    I’ve wasted so much time by explaining you the same problem a dozen times…..

    1.I can see that you haven’t been logged in recently and there’s no such thing like a 404-error.
    2. Maintenance Mode is not the problem; you can switch it off temporarily as I gave you the login credentials.

    3. The problem is quite simple: Home-Register is NOT LOADING! It’s been overridden by Buddypress default login. How difficult is that to understand?

    4. Your theme is slow and buggy and customer service is horrible; we’ve been discussing this for more than 1 week…. No simple fix?

    Maintenance mode is not the problem. Even switched off it doesn’t work (!).

    Please remove all my replies. I’m going to ask someone else.

    To make it clear:

    1. Site is made private:
    The first page that you see when you go to scooblrnetwork.com is Kleo’s LOGIN page (because site is for members only).

    2. Below the module you see the “register” -link.

    When you click that link it’s redirecting to Kleo’s registration page: http://scooblrnetwork.com/register.

    It’s not loading http://scooblrnetwork.com/home-register; when you go to this link you will see that Kleo’s register is OVERRIDING home-register page.

    The problem that I’m trying to understand you is your home-register page layout is not loading.

    I’ve tried several options for more than one week but nothing is working.

    Question:
    1.Can you make it work, can you do the right configurations?
    2. Or better: replace KLEO’s current separate login and registration by just ONE login and registration page! It will make theme more professional and not wordpress like.

    Hello Radu,

    I’ve followed your instructions but couldn’t make it work.
    I’ve just sent you an email with login credentials. Pls check.
    Hopefully you can do the proper configurations, because I’m struggling with this problem for almost a week?

    See screenshots; Buddypress settings and settings of Redirection plugin.

    (Why do we have to use the Redirection plugin?)

    I’m working on the same problem for over a couple of days and I’m completely fed up with this.

    The tutorial is not clear. I’ve searched through this forum and Google but couldn’t find the right solution.

    The problem is that KLEO Register.php is overriding page home-register.

    KLEO-Developers:
    Please give us a crystal clear tutorial with screenshots or videoclip for setting up Home-Register as the primary registration page.

    (I don’t want Home-register as the Frontpage ; because it makes the new register page as the Homepage.).

    Kleo advised to use this redirection plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/ and that’s it….

    We need clear instructions; examples:

    1. In dashboard > Settings > Buddypress > Pages > Register field: select “Register” or “Home Register”?

    2. In Redirection plugin:
    Redirects > Source URL: “http://mydomain/register” or “http://mydomain/home-register”?
    Target URL: “http://mydomain/home-register” or “http://mydomain/register”

    I did several combinations but nothing works!

    Also my submenus stopped working after updating Buddypress and Kleo

    Hi Abe,

    I’ve installed Kleo 4.02 and activated it from dashboard > themes > activated new theme.

    All plugins were up to date.

    Hello,

    I’ve just updated the theme to the latest version and to my big surprise all my cover images on profiles, groups, etc. are gone! What happened?

    What changes have you made to the theme and how do I restore the lost cover images?

    Hey Radu,

    In order to check whether it’s plugin related or not, I would like to know what changes you have made to the Kleo-theme.

    Best

    Hey Laura,

    I’ve just found out that it’s a browser related problem.

    The submenu / dropdown menu problems only occurs on Firefox. No problem on either Chrome and Safari.

    Do you have a fix for this. I’m using the latest theme.

    (By the way: I didn’t have this problem on versions before Kleo 3.0…. (guess 2.5…..); so this might be theme related?).

    Keep posted,

    Erland.

    Hey Laura,

    I’ve found 2 problems after update from 3.0.3 to 3.0.4:

    1. Site was loading very slowly; just like same situation after update to 3.0.3 with the Envato API-code error. You suggested to use kleo-theme-update-fix.zip.

    2. The dropdown menus stopped working in my header menu. It only displays after 5-10 mins (???).. > looks like loading script problem? This quite new and happened after the update to 3.0.4.

    I guess somehow it’s trying to load a script (Envato???). So I replaced class-envato-protected-api.php and class-pixelentity-themes-updater.php in kleo-framework, by the scripts unzipped from Kleo-theme-update-fix.zip. The site is now loading much faster, as normal.

    The problem that’s still left now are the dropdown menus that stopped working and only loads after 5-10 mins.

    Do you have older Kleo versions so I can test it if the problems are related with the theme updates?

    Thank You!

    I got it!

    Found the controller “Enable Full width Group Header” in Settings > Buddypress.

    You can close this topic.

    Hi Sharmstr,

    No I don’t have.
    Can you provide me the css-codes that I have to implement in custom css?

    Thank you!

    Hey Sharmstr,

    I’ve found the problem; it’s related with this code .profile-cover-inner

    Fixed it by adding this to style.css:

    body.is-user-profile .profile-cover-inner {display:none;}

    Now the thin cover is gone and all buttons are working back again.

    Hello Sharmstr,

    I do have some custom code in it, but when I remove this code the same happens. So something else might be the problem.

    Any idea?

    Thank You!

    Update 2:

    Forgot to mention that this also occurs when all plugins are switched off. I guess there’s something wrong with Kleo 2.4.3. This didn’t happen on version 2.4.2.

    Update:
    I’ve switched off all the plugins except for the Buddypress core plugins…… no effect; no activity stream visible on Firefox only.

    I’m using Kleo 2.4.3. Is this theme having problems with Firefox?

    Found another more easy way. No coding.

    In your dashboard:
    Go to Users > Your Profile > uncheck “Show Toolbar when viewing site”.

    Hey guys,

    I’ve found the trick.

    Add this code into your functions.php of your child-theme:

    add_filter(‘show_admin_bar’, ‘__return_false’);

    And you’re all set.

    Hey,

    I’ve de-activated all plugins except Kleo’s plugins but no “Create Group” button.
    This really happened after updating to the latest KLeo, WP and BP versions.

    Yes that works.

    But I rather prefer the “Create new Group Button”, why is this missing? Currently they don’t know how and where to create new groups because the button is missing now.

    I want that button back for my users.

    What was causing the problem within the child-theme, so I can remove that?

    Is there a way to display the Profile Groups as tabs just like the screenshot? So when you hit a tab the profile fields are displayed.

    You may disable plugins for testing.

    Regarding groups:

    When I hit, for example in the header menu the group tab, or in main navbar the group icon, it’s not displaying my groups anymore.

    I’ve used another Buddypress theme to make sure that’s not plugin related.

    But I’ve found the solution:

    I added this code to my function.php in my child theme and changed “depreciated” into “deprecated”, so one small typo can create alot of trouble 🙁

    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'load_buddypress_js' );
    function load_buddypress_js () {
    if (bp_is_group() || is_page( 'activity' )) {
    wp_enqueue_script('buddypress_query',plugins_url() . '/buddypress/bp-core/js/jquery-query.min.js',array("jquery"));
    wp_enqueue_script('buddypress_members',plugins_url() . '/buddypress/bp-core/js/widget-members.min.js',array("jquery"));
    wp_enqueue_script('buddypress_cookie',plugins_url() . '/buddypress/bp-core/js/jquery-cookie.min.js',array("jquery"));
    wp_enqueue_script('buddypress_scroll',plugins_url() . '/buddypress/bp-core/deprecated/js/jquery-scroll-to.min.js',array("jquery"));
    wp_enqueue_script('buddypress_js',get_template_directory_uri() . '/buddypress/js/buddypress.min.js',array("jquery"));
    }
    }

    I got this code from your link:

    https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/problem-on-one-server-only-cant-make-activity-comments#post-41420

    And now it’s working fine! So probably a typo error in your theme?
