I am now validating everything on the new site and fix one by one the problems. Once done I will delete the theme from my temporary domain as I need it anyway for something else.
I mark the ticket as resolved and in case of other issues I will submit a new one.

I have tried to follow the instructions above but I got in big trouble. What I did is following:
1. I have creating a staging site on the new domain: ex: new domain is “www.newsite.com” and the staging is “www.newsite.com/stagingsite”. This was working fine. I had just a landing page initially on both of them.
2. I wanted to transfer the content of the temporary domain to my new staging to continue there with the work. For that I was using the plugin All-in-one WP Migration. From what I was able to see and read it was the perfect choice to clone the temporary site to the staging. However, after I imported everything and I had to login I had the error on login and not able to login anymore and when I tried to recover my password I got the error that the key of the site is not valid for the domain, which is true but I need temporary to be able to do this move somehow without buying a new license.
Can you or somebody from the technical team advise how to proceed in my case?

Thanks for the info. As the setup today is not the one you explained is it possible to reuse the license I have with the new domain and recreate the test as a directory of the new domain? Is this technically possible or once the theme installed on a domain is not possible anymore to connect the license with the other domain?

Finally, it was really simple. It was in the theme and I was able to translate it via Loco. It was the Search button for members’ directory.

Many thanks for your help. I have search from the very beginning as you proposed but I cannot find this string being listed in Loco. Funny is that I cannot find this STRING in the code of BP Profile Search as well. I have opened ticket directly with the plugin support.

Thanks. However, I do not want to hide the entire fields but only one of the option to be selected.
Privacy: I want to remove the option “Public – Visible to the world”. The other options: Private, Friends and Logged in Users should be visible (see privacy.jpg attached)
Profile visibility: “Everyone” should be removed/hidden from the list of choices. All the other should remain. (see visibility.jpg attached)

Again, you did not understand my question. I was not asking where those predefined fields are but how to translate them? If you mean that the translation has to occur at users – profile fields, and for search form at users – profile search than I have to you following question:
What about the text that is available for translation in Loco. I see all predefined fields labels being available in loco so I am not sure how loco translation impacts the UI for predefined fields like Age, City, Country, I am a. They are tranlated in Loco but these translation is not visible everywhere.
Please check as well the image I attached initially and try to answer based on the example I have. I need to know how to fix my problem (which again is highlighted in the image).

Sorry but you did not understand my questions or did not read carefully what I have asked for:
1. GROUP is singular not plural. You have the list of GROUPS and for this I know already what to do but as well you can open a page of a single GROUP and its content. The group itself is coming with its own sidebar which I want to change. The group itself is visible under mysite.com/groups/mygroup. The question here is where should I go to change the side bar of this one?
2. Same question for FORUM and FORUMS – where is the place or what I have to do to change the sidebar visible when a user is open a forum content or the list of forums?
Please note that I create in widgets different pieces to be used as sidebars but I do not know how to integrate them for the cases above.

yes right, this is what I meant with “has to be defined from the very beginning in the language of the site together with its value”. To me this is not a translation as these fields will be setup in one language only.
What about the predefined fields from the theme like Age, City, Country, I am a ? Can you please provide feedback on my other queries?

I have done already this, rechecked based on your advise and:
1. “Search Media” is not present to be translated in any of the mentioned plugins/theme.
2. “Wall Posts” appears in Loco for rtMedia however, the translation does not happened. The mapping probably is wrong because even if the string is translated I can see the still see the English text.
3. The second issue is more a syntax one. The strings can be translated, on the menu they are ok, however when clicked (for example Music) there is a title which is composed by 2 words (see picture I attached initially) which do not fit together is some languages like Romanian – it like you say “All man” instead of “All men”.Thanks for looking more in detail based on my feedback.

I still need to test as I think something is wrong on my site due to translations. However meanwhile I remark that with the new file the links for “Members” and “My friends” are not working (see attached). Have a look at this until I will do additional tests.

Thanks, I have updated that part of code with the domain reference and after synchronizing in Loco the strings appeared to be translated and translation worked as expected.
I’ll mark the issue resolved. Hope you will keep this update for your next release so that with the future updates of the theme this improvement will not be lost.

Thanks for your support. I have replaced the file as advised however:
1. Age is still visible to all users logged in even if in the profile is is mentioned to be visible only to friends.
2. Names are now doubled – this seems to be side effect.See for more details the attached image.

Does the functions.php from the pastebin above contain the correction that you have applied for my other issue with Captcha? As of now, I have already an updated functions.php, I am just concerned that with the new file one issue will be fixed, but the other will reappear.
Or can you highlight to me what needs to be updated (if not a lot)?

The way I saw it works it is in this specific case not standard. The reset password email actually is triggered by WordPress itself. And there is a standard text which is translated in Loco translate for this and WordPress. However, the English text does not match with what the text used in theme function.php file where this function is referenced – there is a lost password function in functions.php of the theme where this text is hardcoded. Attached a screen shot of the text I had to change to make it work as designed.
Please root this to the technical team (Radu for example), they will probably know what I mean.

I was able to solve the issue by myself. I had to deactivate the “Theme My Login” plugin and than the code above worked also for the reset password. For activation page I used a buddypress function bp_is_activation_page() to allow users reaching this page when they are not logged in.

https://mysite.com/resetpass/?key=qKFDOg62xA1adsHc0On5&login=xxx
and when clicked the user is redirected to the registration page instead of the reset page.
