    Did you for example see if there was any plugin that conflicted with the theme?

    Okay, I just updated it through a plugin, but I will do as you say, and download it to my computer and the upload it.
    But ANOTHER ISSUE!! I can’t even get into my site! So I ran Pingdom….It says 5,59 sec, but now I can’t get into my site at all. These are the reports from Pingdom:

    Hi Radu,
    thanks a lot for the video, but I think you misunderstood me…
    It is the MATCHING PERCENT CIRCLE that ends up on 50 % no matter if the members have similar hobbies etc. It ends up at 50 % on all members. That’s my setting if nothing matches in their profile fields.

    So, if you log in as Admin, and go to Admina, cause they have similar hobbies….but it ends on 50%.

    1. I deactivated child theme, but matching system didn’t work anyway.
    2. I updated Sweetdate, but matching system still doesn’t work, either with child theme deactivated or not.

    Yes, sorry.. I also had difficulties to login yesterday. So I logged in with my second admin account.. I get back to you with this in case I don’t make the matching system work.

    One question…Do you mean I should do the theme update while child theme is deactivated or do you mean that I should test the matching system with child theme deactivated after theme update??

    Very hard to say, ’cause I have no idea when it stoppad working.
    Haven’t made any changes that I can think of, except for some text updates on frontpage, new background images on frontpage…and regular updates.

    Please can you investigate in this issue? And hope it wont take another 48 hours ?, please ?..

    I don’t know why, but the Matching percent has stopped functioning. They all end up on 50 %.
    I filled in similar profile fields on two different accounts, but still they don’t match!

    Hello, I resolved it, thanks. It was a plugin conflict with Page Builder.

    Another thing:
    In The Profile area when the users are clicking in the menu below the cover image, they will get directed to the top of the page all the time. For example if they want to go and fill in the Profile fields, they will have to click on Profile and get directed to too of the page, scroll down again. Click on Edit and get directed to top of page again. Then they click on for example Hobbies and The will again end up on top of the page and then have to scroll down.

    I just got an email from a user who didn’t even find the Profile Fields, which I can understand.

    Is it supposed to be like this??
    Can you fix this, please?

    I think you still have my credentials if you could take a look att my checkout issue, I would be glad :-)…
    I deactivated all lately installed plugins, but it didn’t help.

    I just realized, that when I login to another user….It says: You are already logged in. For example…I logged in as Olli. But when I entered Profile, I am another user Evelina. Which means it doesn’t seem to recognize who is logged in…So it keeps asking to login or to register another account. And when logging in with another account, it says you are logged in already, which is not true.

    Anyway….Hope you can help

    I attach a screenshot of my level settings…

    I tried to deactivate plugins one by one, but the problem remained.
    Also I deactivated the whole Cache-plugin, but still it didn’t help.

    PENDING USERS
    I see..But does it mean they never pressed the link in their email to activate their account? Maybe they changed their mind? If I activate them, then it will never be confirmed if their email-adresses are correct..??

    USERS > EDIT
    I have manually changed a not paying member to a 12 month membership (for free). But I am not sure what the last check-option means (see attached pic) Could you please explain a bit easier?

    PAYMENT ISSUE
    A user just contacted me about a payment problem.
    At the checkout page, the chosen membership level doesn’t show and not the amount either. Just 0.00 SEK.
    Then it says: “Please login or register a new account”, even though the user is logged in.

    What can this depend on?
    I just changed my prices the other day, so I thought I might have missed something. But I have checked all settings and everything and seems fine.

    PENDING USERS
    I just checked Panel > Users. I have quite a few “pending” users. I have the possibility to “activate” those users. How come these users are “pending” and should I activate them if they are pending?

    1- If they cancel before due date, they are not charged
    2- If they do not have money, there is a renewal email and a suspension
    What exactly do you mean by RENEWAL EMAIL?
    3- If they choose a monthly level, they will pay each month, if they cancel before due date, they are not charged. If they select a 3 month level, they are charged right away the 3 month price.
    Sorry, I might have explained my question badly. If I offer for example a “3 month’s membership level” with recurring subscription with withdrawal every month (instead of one time payment for the whole period of time), and the member cancels after about, let’s say, 1 month. Will the member still be charged for the rest of the 3 month period?

    I have one monthly price for 3 months, a better monthly price for 6 months and an even better monthly price for 12 months. If, for example, a 12 months member cancels after, let’s say, 6 months, I still want them to pay for the whole comitted period of 12 months. Otherwise there is no point of cheaper price when assigning for 12 months, right?
    Do you get my point and my question now?

    What is your experience? Do most dating sites offer monthly payment if signing for 3, 6 or 12 months, or do most dating sites offer one time payment?

    1. So members can cancel one day before their membership gets prolonged, and then they will not be charged for new period?

    I am about to change to recurring subscription from one time payment, but I am concerned about lack of money on members bank accounts. How does it work?
    2. If money is not on their bank account at withdrawal date…will there be any automatic reminder email going to the member, that is included?? I currently use Stripe.

    3. If a member has chosen e.g. 3 months’ membership, and cancels after 2 months. Will he/she still get charged for the third month, right?

    4. I would like to have my datingsite as an app as well….Do you have any system for that? What would be the easiest way? Is it possible to convert a SweetDate site to an app, or is the way to rebuild everything into, for example, BuddyApp?

    Another thing:

    See attached pic. This blue menu background pops up when using a iPad! But not on Samsung Tab and only on my computer if I zoom in my screen to over 100%, and not on Mac.

    It looks really ugly on the Ipad, covering the eyes in the photo.
    The only blue settings are Header background and Breadcrumb. I have tried to check those blue settings off, but the blue menu background still appears anyway. There is nothing set to blue in menu.

    Any solution?

    Please Radu, you can answer them in diffeent tickets.
    If I copy everything now to put in same ticket, I will loose attachments and text formatting.
    I try to keep everything in same ticket, beleive me. I note my questions in a separate place and then I write it all in same ticket. But sometimes I forget something or I have new questions before you have answered the previos ones. This can absolutely happen during a weekend. I am to much in a hurry to resolve my issues, so I can’t wait with new questions until you have answered the previous ones, just because it’s weekend. I hope you understand.

    In my Paypal account it also says that I should fill in third party API username. What API username does PMP has?

    After a call with PayPal today (they continue beleive that something is wrong with the credit cards, but that is not the case) I started to cry. I wish somebody could help me with this…Can’t beleive this is happening. The PayPal staff isn’t even sure of anything. And techsupport doesn’t answer!

    But I have a question. I just got a link from Geotrust how to install the SSL seal. It says:

    Thanks very much :-)…
    The thing is PayPal Website Payments Pro is not supported from Sweden and PayPal Standard seem to be very “buggy”. Actually I get the same issue with my PayPal Express setting that many people do with PayPal Standard. But who knows? Maybe I should try? But I am fed up with issues, so I rather go for something better recommended than something with a lot of reported issues.

    So, just to make it clear….“IF” I want to use PayPal Express, is it then not enough to choose PayPal Express in the PMP Payment Settings?? Do I also have to update my PMP with 97 dollars to download the addon??

    Yes, I have filled everything in. And I have read your links….but I am confused….

    1. It worked in May but not now

    2. When I read about it, it seems like one has to use Braintree, Stripe, Authorize.net or Cybersource to be able to use PayPal Express. Then I must say that the settings in PMP payment settings should clearly show that. Instead there is a dropdown where you choose PayPal Express OR one of the others…That is VERY confusing! How should one know????
    And then…How come my PayPal Express setting worked well in May???

    3. Also, when I looked into PMP Addons, there is a PayPal Express addon, which seem to require an updating of licence, se attached screenshot…
    So PayPal Express is not a head gateway, it’s a second option at checkout??

    To clarify:
    Do I need to update my PMP license for 97 dollars to be able to download the PayPalExpress addon? Was it included in May, but now it requires an updating of PMP license?

    4. I just asked a friend to try payment with PayPal account. She uses Mac, and from my PC one can choose paying through PayPal account or pay by card. From her Mac there was no option to pay by card….?

    Hi Radu?….
    Well…sure..?

    Now when practically all seem to work well, I made a testregistering to check if all translations had worked well (which it hasn’t but I can’t be bothered about that for now). More frustrating is that the Payment function doesn’t work!!!
    It says “This transaction couldn’t be completed. please redirect your customer to PayPal”, se attached screenshot.
    I tried with different bank accounts, I also asked a friend…but we didn’t get further than this…
    I also generated new API signature and updated on Pmp Payment Settings. But still it doesn’t work.

    Are you familiar with this issue??
    It seemed to work well in May…but not now..
    I saw that pmp only offer free licence for only one site, so I deactivated the ones I have on my testdomains and copydomains, deactivated and reactivated pmp on maindomain, but it still doesn’t work.

    1. I’m happy I have the search form on Members Page and on Profile Page, but it also shows at Activate Page which is a little bit strange, as you cannot use it before you become a member. How can I remove search form from Activate page??

    2. Do you know if there is any way I can get background image also in mobile version? Or get an image to show only in mobile version but not in computer version??

    3. Laura helped me with a code to get my Register Form a little transparent and with other colors that was more suitable for the transparency. But still there is a green bottom border…..Is there any chance you could help me with an additional code/change of code to make it the same color as rest of the border?? (se attached pic)

    forget about last message! I found out! Finally I understand how Appearance > Widgets work.

    Now everything seem to work finally. Profile pic works!! Wohoooo! And thanks for the setting advice in Theme Options regarding missing membership levels!! Now that works as well!! THANK YOU!!

    2. What is the difference between Activity Directory and Activity Wall Direcory??

    Hi Radu – thanks!
    Now I got most of it translated. The reason why it didn’t translate was because I kept my WordPress-dashboard in English (to make support easier). Changing to Swedish also made all translations (almost) work.

    Anyway….Now I need my Searh form back on Profile page and on Members Page. I had problems to make this work at my origianl site as well. I know Laura had to go into my wp-admin and fix it. I have applied the shortcode on Members page….but it doesn’t show. How to put it in Profile area – I have no idea how to do that. Now there are “Latest comments”, Archive, Categories and Meta on the left sidebar. How do I get rid of that?

    Hello Radu, thanks. 🙂

    I didn’t download them from File Manager. I downloaded them directly from Loco Translate on my maindomain to my computer.

    Then my host removed all content except Loco Translate and some other plugins, at my maindomain,
    and then moved my site (that I rebuilt on a subdomain to make the profile pic work)from a subdomain to maindomain.

    But my translations were gone in Loco Translate settings. So I uploaded my translations (.mo and .po files) to File Manager. I uploaded “kleo_framework-sv_SE.mo” and “kleo_framework-sv_SE.po” to File Manager > wp-content > languages > themes,
    and “buddypress-sv_SE.mo” + “…po” and “paid-memberships-pro-sv_SE.po” + “…mo” to wp-content > languages > plugins

    So….it should work, no? Did I miss anything? What?
    Are the .mo and .po file names correct? Did I put them in the correct place??

    Thanks Radu, I’ll try that..

    Regarding .mo and .po files….I downloaded them…and now I have uploaded them to the “new” site in File Manager > wp-content > languages > themes/plugins. But still it doesn’t work….Is there anything else I need to do????
