ok I deleted the plugin I have and for some reason the recaptcha is still showing. Could it be because I add the keys to the register.php and header.php?
It seems to be working fine now without any plugin but now I have a new problem…
When the user registers they get a 404 page, they should have been re-directed to a getting started page with an auto-login plugin I have been using called “BP Disable Activation Reloaded”. That plugin seems to have stopped working with all the new updates that I have done? Can you recommend something else that I could use instead that will work in the same way?

I think that is the one I have, it’s called buddypress captcha but it uses the recaptcha (see screenshot) I tried to look for buddypress recaptcha but it looks like the one I have already…

mledunParticipantHi Radu, here is the link to the home page http://barterentrepreneur.com/
if you scroll down to the footer in the “About Us” section it has this weird hyperlink to mailchimp and I don’t know where I remove it. Can you help?
mledunParticipantoops! Just realized that i can do it on the website and not need to go into the backend! That’s why I couldn’t find it hahhaha!
mledunParticipantDon’t worry I found how to do it:
I went it to styles.css in the childtheme
.icon-heart:before {
content: “REPLACED WITH NEW ICON CODE”;
}mledunParticipantHi Laura, I think this is a different heart you are referring to, I’m talking about the heart image that appears on the homepage when you hover over a topic image and NOT the hearts that show on a profile page.
mledunParticipantHi Laura,
I added the code to my styles.css in the child theme but it’s still showing the hearts on the homepage 🙁
mledunParticipantHi Andrei,thanks for looking into this… yes, users have filled out both fields – what version of wordpress are you using? I’m using the latest version, could that be the problem? didn’t have issues before…
I’m going to try and export again…
mledunParticipantHi Andrei, yes sorry about that – I have the export user data installed. What should I do? Thank you.
mledunParticipantHi i’m not using any plugin… I just went to users-export user data and then selected the fields I wanted from BP xProfile fields section
mledunParticipantOk I have removed everything and changed it to I am looking for: but nothing exports into that column! help please!
mledunParticipantI can’t edit the screenshot I showed you. I tried. Am I doing something wrong? Where is the “\” coming from?

mledunParticipantHi Laura,
I have another question… is there a way for the page to open in Profile-edit? so rather than them having to click the edit button to make changes, it’s automatically on that page when they login? Thank you so much for all your help!
January 30, 2015 at 01:06 in reply to: Twitter Widget not showing my twitter account after theme update #44021mledunParticipantI changed the file as you suggested and it’s still not working! 🙁
mledunParticipantHi Abe, Theme files were definatley updated and I just tested it and it’s still not carrying over the password. Just so we are clear on what I’m talking about – it is this tiny little form on the homepage (see attached image)

January 22, 2015 at 13:14 in reply to: Twitter Widget not showing my twitter account after theme update #43009mledunParticipantI’m having the same problem..
mledunParticipantHi, I just installed version 2.8 but still having the same problem, would I need to re-install the child theme as well in order for it to work? I don’t want to loose any customizations I have already done to the site.
mledunParticipantHi i just tried to change the text on the page like you suggested but it doesn’t seem to work…what am i doing wrong?
mledunParticipantLaura, you are right thank you so so much! I see now that if a member doesn’t complete those fields then it wouldn’t show on their profile thank you so much for helping me with this! xx
mledunParticipantHi Laura the tabs are still not showing – you have just renamed “About me” to “Base” nothing else is showing in the profile!
