Thanks, Laura. I already have it setup that way, but I am getting bogus users showing up in the Activity Stream. I have turned on ReCaptcha. Is there anything else I can do to stop spam/non-paid users besides this and what you have suggested?
zafariParticipantThis issue happened for me yesterday too and I had no idea what was going on until my host identified the specific PHP error message after HOURS of researching on their part. Please inform us immediately when the update is ready to correct this problem. Thanks!
zafariParticipantHello Andrei,
Can you please remove my login details that I forgot to mark as private above? I have since changed the credentials but just in case….
Also, the Resources page brings up the blog and it is painfully slow. Even if the rest of the site has gotten to be tolerable, this page is simply not acceptable. I have lowered it to post only 6 posts and it still takes many seconds to load even 1. What can be done to improve the performance of this page?

zafariParticipantThanks anyway, Andrei. I guess I’m on my own since it’s too convenient to blame it on my server. Whether it is or is not my server still does not explain why the dramatic performance change happened ONLY after upgrading to 3.0.1. Nothing changed on the server – it was the same before as it was after.
zafariParticipantActually, I just moved it from the child theme’s CSS file to the Quick CSS field on Theme Options>General and now it works. Why is this?
zafariParticipantStill not working. Other ideas?

I have run phpinfo and verified that the memory limit settings are being changed successfully. I hate to be a pest, but I’m telling you the speed was fine before I upgraded to 3.0.1. All the speed optimization things I have done were afterwards…..Other ideas as to what changed in 3.0.1 that could be affecting the speed?
zafariParticipantHello = as a followup to my earlier reply, when I place the code in the Quick CSS field in Theme Options>General, it does work if I add !important on the background color field. However, the hamburger bars do not show up. I added more CSS to get them to appear so that works now. However, the drop-down menu colors are now not working. I wanted my background to be white, but the menu is then white on white so it’s not working. How can I change the text color of the drop-down menu items?
zafariParticipantHEllo – thanks for the suggestion. However, it’s not working. I placed it in the child theme’s CSS file but the mobile header bar is still black, as you can see in the attached screenshot. Any other ideas?

You must be logged in to view attached files.zafariParticipantHello and thank you. I am already using some of these and will try the others. However, this does not help explain why the sluggishness only started AFTER the upgrade to 3.0.1. One second I had decent load times and then a few seconds later after the upgrade, the site started crawling. These suggestions are unrelated to this……
zafariParticipant@rasmusberg my server was set to 128M so I bumped it to 512M in .htaccess (doing it in wp-config did nothing) and I have seen a noticeable improvement. It’s still not enough, but it shaved off a few seconds for sure. 🙂
zafariParticipant@5high-photohub I’m assuming you tried WP-SuperCache and determined that Zen Cache works better?
zafariParticipant@rasmusberg thanks for the memory limit trick! I do not yet know what my server imposes but I will check into it and give this a try!
zafariParticipantThank you SO much for the ‘long-winded’ response, @5high-photohub!! I really appreciate your taking the time to provide so much detail – lots to try here! I hope SeventhQueen can take a cue from you in providing support on this loading time issue! 🙂 Best to you…..
zafariParticipant@5high-photohub aand @rasmusberg – did you find a comprehensive resolution to the loading time issue? My page load times were tolerable thanks the query string removal suggestion, UNTIL I upgraded to version 3.0.1 and things started crawling again. I already have caching plugins, image optimizers, etc but it is not acceptable yet. Any ideas?
June 16, 2015 at 00:59 in reply to: How do I sovle this query issues due to the stings with "?" #63035zafariParticipantThank you for posting this!!!!! I used the same code and have seen a dramatic improvement in my page load times. I would have never found this otherwise…. 🙂
zafariParticipantI have the same black bar issue on my mobile site. When I can get it to change to white, the hamburger menu is invisible. Why isn’t there a way to easily control the mobile menu colors in the new update? I have used Raju’s CSS Quick Fix but it is not working. Where can I easily modify the header background color please?
zafariParticipantHello – I would like to see the resolution to this issue as well, as I have the same issue. In general, how does one modify the format of the Membership Levels page? When I go to the PMPro website, I am asked to purchase a membership there before I can look around in the support forums. Since this came with KLEO, how do we access their support system?
zafariParticipantI deactivated all the plugins and it’s still not working. The button code is correct. Any other ways to troubleshoot what’s causing the conflict?
zafariParticipantSure! Here you go:

Thanks!
zafariParticipantSwitching to Kleo parent did not make a difference. Do you want to login and check it out?

zafariParticipantKleo is the current version so everything should be up to date. I haven’t done hardly anything in my child theme except a few CSS tweaks you provided. I will try switching to the parent theme temporarily and see if there’s a difference….
zafariParticipantNope. I have cleared the cache and it is still showing the sidebar. Internally the sidebar is set to None and the template is set to Full Width. WP SuperCache has caching turned OFF. Other ideas please?
