I don’t know this would happen with another theme because Kleo is using a lot of js where other themes don’t.
Can you please try ticking, and unticking and ticking again, a few time? You will see that it starts to get unresponsive.

sorry about that – I have a couple issues with plugins from Buddyboss and I wanted to show them their plugin does not work in default themes too.
I have reactivated Kleo on the test site now. 🙂

If you log in as the user below – go to community > groups > test group, then you can invite the friend and see the small issue with the tickbox.
ps – I tested this in TwentySeventeen and it seems only Kleo has the slider. The other theme just lists the gifs down the page, so I am guessing this is a Kleo thing 🙂

Actually, half of me wants to write a real bad review because the theme is too good and I want it all for myself ar har har har rubs hands.
But I won’t, because presumably a Lady generally gives much better support when in nice shoes.

I’ll put this here. Put it private if you want I don’t mind.
Previously, I had had concerns about you Guys support level. Such a damn shame because the theme is the balls. Yes it’s got some quirks, but hey so does Facebook.
So here’s me with a serious web project needing this template. And I invest the time to learn my way around this theme, plugins that work with this theme etc. Thing is flaky as hell and crashing all over the place. Do it one time on result, do it a second time, different result. Got the project pressure on, clocks ticking 7th Q support is taking it’s time, or worse telling me ‘it’s working for me’ jazz, man you don’t want to hear that. And here is me hovering over the review on Envato.
Well anyway, since then something happened and suddenly support is coming back within 8 hours instead of 3 days. Solutions instead of nonsense. So now you have the best theme, with the top notch support. So shortly I will be writing a review to big up 7th Queen, and all that.

okay, that displays it properly on the blog results, and displays it nicely on the blog item page.
However that now does not show any preview of the youtube video on the activity line. If you just paste the youtube link into the blog item content area, it shows up on the blog item page and the activity line.
So we still have 2 out of 3, just a different 2.
Do you know any different ways that will display on all 3? If it displays in the activity line and on the blog item page, shouldn’t it just do the same in the blog results view?

sorry this happened after a Kleo install, but it was actually due to rtMedia.
If anybody else gets that, you can try disabling / enabling all rtMedia plugins.

It’s okay I can scroll on other browsers while I am working on the site. The site needs a footer, so I will wait to see what solution you have, thanks.

That CSS does solve the IE scrolling problem. Unfortunately when I add that CSS, the activity wall stops working. It makes the activity not load, the same way as the media is not loading.

Why can’t you guys keep your support like this all the time? It’s a nice looking product and it does a good job when things are working. I’ve seen a lot of people around the web complaining about your level of support, which is a shame. I am confident it would make a huge impact on people’s perception if you could maintain the speed and helpfulness I’ve experienced today, it’s like a different company.

Other information. If you refresh the media page while you are at the top of the page, then scroll down, the loading js does not trigger and the media items remain invisible.
If you refresh the page while you are in the middle of the page (where the icons are already visible), the media items will appear.
It seems there is a problem with whatever is supposed to be triggering them showing.
Also can you please get someone to have a look at the other issue with not scrolling in IE thanks.
Hi which user are you looking at? Media is set to not show for logged out users. I will post some logins below.
The problem seems to be with el-zero-fade function on the under media-gallery-item.php, if I remove that class from the li the items show up. They don’t fade in, but at least they are visible.

that’s great. All I need to do is install my site on your server, with your settings and plugins and we should have no problems.
As it is, on MY setup it is not working, and that is where the problem is. I would appreciate some support with the issue, rather than keep telling me that it works on your installation.
I have installed the latest update and the problem remains. Please can you look into this issue and held me identify where the problem is.
I also have an issue with the site not scrolling in IE, there is a ticket open waiting for a response.

WPMUDev suggested the same. I removed that js and the function that calls it but that did not fix the problem. This js is called from the functions.php anyway so I also removed it when I removed all the custom functions.
I have removed it again so you can check for yourself.

specifically I am on Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.18252, it updates automatically so it’s the latest version.
However I have tried it on my old laptop IE and it’s the same. I’ve also had 3 other people test it on their IE and they get the same results, no vertical scroll. No scrollbar, scroll wheel doesn’t work. Page-up / page-down and scroll keys don’t work either.
I checked this again the other day when I removed all custom CSS / functions, and all non-theme plugins, it still wasn’t working.

I asked some other people to test this and they were getting the same results:
My support guy overseas tried this on Chrome, Edge and Firefox. It worked on Edge, but for Chrome and Firefox the media icons / thumbs were missing.
WPMUDev support had a look at this, they also had no icons / thumbs.
I have:
– deactivated all non-theme plugins – no effect
– removed all custom CSS – no effect
– removed all custom functions – no effect
– rolled rtMedia back to version 4.3.1 – no effectThis is an intermittent issue. One time out of 10 the icons will appear as expected. Sometimes if you leave the media page open for a while, the icons will appear eventually. Sometimes they won’t. Sometimes it will work 10 times in a row, then stop working again.
Please can you look into this and let me know thanks.
This is potentially also to do with strangeness on my desktop. If it comes up again in other testing I will reopen this ticket thanks.

ok there is something weird going on with my desktop because this is happening in all my browsers. On my laptop this is not happening so I will put it down to a local issue and mark this as resolved thanks.

I do not know if this is helpful. I have been watching the styles for the player elements, during first play and on completion of first play.
The only thing that I can see which changes is the mejs-control class – during first play the position:absolute is nulled out. Once the first play is complete, the position:absolute becomes active again, and the controls reappear. See attached.
