The post grids have been showing fine, we are having issues with the portfolio filters.
The videos toward the top of the post should only be from the Germany portfolio category, but it is showing all videos.
Here is a link to that portfolio category:
https://www.vegantravel.com/portfolio-category/europe-videos/germany-videos/We have tried to set the filter to show all, then switching back to just Germany videos, but that didn’t work. The only way we have discovered to make it work is to select “Exclude categories”, but we have 200 plus categories, and to limit it to just one we would need too many boxes. We use this feature on a bunch of pages, and to exclude all other categories will be a huge task.

I do think it is related to a Kleo update. We didn’t see this issue until the recent update.
Here is a better example page (on the previous page, we removed the portfolio option after I posted it):
https://www.vegantravel.com/destinations/europe/germany/All the videos should be filtered on the German video category, but it shows the most recent videos first.
Also, we noticed that all of the portfolio options where we set a max number of items to show of 9, reverted to showing all items. That is also a big issue as there are hundreds of video portfolio items, so some pages break because of the volume of data being pulled in.
Once we set them back to show only 9 items, that portfolio option works, but the filter by category doesn’t work.
I will provide credentials in a supplemental post just below.
Thanks!
directnet42uParticipantHi thank you for your response!
To clarify though, Questions 3 and 4 were also about Facebook comments. As far as I can tell the resources listed are for the native Facebook comment system. Do they also apply to Facebook comments?
So, to rephrase, how does the KLEO Facebook comment integration handle moderation and how can we allow anonymous user comments with the KLEO Facebook comment integration.
If those features are not available with the KLEO Facebook comment integration, are there any suggested plugins that would provide that functionality?
Alternatively can both the Facebook integration and the native comment system work side by side?
Thanks again and have a great day!
directnet42uParticipantOkay, sounds good. How do i do that? I visited the feature request page, but I could not find any options to post one and I did not see that in the category drop down menu on the create new ticket form.
directnet42uParticipantSorry, the comment field did not accept my HTML code – didn’t realize there was a “code” tag
When I implemented the function above, for some reason, it removes the div with the ID respond-wrap:
<div id="respond-wrap">
Which wraps the div with the id respond and class of comment-respond:
<div id="respond" class="comment-respond">
When the respond-wrap div is removed, the comment button hits the top of the footer section as demonstrated by
etwark’s image. There is no spacing below the button. In addition, the comment textarea field is only half the width. When I remove the code from above, the comment field returns to it’s proper padding and width.

directnet42uParticipantThe code is still there. What seems to happen is that the page will load without those other categories, but then if you stay on the page for a few seconds it shows the “Load Newest” section (see attached image) at the top. Then when you click on that it displays the new members and friendships. Do you know what might be causing this?

directnet42uParticipantUnfortunately that code did not work for us. We’re wanting the activity page to only display updates that people post directly to that page. We do not want it to show new memberships, friendships, cover photos, etc. Hopefully that makes sense, please pass along any questions if you need me to clarify.
directnet42uParticipantThank you,
We are trying it now, but I’m not sure if it will do what we are in need of.
Basically we want the sidebar to be different than the main sidebar that’s on the other pages. That is, we want the sidebar content (such as widgets) to be specific to this activity page only.directnet42uParticipantIt looks great, thanks!
Just so we know, was there a special setting that needed to be changed?directnet42uParticipantWe were still having issues with it so we decided to disable the image gallery on that page. Thanks anyway!
directnet42uParticipantThank you, that is much better! Although is there a reason why the Buddypress photos themselves don’t show up in the post comments?
directnet42uParticipantNever mind there was a conflict with another plugin we were using. We fixed it, thanks!
directnet42uParticipantI just installed the plugin but the admin bar still isn’t showing for authors after I changed the settings. Is there a separate setting in the Kleo theme options that I need to change?
directnet42uParticipantI tried that under screen options, but unfortunately it is still showing the same comment box on this page.

directnet42uParticipantThank you for the reply and trouble shooting tip.
It looks like it might be a conflict with the GeoDirectory Events plugin. I deactivated that plugin and the error goes away. I will bring the error to that plugin’s author to see if they have a fix.
In the future, should I send questions about the Visual Composer plugin to WPBakery? I had thought that unless we purchase the full Visual Composer license, support for the VC plugin was to go through the theme that bundled the VC plugin.
Thanks again and have an excellent day!
directnet42uParticipantSorry for the miscommunication, our “Theme General Settings” were unchecked in the Screen Options on the homepage editor, so they were not showing. Our issue has been resolved, thank you.
directnet42uParticipantYes, that’s what I assumed. If you see the attached photo, the top bar has been enabled but it’s not showing the social icons on the home page.
