Never mind about the first question regarding the navigation bar, I figured it out. But I still can’t figure out the second question.

Is there a setting for this?
Thanks!

I’m trying to learn how to do this, so I added code to the CSS to remove the extra padding, and was successful. Here is the code:
.kleocustomsection .template-page, .sidebar {
padding-top: 0 !important;
padding-bottom: 0 !important;
}However, I also tried to add code to change the font in the Login Widget. Right now you can’t see the font because it is the same color as the background. So I tried to make it white by adding this code, but was not successful. Here is the code I tried:
.kleocustomsection input#bp-login-widget-user-login {
width: 100% !important;
color: #fff !important;
}You mind telling me what I did wrong here?
Thanks for all your help. 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantOh I also forgot to point out that the width of the User Name and Password field are not the same. Can you make the width of the User Name field, the same width as the Password field please?
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHello @radu !
Cleaning up some of the styling issues before launching the site, and was hoping you could help me, please?
In the pictures attached you’ll see some styling issues in the “Community” section of the Home Page on my site. You can also see these styling issues when visiting the website itself.
Anyway, what I’m trying to do is get all the sections to line up with the same top margin (I drew the red line that spans across the top as an example), remove extra space between the content above the “All Forums” and “All Topics” buttons, and force the links to be white that are to see because they appear similar to the background color in the left most column, where the login/register widget is located.
Can you please take a look?
Thanks in advance for your time. You’re work is fantastic!

As a follow up, I just noticed that if the basic member is logged out, you can see the “My Articles” link in his Navigation Bar. But that doesn’t do him much good since it doesn’t display and he can’t create an article when he’s logged in.
See attached snap shot of the same profile, but logged out.
Thanks for taking a look at this!

I’m having trouble with the Social Articles plugin and am reviewing some of the support queries. I have Social Articles installed, but the “My Articles” link in the Buddypress Profile Navigation Bar is only available for Admin Users. The link does not display for a basic member. I contacted the plugin developer, but he doesn’t seem to be responding anymore to support requests.
I attached a couple snap shots showing what displays on both the Home Page profile drop down, and in the Member Profile Nav Bar. As you can see, there is no link for “My Articles” for a basic member. The links only exist for Admins.
Is there a setting I’m missing, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!

Fantastic! What do you mean the page of the first screen shot? Do you mean the video URL?
Regarding video style, I was just looking to duplicate the one on the BETA site: beta.travelcuckoo.com where you click the big pink “Video of the Month” button on the home page.
Thanks for everything. Your work is incredible. 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantThat did the trick! I have to tell you Radu, your work is fantastic. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to help. I’m extremely grateful. Have a wonderful day. 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @Radu
Hope you had a great weekend. Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I know it’s not a bug. It’s a styling issue in the top menu bar, like all the other topics in this thread. Is there a way to change the color of that little drop down arrow link (looks like this “^” except upside down) so that it is white like all the other links we’ve made white? People can’t see it on mobile devices and don’t know how to login.
Thanks again for ask you’re excellent work
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @laura
I just logged in with those credentials. Can you try again using the “My Account” drop down in the top menu?
How about trying it with the button on the home page that I’ve circled in the attach snap shot?
Thanks for giving it shot!
Cheers. 🙂

Sorry to bug you, but I found another styling issue with the same scenario.
I was testing the site on mobile devices, and found one more problem.
The drop down arrow to the right of the My Account link (that enables you to access the login panel) is almost exactly the same color as the background. As a result people can not see it to login when on their mobile devices (see snap shot).
If you use Google Developer tools to simulate mobile devices, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
You mind taking a look please?
Thanks for everything. You guys are awesome! 🙂

Thanks so much for all your help! 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi Radu,
I know, that’s the problem. The color of those links in to the top navigation bar match the background almost exactly, which makes them hard to see. Look closely to the left of the shopping cart icon in the top navigation bar and you can barely see the link “My Account”
That font needs to be white so you can see it.
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @radu
Thanks for the code. It fixed the shopping cart, but the My Account/Login/Register button did not change. What code should I add?
Thanks for all your help.
jwchameleoncorpParticipantjwchameleoncorpParticipantWorked great Radu. Thanks!
Only one icon is not updated to white… shopping cart (very right side). How do I add that?
Thanks!
jwchameleoncorpParticipantThanks @radu
That worked! Is there a way to make the icons and fonts in the top header white? Would also like to make the social icons a little bigger, if possible.
Thanks for all the help. You guys do a really great job. 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantAttached is a snap shot of the header after the CSS was added.

Thanks for the reply. I added the code as instructed and changed the #eeeeee to the breadcrumb background, but there was no change. Did I miss something?
Also, is there a setting that allows me to control the size of the social icons, and where they display in the top header (left or right?)
Cheers!
jwchameleoncorpParticipantI forgot the attachment. Here it is.
Cheers! 🙂

Just following up on this. I’m building a site locally with Kleo and can’t find a way to stylize just the background color of the Top Menu by itself. I would like the Top Menu background to match the color of my breadcrumbs bar, blue background with white fonts/icons (see attached).
Is there a setting for this that I am overlooking?
Thanks.
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHey Laura,
Thanks for the suggestion. I checked it out and it looks promising. Once question before I give it a try. Do you know if the plugin has the ability to aggregate all the post to a common activity feed displayed on a page of my choice, (i.e. the Home Page) I’d like to syndicate all the posts for members to see in one place.
Thank you!
jwchameleoncorpParticipantYep, I know. But do you know which plugin was the culprit? If so, I can address it in the future. 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @laura
Haha! I know I place the link there via the WP menu, but is there a shopping cart icon that I can place there instead that shows whether or not anything is in the shopping cart?
Thanks. 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantjwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @laura
Just following up on this.
When I look at the Register Page, there is no content or code on it. So I can assume it’s pulling data from somewhere else allowing the User to enter the information and populate it to their Buddypress profile. So how do I integrate a Gravity Form to capture an email on the Register Page, while still ensuring the registration process operates normally for those that sign up?
Thanks for your insight.
Cheers.
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @laura
Here is another CSS issue – http://beta.travelcuckoo.com/groups/
See how they do not line up?
Sorry to bombard you with these CSS issues. Just trying to preview any little mistakes before launching.
Thanks for be so awesome. I really appreciate your help. 🙂
Happy Tuesday! 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @Andrei
Just following up on this. I really appreciate you looking into it.
So I don’t cause the same problem in the future, can you tell me what I did to cause the problem?
Thanks again for everything.
Cheers
jwchameleoncorpParticipantOkay, I ended up putting the groups in a more compact display with a Site Origin widget, along with all the other community features.
Thanks!
jwchameleoncorpParticipantHi @Laura
One more thing about working with Woo Commerce. I don’t see a way to display a Shopping Cart icon in the Nav Bar or Header.
I’ve looked in the settings but don’t see a way to implement it. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks!
jwchameleoncorpParticipantThat’d be great! It’s on the DEV site right now, (which is coming along really well 🙂 ) so I’ll circle back with you when I upload it to the server. Maybe a week or two. Thanks Laura. Have a great weekend. 🙂
jwchameleoncorpParticipantOne more thing. I forgot to answer your question…”the reorder could by done by css maybe, what is the order that you want?”
I want to put the “Settings” label at the bottom of the drop down menu. It’s much more intuitive for the user.
