other plugins active).
This was to test for the problems with the login NOT auto redirecting when using the BP login pop up in the theme. Results:
Login using the BP menu login pop up – does NOT auto redirect, but says you have to refresh the page and when refreshed it goes to the page you were on originally (NOT the s2m login welcome page as expected)2. Then tested with s2m pro + Buddypress + default WP 2015 theme (NO other plugins active).
Results:
Login using the BP menu login link – logs straight in without having to ‘refresh’So there is a definite conflict with the Kleo theme for the popup login boxes and s2member (and possibly with it’s redirect to a Login Welcome page too?). This happened with both the s2member framework AND the s2member pro version.
Could this be looked into at some stage soon, as s2member is a popular and powerful (and by all accounts a well coded) plugin? Plus you have quite a few Kleo customers who already use it – and are experiencing the same problems.
Many thanks,
Jenny

ParticipantActually don’t worry, I’ve designed it differently now -so all good.
Thanks for your help before.5high-photohub
ParticipantHi Radu,
Hope, can’t track it down. In the docs it say all style is in assets/css/app.css, and when I look in this I can only find stle for standard tour tabs – not the sub-tabs style.
If I use Firefox to locate your styling for Theme options in wp-admin for the Vertical tour tabs then I think I’m only seeing WP css as I can’t find any of these selectors in the kloe css:
.redux-sidebar .redux-group-menu li.active.hasSubSections a, .admin-color-sunrise .redux-sidebar .redux-group-menu li.activeChild.hasSubSections a
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.5high-photohub
ParticipantHi again,
Got the all clear from our hosting provider, so no issues there that might be affecting it.
Not sure if this has any impact but I just noticed that in Kleo theme settings > miscellaneous there’s a Login redirect option for Popup login box. Perhaps this is in conflict with the s2m login/redirect after login?
have also heard back from s2m and they’ve run a server test and enerything is as it should be. When time I will do a test with kleo and s2m only, but personally i think it will just confirm that there is a conflict with Kleo theme and s2member pro.
Cheers.

ParticipantHi Radu,
Yup, that code worked OK, though in retrospect I think it’s best to keep the notices short and sweet with the close button at the bottom (where you have it usually) so it encourages people to read it first!
many thanks for your time and help – maybe this will be useful for someone else too!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi again,
Can you please clarify how to style tabs as ‘sub-tabs’ – as per below Q…
5. and lastly how to arrange the tabs into ‘sub tabs’ (if possible), like in your Kleo theme options > ‘styling options’ section in wp-admin.
many thanks,
J

ParticipantThanks for that – I’ll review it when we’re next in maintenance and I’ll update you then.
Cheers.5high-photohub
ParticipantGreat! Thanks – I assume it will be in the next Kleo update?
Great support as always!5high-photohub
ParticipantThanks! now it works – I’m sure it said it was a div in Firefox.
So should be all good now 🙂April 3, 2015 at 02:20 in reply to: user on ipad can't access close butoon in sitewide notice #529505high-photohub
ParticipantHi Radu,
Thanks for your quick response. The css above is actually the one I’m using from a previous thread! So all good there.
What I was trying to do was to move the Close button (#close-notice) to the top of the message, rather than at the bottom, as I thought that might solve any future problems.
If this can’t be done then we’ll stick with very short notices!
Cheers,
JApril 2, 2015 at 10:14 in reply to: user on ipad can't access close butoon in sitewide notice #528205high-photohub
ParticipantUpdate: now not urgent as have had to remove the notice and replace it with a link to the info in a page.
But it’s still something I’d like to change, so that there can be no issue in the future.
Cheers.

ParticipantYes, it’s a bit of a problem @empoweredanim but i think the wp-admin access is something seperate. I used the s2m restrict wp-admin settings plus the code below in my child theme functions.php
COPY CODEif ( ! current_user_can( 'manage_options' ) ) { show_admin_bar( false ); }
May be worth a try?
@abe I’m also talking to my hosting providers to see if there’s any conflict they can see at their end – will keep you updated. But it certainly seems that this is a theme/s2m issue as quite a few different people are experiencing the same thing.5high-photohub
ParticipantThanks for that. I did try your last recommendation with an increase to the default of 50 wors, so like this:
COPY CODEfunction kleo_excerpt( $limit = 50, $chars = false ) { return strip_tags( get_the_excerpt() ); }
and it works great!
Thanks again.
5high-photohub
ParticipantThanks, all good now. I’ll steer clear of the VC video shortcode element from now.
5high-photohub
ParticipantThanks – it now works fine! I was confused by the VC code you gave too, as it seemed like I should still be trying to add it in there. All Ok now.
For future reference, does that mean that the VC video embed doesn’t work as expected? Or it does as long as you don’t mind the rel=0 being stripped out?
Cheers, J

ParticipantHi sharmstr,
Well, I must be really thick or just not getting this, but i still can’t get it to work! I can see how it’s working on your test site but can’t do it myself. I’ve tried all sorts of combinations in the VC editor and sometimes I get the video just in the backend, with your default VC video in the frontend, and others it just shows the code as text in the frontend – ie. incorrect!
For my sanity, could you spell it out in step by step instructions as to what code you put where?!
Sorry for this – just seem to have a block with this!
Thanks, Jenny
5high-photohub
ParticipantThanks Sharmstr,
I’ve tried it both ways and neither work – in fact they both make the excerpt shorter!? The code I used was this for increasing characters to 100 (as yours above) which produced NO excerpt at all:
COPY CODEfunction kleo_excerpt( $limit = 20, $chars = true ) { $except_initial = strip_tags( get_the_excerpt() ); if ( $chars ) { $excerpt = explode( ' ', $except_initial, '100' ); if ( count( $excerpt ) >= '100' ) { array_pop( $excerpt ); $excerpt = implode( " ", $excerpt ) . '...'; } else { $excerpt = implode( " ", $excerpt ) . ''; } /** TODO */ $excerpt = preg_replace( '<code>\[[^\]]*\]</code>', '', $excerpt ); return '<p>' . $excerpt . '</p>'; } else { $excerpt = $except_initial; return '<p>'. substr( $excerpt, 0, $limit ) . ( strlen( $excerpt ) > $limit ? '...' : '' ) . '</p>'; } }
and this for limiting by words to 50 which made the excerpt even shorter:
COPY CODEfunction kleo_excerpt( $limit = 50, $chars = false ) { $except_initial = strip_tags( get_the_excerpt() ); if ( $chars ) { $excerpt = explode( ' ', $except_initial, '100' ); if ( count( $excerpt ) >= '100' ) { array_pop( $excerpt ); $excerpt = implode( " ", $excerpt ) . '...'; } else { $excerpt = implode( " ", $excerpt ) . ''; } /** TODO */ $excerpt = preg_replace( '<code>\[[^\]]*\]</code>', '', $excerpt ); return '<p>' . $excerpt . '</p>'; } else { $excerpt = $except_initial; return '<p>'. substr( $excerpt, 0, $limit ) . ( strlen( $excerpt ) > $limit ? '...' : '' ) . '</p>'; } }
I’ve obviously copied it incorrectly somehow. Can you check it for me?
(I’ve attached screen shots of both FYI.)
Many thanks,
JAttachments:

ParticipantHi Abe,
Yes, I have the latest version – and am signed up for auto updates too.
It’s definitely something to do with the Kleo popup login box (which I love!) as if I use the s2m login widget in a sidebar OR the BP login widget they both login as expected.
But with the menu links for both the BP login and the Kleo login – where the popup appears, the auto redirect fails. The ONLY one it works for is if you sign in using the popup login as an admin. Otherwise it doesn’t. Not sure if you’ve tested it as a user, rather than an admin?
Thanks and looking forward to any solutions,
Jenny
PS: my only other thought as a temporary ‘work around’ for this, is if I can somehow make a menu link using a short code for the BP login widget or the php code for the s2m login widget ( <?php echo s2member_pro_login_widget(); ?> ). Could this be done? If so, then the main login/logout menu links might work as per the BP and s2m widgets… Just a thought!

ParticipantHi Radu,
nope, it doesn’t work like that for me. I used the exact same code (with link to our unlisted video of course) and it still showed other videos at the end – see attached.
Any other ideas?

ParticipantNB: Actually I’ve just noticed i didn’t copy all the actual links we’d tried – all the ones above we’d changed to have the same ending like you suggested, so with the ?rel=0 at the end.
Sorry for any confusion.5high-photohub
ParticipantHi Radu,
Just tested it again and nothing seems to work.
So using the VC video element we’ve tried various options using the embed link like this (with fake link inserted here):
https://youtube.com/watch?v=xyzABC-evk
https://youtube.com/watch?v=xyzABC-evk%3Frel%3D0
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/xyzABC-evk” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>…when you looked at the frontend it only showed text (no video) AND it had somehow changed the text!). It now showed:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=xyzABC-evk?rel=0 – but as actual text in the page (no video).
And tried using the share link like this:
https://youtu.be/xyzABC-evk?rel=0
This worked but then had the same problem as originally, where lots of random videos display after it’s finished.
Please can you check this out for us again, so it plays in the page and then just stops at the end (none else’s videos after)?
As our site launches in 2 days I’d really appreciate getting this sorted out asap! Thanks.

ParticipantHi again,
I’ve found the correct css for controlling the tab widths:COPY CODE.wpb_tour .nav-tab { width: 200px;}
but this of course doesn’t work for when it scaling to a smaller screen, likw it should. Can you give me an idea of how to do it so it’s narrower ina large screen, then reverts back to it’s default wider width in a smallerscreen -so it looks like a normal menu then?
So still after answers to #1 and #5 above!
Thanks.5high-photohub
ParticipantNo problem – the benefits of an open support community. And your team help with heaps of other stuff!
Cheers.5high-photohub
ParticipantOK I’ve managed to track down some of it. These seem to work but can you just check my css below?
COPY CODE/* Trial change colour of tab on hover in vertical tour tabbed content - SeventhQueen support */ .wpb_tour .nav-tab li:hover, .wpb_tour .nav-tab li.active { background-color: #6ebad3 !important; } /* Trial change colour of tabs in vertical tour tabbed content and borders on tabs */ .wpb_tour .nav-tab { background-color: #bde1f9 !important; border: solid 1px !important; border-color: #6ebad3 !important; } /* Trial change colour of border for tabbed contents in vertical tour tabbed content */ .wpb_tour .tab-content { border: solid 1px !important; border-color: #6ebad3 !important; }
But the things I can’t find are:
#1. how to change the tab width, yet remain responsive
#5. how to group as sub=tabsAny help would be great! Cheers.

ParticipantBrilliant! Thanks again – and in case others are looking to do this, I’ fairly sure that it’s this selector that also controls the JTC Hacker CAPTCHA tooltip that you can set for a BP login in the Bullet proof Security plugin – which is really what I needed it for as it was way too small to show the CAPTCHA text.
Cheers,
J5high-photohub
ParticipantSorry – forgot it was in Maintenance mode as we’re just about to launch. So I’ve turned off maintenance mode now – I’ll keep an eye out for when you’re done so I can turn it back on.
Many thanks,
Jenny5high-photohub
ParticipantThank you – this worked in my child theme style.css:
COPY CODE/* Increase text size in very top menu - SeventhQueen support */ .top-menu li > a { font-size: 18px !important; }
But still no luck with finding the relevant css selector for tool tips text size on hover, even with the style > hover selected in Firebug. I’ll post a private reply below with a link to a page to see if you can find it.
But thanks fro this one!
