Hi @Laura. I already had contacted them. Instead of a shared server they are proposing a VPS plan. Do you think that is a good idea ? If so, do you have any suggestions for good VPS providers besides iPage ?
MoJo68Participant@Laura: I am looking at the error logs generated by the server and I also have a lot of:
PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /hermes/bosoraweb076/b2865/ipg.skvirlcom/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-xprofile/classes/class-bp-xprofile-field-type-multiselectbox.php on line 126Can it be related to the above issue or is this something else ?
Thank you for your support.MoJo68ParticipantHi Laura. I followed your advice and increased the memory limit up to 512M and I set the debug setting to true and I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /hermes/bosoraweb076/b2865/ipg.skvirlcom/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-functions.php(147) : runtime-created function on line 1So it indeed seems to be a memory limit issue but it is not fixed with 512M…
September 23, 2015 at 00:11 in reply to: Your Search Form Customization & Profile Fields Don't Work #79050MoJo68Participant@Andrei: I had a similar question. There are profile fields like “country” which are used in the basic field but which I also want to use in a new group called “My collection”. How can I copy those fields into the new group ? I tried to right-click but that doesn’t work.
Furthermore I was triggered by your comment “there is no option to import/export fields if this is what you were looking for.” This means that for instance for years I will have to create a list from say 1900 till date all manually and with no option to re-use that list somewhere else ?
Thanks.September 17, 2015 at 21:41 in reply to: Cant Login to WordPress Dashboard whe bbPress is activated #78249MoJo68ParticipantThe problem has been solved. Ipage increased the memory limit for my website. It had to be changed in a file that was not visible to me. The solutions to increase the memory limit mentioned in this support site only made things worse. Ipage made the change for me and it is working fine now.
Thank you for the support.August 15, 2015 at 19:39 in reply to: Cant Login to WordPress Dashboard whe bbPress is activated #73150MoJo68ParticipantThanks LMH86. Just a question: Where is your website hosted ?
Support team, any suggestions I can try ?
MoJo68ParticipantI solved it by deleting the changes I made in wp-config file and .htaccess to increase the php memory limit trying to solve another issue. Seemingly iPage (where my site is hosted) doesn’t allow to make changes to memory allocations.
Thanks.MoJo68ParticipantHi. I am having the same issue. I did the permalinks save changes and no luck.
Most of my pages now show 404 error, examples

Thanks.August 14, 2015 at 17:34 in reply to: Cant Login to WordPress Dashboard whe bbPress is activated #73003MoJo68ParticipantI am having exactly the same issue. I can install the bbpress plug in but when I activate it I get internal server error 500 not allowing me to access my dashboard. Uninstalling bbpress through ftp client solves the issue but I would like to have forums on my site. I have upped my memory limits using your indications in the blog (http://seventhqueen.com/blog/code-snippets/increase-php-memory-limit-in-wordpress.html) but no luck. If you have found the solution, please share. Thank you.
MoJo68ParticipantThank you Laura. Indeed it was a small change in the functions.php of child theme. I will close the topic.
MoJo68ParticipantHi. Sorry for the delayed response. Probably it was a caching issue. Suddenly it appears as meant to be. Thank you.
MoJo68ParticipantHello. I am using Mac and found the respective blog also. I will try it out and let you know. Thank you for your support.
