Hi Laura, is this something you or someone on the team can do? I emailed for a quote twice over the past two weeks and never got a reply.
dsnicheParticipantHi Laura, I’ve been told that opening/closing the profile groups makes the page jump around on mobile, so I’d like to hide the dot please. If you could let me know how, that would be great. π
dsnicheParticipantThanks Laura! They worked.
Just one thing though. The toggle is still enabled, but only when I click on the little dot before the subheading of the profile fields. Because the dot is small it might not be a problem. But is that how it’s supposed to work?
dsnicheParticipantThe way “About” and “My Photos” are shown at the top.
Sorry! Had no idea the link was for the main demo page.

dsnicheParticipantYou’re right, I just saw the option to restrict rtMedia. I missed that before. Thanks Laura, that’s the perfect solution.
dsnicheParticipantHi Laura,
You said “by default its expanded, but you can hide the icon so nobody can show less” β you’re referring to the toggle display and not accordion, right? If so then yes, I’d like to hide the icon so all the profile fields are always displayed.
Could you also look into this thread? Same problem with this one I guess, haven’t seen any response from a moderator for a long time. Thanks Laura! π
dsnicheParticipantdsnicheParticipantdsnicheParticipantThanks Laura, I missed that subnav item. I’ve added directions to edit profile picture in my welcome email for new members.
Btw, I have 2 support questions from 3 weeks ago and I haven’t received any response from the support team about them. Could you please look into them?
dsnicheParticipantHello? It’s been 3 weeks since I posted this topic and I haven’t had any response.

dsnicheParticipantHi admins, this question is not resolved. Is there a way to hide a certain profile group from the Buddypress Profile tab? I’d appreciate some help. Thank you.
dsnicheParticipantHmmm I don’t remember marking this as resolved. Is there a way to make it so the profile fields canβt be hidden?
dsnicheParticipantI managed to get the counter to display in the center by using the CSS you provided and adding shortcode to the Page, like so:
[kleo_one]
[kleo_status_icon type=”total” subtitle=”Members”]
[/kleo_one]
Thanks for your help, Laura!
dsnicheParticipantI think you misunderstand my question because that’s not what I’m trying to accomplish, but thanks anyway.
dsnicheParticipantI use a premium plugin called BuddyBlock. It costs $29 and you can get it here: http://www.philopress.com/products/buddyblock/
dsnicheParticipantI’ve changed the class from “accordion” to “toggle” in profile-loop.php so all the profile details are shown by default and the user can click the section title to toggle it open/close. Is there a way to make it so the profile fields can’t be hidden?
dsnicheParticipantI attached a screenshot after adding the code. Is there a way to make the corners the same for both buttons? Both rounded or both sharp? Thanks Radu.

After some testing, I found that adding the code to center the member counter had a very strange effect. I couldn’t click on the “join us” button! When I click the button, nothing happens. It doesn’t change color on hover and most importantly it doesn’t take me to the Register page no matter how many times I click.
dsnicheParticipantHi Radu, thanks for the response. How do I see how the theme would look like in demo?
dsnicheParticipantPerfect!
One more thing, is there a way to add a thousand separator? The number now says “1340” β can I change this to “1,340” with a comma?
Thank you Laura. π
dsnicheParticipantThanks Laura! I’m a little confused because that’s the same code that you gave me before, but for some reason it works now. π
dsnicheParticipantHi Radu,
Unfortunately that didn’t work either. I wouldn’t mind changing both buttons instead if we can’t add the rounded corners back.
What CSS code do I use to change the styling of all buttons? Like with the code you just gave me it’s “div#send-private-message” to change the private message button…what code do I use to change both buttons?
Also, if I want to move the buttons to another location within the blue profile area at the top of the profile page, what’s the file that I should edit?
Thank you.
dsnicheParticipantHi Laura,
There’s the same problem on the profile page when I opened it with Safari on an iPhone. It’s the same on any profile, just scroll down to the profile details section and expand the tabs.
On desktop there’s still the problem of the profile section text bleeding into the sidebar. This is not a problem on mobile because the sidebar is not actually beside the profile details on mobile.
Thank you.
dsnicheParticipantThanks Radu! That worked.
But one small problem is the shape of the button changed and now the corners are not rounded. Strange. I can see the CSS code is only supposed to change the color…
I attached a screenshot. I removed the public message button, btw, and added a block button instead.

A screenshot is attached. I’ve made “Profile” my main Buddypress tab. If I go to “Messages” or “Settings” tab then the profile tabs appear again in the top blue profile area.

I just made the window smaller and that was what showed up on screen. I didn’t have to change the window size from full screen to see the text from the profile fields bleeding into the sidebar though.
