We just installed WP Rocket on our website for the Sweet Date Theme. You are correct WP Rocket does increase the performance. We used http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ and http://gtmetrix.com to obtain our metrics for page speed.
We were wondering if you are using any of the caching features. Magnification works for HTML, Google Fonts, CSS and JS. However the caching is set to zero. So there is no improvement for loading times for people outside of your region. Have you worked with caching on WP Rocket. If so are you utilizing a CDN (Content Delivery Network)? I have attached a screen shot of our default homepage settings that uses SweetDate theme.

Where do you change what displays on the profile page for questions 1 and 2.
1. There is “About me”. How can change this text?
2. Under Users/Profile Fields i have 2 groups: “Myself summary” and Base (Primary). On profile page i only see the Base “About me” How can also show the “Myself summary”?
TammyWashingtonParticipantHello Laura,
We had another problem with accepting friend requests. After working with Andrei the solutions he suggested for correcting our inconsistent ssl settings solved this Contact Form 7 issue also. So after we deactivated any ssl options that we manually added to wp-config.php everything worked.
Thanks for your assistance.
Tammy
TammyWashingtonParticipantHello Laura,
We are sorry for the late response. When we saw the error we removed the code and came up with a different alternative. We just added a link else where on the homepage for user to signup. Thanks for you assistance.
Tammy
TammyWashingtonParticipantHello Andrei,
A long time ago I did modify the wp-config.php file and manually added FORCE_SSL_ADMIN. Once I removed this line then saved the new wp-config.php file the Friendship Requests worked both (sending/receiving). I have also added a proper plugin for SSL that does not seem to have any conflicts. Thanks for your help Andrei.
TammyWashingtonParticipantHello Andrei,
We disabled all plugins and and removed BuddyPress and bbPress. We reinstalled BuddyPress and bbPress. Then we enabled all of the additional plugins. At first a user could not send or receive a friendship request or join a group. Now user can send a friendship request and can join a group, however they CAN NON ACCEPT FRIENDSHIP REQUEST. When the accept button is clicked nothing happens.
Our FTP access to all websites is managed through another team and we can only access via an internal IP behind our firewall. Do you have the ability to remote into our network? I can give you access to one of our computers. We can be available anytime that is convent for you.
TammyWashingtonParticipantHello Andrel,
We just installed the updated SweetDate theme to version 2.8.1. Our PhP version is 5.4.31.
We have four major plugins installed. BuddyPress 2.2.0., bbPress 2.5.4, s2Member Framework Version 150203 + s2Member Pro v150203 and Event Espresso 4.6.6.p. The other plugins do not control permissions, groups our user classifications.User’s are still not able to Accept Friendship requests after upgrading to SweetDate version 2.8.1 and WordPress 4.1.1
TammyWashingtonParticipantHello Laura,
We have setup necessary options in SMTP Options under Settings. We are able to receive email notifications when a user registers on the website.
TammyWashingtonParticipantWe still have the same problem. Twitter is not Working. We preformed the following steps.
1. We used FTP and made the entire folder “oauth-twitter-feed-for-developers” and it’s subfolders and files with Read, Write, and Execute permissions (777).
2. We then removed the Twitter Widget.
3. Next we removed all of the Twitter information under:
Applications –> Contact Info & Social
Applications –> Miscellaneous4. We saved the Setting on Each page.
5. We then removed the old Twitter Keys and Generated new Keys on Twitter. These new Keys were add to the SweetDate Theme. And the setting were saved.
We are still not getting Twitter messages. Any suggestions?
TammyWashingtonParticipantAbe,
When people send us a Tweet they do not show on the website. We only get the following. See screen shot.

We are still not able to receive Twitter messages to the SweetDate site. What type of Permissions/Access do we need to have on Twitter? I have uploaded a screenshot of the choices.

I added the widget to the footer. However, we do not receive any tweaks from twitter.
TammyWashingtonParticipantThis issue is still unresolved. The site continue to break. We have spoken to the hosting provider Amazon and all of their WordPress installs grey out the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL). There must be another problem.
TammyWashingtonParticipantWe are having the same problem with the Sweet Date Theme. Site breaks then fixes….. In Settings – General – WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are greyed out. We do not understand the fix and are unable to resolve this problem.
