About what i said, At Users – Profile fields you have all the fields of your users, like name, i am a, looking for a…. There you can add the State field at the BASE group ( you will see it once you go there )

Then at Users – Profile Search, you should see the member search form, click edit and add a new field, which is the new State field you created, save and that’s all

Hello, i understand the confusing of having your admin user there, buddypress creates a profile for the admin too and we cant delete that sadly, but you nobody knows you are the admin unless you have the ADMIN as a name.

The issue with the blog was that you had at Settings – Reading the front page and blog page as the same, when this is not needed, you just select that the frontpage is blog page instead, should be fixed now
