ParticipantHello gamerPro87,
We just installed WP Rocket on our website for the Sweet Date Theme. You are correct WP Rocket does increase the performance. We used http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ and http://gtmetrix.com to obtain our metrics for page speed.
We were wondering if you are using any of the caching features. Magnification works for HTML, Google Fonts, CSS and JS. However the caching is set to zero. So there is no improvement for loading times for people outside of your region. Have you worked with caching on WP Rocket. If so are you utilizing a CDN (Content Delivery Network)? I have attached a screen shot of our default homepage settings that uses SweetDate theme.

ParticipantHelo Steve, Laura
Where do you change what displays on the profile page for questions 1 and 2.
1. There is “About me”. How can change this text?
2. Under Users/Profile Fields i have 2 groups: “Myself summary” and Base (Primary). On profile page i only see the Base “About me” How can also show the “Myself summary”?

ParticipantHello Laura,
We had another problem with accepting friend requests. After working with Andrei the solutions he suggested for correcting our inconsistent ssl settings solved this Contact Form 7 issue also. So after we deactivated any ssl options that we manually added to wp-config.php everything worked.
Thanks for your assistance.

ParticipantHello Laura,
I copied the code for the header.php and general-login-modal.php to the server.
In the sweet date-child folder I added header.php then I created a subfolder called page-parts under the sweet date-child folder and added the general-login-model.php file.
I get an error. See the website: singlestwist.com

ParticipantHello Andrei,
A long time ago I did modify the wp-config.php file and manually added FORCE_SSL_ADMIN. Once I removed this line then saved the new wp-config.php file the Friendship Requests worked both (sending/receiving). I have also added a proper plugin for SSL that does not seem to have any conflicts. Thanks for your help Andrei.

ParticipantHello Laura,
I am unable to provide ftp access. The engineers only allow ftp access from our internal network. Can you remote into my computer or can you provide code?
Thank you for assisting me.

ParticipantI created a folder named page-part in the sweet date child theme. Then I copied the file general-login-modal.php into the folder and made the recommended edits. The page gets redirected but now you have to click on the button twice. Please see my website: http://singlestwist.com Did I do something incorrectly. I have added the coded for my changes below for the two files. Thanks for helping me with this.
Below is a snippet of code for general-login-modal.php
<div id=”register_panel” class=”reveal-modal”>
<div class=”row”>
<div class=”twelve columns”>
<h5><i class=”icon-user icon-large”></i> <?php _e(“SIGN INTO YOUR ACCOUNT”, ‘kleo_framework’);?><?php if(get_option(‘users_can_register’)) { ?> <span class=”subheader right small-link”><?php _e(“CREATE NEW ACCOUNT”, ‘kleo_framework’);?></span><?php } ?></h5>
</div>Below is a snippet of code for the header.php
<?php else: ?>
<li class=”header-login-button”><i class=”icon-user hide-for-medium-down”></i> <?php _e(“LOG IN”, ‘kleo_framework’); ?>
<?php if(get_option(‘users_can_register’)) { ?>
<li class=”header-register-button”><i class=”icon-group hide-for-medium-down”></i> <?php _e(“SIGN UP”, ‘kleo_framework’); ?>
<?php } ?><?php endif; ?>

ParticipantThanks Laura, Also I have another question about another problem that you corrected for someone else in the forum. Should I post the problem there or can I ask you here?

ParticipantI was trying to get you access to our sFTP account on the development server. I was told that we can only utilize sFTP by utilizing our Internal network address. The firewall rules do not allow outside users. Can I share my desktop or do you have another way of checking. It seems as thou the file would be the same. We just do not know which file to change.
TammyWashington
ParticipantIf you click on the signup button it will take you to our pricing table page. When a user click on Log In then Create A New Account button we would like the link to be directed to our pricing table page. This is the link to our production website: singlestwist.com
I can give you access to our development website.

ParticipantHello Andrei,
We disabled all plugins and and removed BuddyPress and bbPress. We reinstalled BuddyPress and bbPress. Then we enabled all of the additional plugins. At first a user could not send or receive a friendship request or join a group. Now user can send a friendship request and can join a group, however they CAN NON ACCEPT FRIENDSHIP REQUEST. When the accept button is clicked nothing happens.
Our FTP access to all websites is managed through another team and we can only access via an internal IP behind our firewall. Do you have the ability to remote into our network? I can give you access to one of our computers. We can be available anytime that is convent for you.

ParticipantHello Andrel,
We just installed the updated SweetDate theme to version 2.8.1. Our PhP version is 5.4.31.
We have four major plugins installed. BuddyPress 2.2.0., bbPress 2.5.4, s2Member Framework Version 150203 + s2Member Pro v150203 and Event Espresso 4.6.6.p. The other plugins do not control permissions, groups our user classifications.User’s are still not able to Accept Friendship requests after upgrading to SweetDate version 2.8.1 and WordPress 4.1.1

ParticipantHello Laura,
We have setup necessary options in SMTP Options under Settings. We are able to receive email notifications when a user registers on the website.

ParticipantWe still have the same problem. Twitter is not Working. We preformed the following steps.
1. We used FTP and made the entire folder “oauth-twitter-feed-for-developers” and it’s subfolders and files with Read, Write, and Execute permissions (777).
2. We then removed the Twitter Widget.
3. Next we removed all of the Twitter information under:
Applications –> Contact Info & Social
Applications –> Miscellaneous4. We saved the Setting on Each page.
5. We then removed the old Twitter Keys and Generated new Keys on Twitter. These new Keys were add to the SweetDate Theme. And the setting were saved.
We are still not getting Twitter messages. Any suggestions?
TammyWashington
ParticipantAbe,
When people send us a Tweet they do not show on the website. We only get the following. See screen shot.
TammyWashington
ParticipantWe have changed our follow directory and made it writable.
/sweetdate/framework/inc/oauth-twitter-feed-for-developers
We are still not able to receive Twitter messages to the SweetDate site. What type of Permissions/Access do we need to have on Twitter? I have uploaded a screenshot of the choices.
TammyWashington
ParticipantHi Laura,
I added the widget to the footer. However, we do not receive any tweaks from twitter.

ParticipantThis issue is still unresolved. The site continue to break. We have spoken to the hosting provider Amazon and all of their WordPress installs grey out the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL). There must be another problem.
TammyWashington
ParticipantIn Settings – General – WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) the lines are are greyed out. They have the following information:
http://www.singlestwist.com
http://www.singlestwist.comWhen I look at the wp-config.php file I have the following lines add.
define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘http://’ . $_SERVER[‘HTTP_HOST’] . ‘/’);
define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘http://’ . $_SERVER[‘HTTP_HOST’] . ‘/’);Will adding adding the above two lines cause this problems with the CSS on the homepage?
TammyWashington
ParticipantWe are having the same problem with the Sweet Date Theme. Site breaks then fixes….. In Settings – General – WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are greyed out. We do not understand the fix and are unable to resolve this problem.
