Sounds like either a plugin conflict or your permalinks got screwed up. Resave your permalinks (you dont need to change them, just click save) and see if that doenst fix it.

As far as the shop slider, there’s really not much difference between that and the ‘home-default’ demo in the download file. Only the images are different. So import home-default.zip and edit as you like.

Inspect the page and go to network to see if rtMedia can find the /upload directory (that’s usually the issue). For more information on inspecting, see this: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/problems-with-login-tabs#post-31702

Also, go into your permalinks and click save. You dont have to change anything, just click save. In some cases, this will fix the issue.

There’s two places. One controls wordpress pages, the other controls buddypress pages.

No, that’s not “normal” Buddypress or bbPress functionality. Normal functionality is that they are open to non-logged in users, but things like private messaging are only available to registered/logged in users. If you want to add privacy to those pages, there are several plugins you can choose from. I know some people are using PMPro. Personally I use “Private Community for Buddypress”.

@splendor I use WinMerge. I just drop the latest kleo folder in there and the second to the last kleo folder in there. It will tell you what files changed. You can click on the file and it will bring up a side by side comparison of the two files and highlight the differences. Then I add those changes to whatever files I’ve copied over to my child theme (69 files and counting).

Okay, so you do know that there are two places to set that info, right? One if for WordPress pages and one is for Buddypress pages. If you only changed it on the WordPress pages, you wont see it on the Buddypress pages. The two places are

wp admin -> theme options -> buddypress
wp admin -> theme options -> header options

I tried the code I gave you and it does work. It adds a space.

I asked you how you were adding it so I could give you a way of doing it through css. If I would have taken your word for it and believed that it was a breadcrumb, my css would not have worked.

That wont work. I did that first, but the problem is that it will test true in the friends tab on a users profile, but the tab contains the loop, which you need. Does that make sense? (btw – I’m too lazy to test your code, so maybe I’m wrong)

Then just turn if off completely. WP Admin -> Theme Options -> Blog -> Display Post Meta. I wish you would have stated that early on.

According to the prettyPhoto docs, you should be able to open a pdf using iFrames. I’ve tried do it, even by initiating a custom prettyPhoto instance, but I get the same error. I think it has something do with the prettyPhoto being loaded in magnificPopup and the error is actually coming from that plugin and not prettyPhoto. So then I tested my own instance of magnificPopup and still couldnt get it to work.

The code I gave you will do that. Did you see my screenshot?

If you put my code in /kleo-child/functions.php and have Kleo Child enabled, it will work. It will even remove it when you’re using the post grid shortcode. The only place it wont remove it from this the actual post page.

Not sure how I’m going to handle it yet, but you could write your own function. So instead of bp_the_notification_links(), call custom_bp_the_notification_links() and do your own magic. I think instead of opening the notification when clicking on Read, I’ll just change the text to “Mark Read”.

By default, the members masonry should have the filter set to “Last Active” which will not display pending members since they have no ‘activity’ yet. If you switch that filter to Alphabetical, they will show up.

The members masonry only stylizes the buddypress member loop. So, if you want to filter out pending users no matter what filter is selected, you’ll have to modify the buddypress query. You should ask this question over on the Buddypress support forum.

Or you might be able to add a conditional check within the members loop in /kleo/buddypress/members-loop.php to check for activity before outputting the member.

If you cant find a plugin that will do that, then you’ll have to add a conditional check to the template files where it calls the_content (there are a lot of them). Off the top of my head it should be something like

If you dont set a featured image, kleo will automatically use the first image in the post contents for the widgets and home page. So instead of setting a featured image, use the Add Media button to add that image into the visual editor.

If you are adding it via Visual Composer, you can supply an “Extra class name”. Lets just say you call it icon_color. Then in your child css you can put

Hey umair. You should be using the child theme no matter what.

As far as the category pages go, I dont think you can turn them into regular pages.

With that said, you may be able to build your page using VC, then switch to classic view and copy the vc code into your child category page. I havent tested this, but I’ve done this with the registration page. Just put the vc code in a do_shortcode() call.
