Please update bundled plugins
Plugins like Visual composer and Revolution Slider, which are premium plugins bundled in our theme, will get updates from SeventhQueen trough our own update system.
Just go to Appearance – Install Plugins and check to see if plugins updates are available and to update them. It should be a relatively easy process.
I updated the Kleo to 4 but the Visual Composer is asking for a licence key in order to update through new kleo update interface. And without the update, I can not edit or see the new demo pages that come with the theme update.
You can see the attached file.

I have the exact the same issue. The “Everything” string does not translate in the website. The line is below:
# @ buddypress
#: buddypress/activity/index.php:75 buddypress/groups/single/activity.php:10
#: buddypress/members/single/activity.php:24
msgid “Everything”
msgstr “Tümü”alvedonParticipantI disabled all the plugins and then enabled them one by one, it seems that the w3 Total Cache minify settings were messing with the site. I changed the settings and now the site works fine. Thanks for your advice and help.
alvedonParticipantOk I got it, it works on your side. But it needs to work here too. Where should I look to find the solution, any ideas? I mean is this about the site, plugins or the server? i have to narrow it down in order to find the solution.
alvedonParticipantYou proving that it works does not solve my problem, because I still see the same problem. I tried on different browsers, different computers but still got the same result. I can not understand how you got another result. I tested the site with the same username I gave you, no change at all. What is different that you use and see than me in this case?
alvedonParticipantThis topic is not resolved @Sharmastr, please change it to in progress. You can not label topics according to your mind, the problem is not solved.
alvedonParticipantIf there is a problem with the plugins shouldn’t you also see the same problem? How is it possible that you see a full page working and I dont? This doesnt make any sense.
alvedonParticipantYes I did. I was using chrome and now I checked with Safari and still no luck. Could that be related to the ios I am using?
alvedonParticipantOk this is weird. As much as it is a huge relief to see the site works (thank you for that) I still see the not working version of the site. I cleared all the cached content, made a master flush within the server and still no luck. Do you have any idea as to what am I doing wrong here?
alvedonParticipantI updated the K elements through the Wp dashboard but as for the visual composer I can not seem to succeed.
Re-download the theme from Themeforest. You will find the .zip archive under the main package downloaded from Themeforest under Plugins folder.
There is no plugins folder or anything related to visual composer for that matter in the theme file.
alvedonParticipant@sharmstr oh ok high way preference is fine with me 🙂
btw now that I found you, could you please look at my topic in forums, I am really dying to find a solution, the site practically turned into nothing with this problem.

alvedonParticipantHi,
I have just visited your site but it looks fine? Pages open up quickly and everything seems fine.
alvedonParticipantIt looks like most of the questions here are related to the restriction access to non members. Anyways, there is a simple solution for that: Members Only plug in.
alvedonParticipantAddition to the previous post: Besides from the members and groups lists are not showing, anything on the site that should be listed is not showing, e.g messages, the users who are following etc.
To simplify:
http://www.sitename.com/members –> page opens but not showing the members list (“showing x number of groups” indication is visible)
http://www.sitename.com/groups –> page opens but not showing the groups list
http://www.sitename.com/members/username/messages –> page opens but not showing the messages
http://www.sitename.com/members/username/following –> page opens but not showing the list of followersBy the general logic, the root of the problem should be the same but I don’t have enough knowledge to determine the root of the problem and solve it.
Do you have any idea or can you give me some details on where to look for that problem, i.e which file? This is kind of a urgent problem so if you can look into it, really appreciate it.
Thanks.alvedonParticipantHi,
When you log in to the site with your admin account and go to messages>create, there is an option that says “this is a notice to all users”. You can use that option to send the same messages to all users.
alvedonParticipantHi,
You should use BP Profile Search Plug in for that. You can add as many field as you like and determine which fields can be changed by the users and which can not.
alvedonParticipantHi,
I dont know about the pop up thing but to restrict access to non members you can use Members Only plug in.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-members-only/alvedonParticipantI updated the BP plugin. I am aware that making researches about the theme is my responsibility since you can not phone every customer about this warnings. So, I am not trying to shift the blame here. However, this is not clear to me as to for how long should I use the child theme. Only for beforehand changes I made on the site, or is it ok to use the child theme while the site goes live and actual users use it. If the answer to latter is yes, then a child theme must be a huge deal for all the theme developers and for you (not you personally, KLEO team). You should write paragraphs about how to use a child theme, importance of the child theme etc, instead of just warning the customers with a few sentence. Because all of your updates and fixing problems depend on that condition. Again, I accept that it is my responsibility but you should be aware that all of your customers are not WP experts and they do make mistakes or overlook things.
Anyway, if you could lead me with the code I should change, that would be great.
alvedonParticipantAt this moment I can not update the theme since I had no prior knowledge of a child theme when I installed the theme and now my site is live and running, making all these changes all over again and starting from scratch is out of the question for me. If I had known that child theme stuff before hand, I would have made the necessary changes, but now it is not possible for me.
If you have any other solutions other than updating the theme (e.g changing some codes) I would appreciate that.
alvedonParticipantOh I am sorry, are you under the impression that Kleo is a plugin like BP or a whole infrastructure like WP that require a child theme beforehand in order to update? Or do you assume that a purchased theme is exactly like a free infrastructure or a free plugin? And yes when I purchase a product I expect it to ‘work’, that is the underlying logic of buying something.
You really must watch your tone, you are not here to needle the customers who obviously need help about the product.
alvedonParticipantI can not update the theme because I havent used the child theme and frankly nor KLEO itself or the wordpress community did not warn me about the usage of the child theme and the upgrades. Besides, when I purchased the theme, I expected that it would work 100%. Anyway, Is there any local fix for that without upgrading the whole theme? I mean could i change some code lines and fix that?
