YEs, you need to have child theme cuz I’ve made some Sweeydate Parent core file changes and the most reliable way it’s to use a child theme to can have all those changes even if you update the theme.
The theme settings are saved in the database, so they will not be deleted, but for any case you can save the theme settings from wp-admin -> theme options -> import/export -> Show export text -> copy the data and save it into a text document (notepad, etc.), the theme settings import can be performed from same tab but located under Import Options.
So my changes will not be loose on theme update since only the parent theme updates not the child!
That’s the whole idea of using a child theme.

Sincerely I don’t understand, the first solution from the reply #168724, it handles the container width for certain resolution, if this not what you need to achieve what’s ?To have layout boxed style? instead of wide? Or to have a wide layout but to have a limit after a certain width? ( see the example image below )

WE have a separate image dimension settings for the portfolio in wp-admin -> theme options -> portfolio.
Now the images are CLEAR, take a look, you can change the dimension that you need!

I need to be logged in to can view the member’s area of the website,
In the mobile, those columns cannot be fixed cuz will cover all content, but for the sidebar that it’s hidden, I need to inspect the page but I need an account.

Try to play with the resize Offset option from wp-admin -> theme options -> heder options

There it’s displayed only plain text, that’s the default way to can have only clean text there.
No specific setting or quick solution for that.

The cover photo and my profile it looks as if should with and without a cover photo.
If there are specific steps to follow let me know.
There it’s a vertical scroll just use a real mobile device or choose iPhone from the inspector emulator.

Please to do the next, go to wp-admin -> plugins -> deactivate, delete visual composer then de-activate and also delete the k-elements.Then go wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins -> install visual composer and k-elements, check again.
IF it’s the same, de-activate rest of the plugins except Visual Composer and K-elements

There is no quick solution to give like a CSS one, cuz this implies some modifications to the Javascript code, we will take this into consideration for future improvements.
If I found a workaround to this those days I will provide to you.
