Hello,
I followed that topic, but I didn’t have it active. I don’t understand that part. If I activate Child Theme, doesn’t that mean that the normal Kleo theme is de-activated, since you can only have 1 theme active at the time? That’s not really a solution since activating the Child Theme would mean that I lose everything else, right?
ww2boyParticipantYes… I did that.
I read your reply weeks ago, but all the motivation to reply/give an update was gone. I have asked for help several times here, and every time:1) You either replied very late (like in this case; it took you 1 week to reply)
2) And when you finally reply, it is not a helpful a reply. It’s always a short ”have you looked at this yet?” with no further explanation, nothing.I did my best to describe my problem, I gave you the code, screenshots.
So this problem still exists. The problem is in the CSS styling. Again; please look at the information provided. There is a code. And a screenshot. Using that code results in the ”error” which you can see on the screenshot. What do I need to change to make that ”error” go away?
That’s all.
ww2boyParticipant*Sigh*
More problems which I can not explain:
– there seems to be some weird caching problem. Even after disabling the WP Super Cache plugin, logging out, removing Chrome cookies, logging back in, the website doesn’t seem to refresh. Old data is disabled until you logout & login again.
– Suddenly, the homepage doesn’t display for logged out users. A ”error 404” page is displayed instead of the homepage. And I haven’t disabled the homepage for guests, anyone can view it. When I am logged in, the homepage shows the correct page/slider etc.
– I uploaded a new logo & enabled the sticky menu option. But the logo in the sticky menu is the default Sweet Date logo, not my custom logo. If you scroll back up (when sticky menu is gone), it shows my custom logo.
I have no idea how to solve these issues. I just spent 5-6 hours trying to fix an extremely annoying bug (not really related to this theme, but it is partially related to the caching problem)… without success.
Very stressful.
ww2boyParticipantAlso: How do I add a registration form to the revolution slider / front page? I imported the revolution sliders from the demo content (with forms according to the title of those sliders), but the forms were not included :P.
ww2boyParticipantHello,
Thank you for your quick reply. Instructions are clear.
Screenshot of gray boxes:
ww2boyParticipantHello,
There is also something else (just encountered):
Some layers/images I add to the revolution slider show up as gray boxes, or they have grey box behind them. I’ve tried to find a solution, but without success.
The default ”Parallex Slider” that is filed under Demo Content has the same problem (the boat & palm trees show up as gray boxes).
ww2boyParticipantHell,
I solved the the ”header image shadow” problem.
I just added the code to rtMedia custom css box, and it worked :).
ww2boyParticipantLooks like someone was trying to break into the wp-admin, but it was blocked by a security plugin. Updated it and everything looks fine. Weird.
ww2boyParticipantHello,
Did you change something about my website? A few minutes ago, everything looked fine. Now the website is messed up.
ww2boyParticipantOk, I solved the re-direct issue, so that’s good.
But the other problem (message that user is already logged in when they are not) still exists.
Also, how do I change the ”cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser” error when trying to login? ‘”WordPress” is mentioned in that message and I would like to get rid off that :).ww2boyParticipantAlso, is it possible to edit the ‘reigster’ page? I’d like to add a ‘Already have an account? Sign In here’ link or something similar. I’d like to change/add some the fields as well, but I believe that’s related to BuddyPress – is there a plugin you recommend?
ww2boyParticipantWell, now I can’t even access the backend (wp-admin) even if I login via the direct link… I am constantly redirected to the page not found (404) page!
ww2boyParticipantOk, I solved the login issue.
But the other problem still exists: if I login to my admin account via the frontend using the login pop-up, I can’t access the backend (have to use a direct link).
ww2boyParticipantCould someone help please, I am kinda stuck right now. My entire website is broken, nothing is working the way it should. The login system that comes with the Kleo theme is not functioning correctly either. Whenever I log in, I am not redirected to the WordPress dashboard/backend, and when I try to go to the backend via the direct link after logging in, I am redirected to the 404 Page.
SSL isn’t working on all pages either (insecure content, can’t fix it, don’t know what’s causing it).
This is frustrating.
ww2boyParticipantAnd there is also a second menu on the Kleo demo website, top of the website where Facebook+Twitter links are displayed, plus buttons to login /register. I’d like to have this one on all pages (except the homepage) as well.
(I’ll look try to find the answers in the documentation, like the previous question with the attachment, I just post everything here in case I can’t find the answer myself. If I do find the answer, I’ll just update the thread 😀 ).
ww2boyParticipantOk, I solved the previous issue.
New question 😛 :
– Is it possible to import the footer content from the demo website? (Not really necessary though)
– Some of the pictures from the demo website are displayed extremely large (or not) on my website (after importing demo content). What could be causing this?
– On the demo website, there are 2 different logo styles of ”Kleo”. For example, on the default homepage, the logo (text) is white, while on other pages the logo is black and the menu background white, menu text black. How do I achieve this? 🙂
That’s all! 😀
ww2boyParticipantHey
I uploaded the theme demo content, but it’s not showing like on the kleo demo website.
I see this error multiple times:How do I fix this issue?
Attachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.ww2boyParticipantHello,
Thanks for your reply. I have activated the plugin, but I don’t know how all the elements work yet, or what they do. That’s why I like to install the demo first.
For example; on the demo website, you have this image of a girl as a background, with text animation + call to action button. I’ve been trying to figure out how to create something similar, but without success.
How do I import and upload the demo content? Is there a specific file? Is there documentation/faq on how to use the different elements etc. ?
🙂
ww2boyParticipantThere is a documentation folder, but what am I looking for? What is the documentation file called? Is it stored under the ”Documentation Folder” because I can’t find it there.
