Hello, the plugin must be outdated for the current buddypress version, that is why it has that error. Right now I do not know another plugin that does this sadly

Hello, buddypress is not actually a demo, is the style the theme has by default for buddypress plugin. You need to setup buddypress pages at Settings – Buddypress – Pages (blank pages without content) and go to your profile or members directory, you should see it as the demo. All demos have the same buddypress style
