Sorry for late reply my email is full…
to add them as members you will need to create a membership level and assign them to this. Create member levels in memberships>levels. You can add a free membership or paid but essentially it adds as a deterrent for spam. To assign members manually you can do this with admin account. Go to users>paid user …this is a dropdown menu
since adding the code no spam accounts have been created on my site.
ututorcoParticipantI have been getting them from outlook.ru or something like that. I used code provided by seventhqueen to avoid the visible consequences of spam on the front end, for example, a spam on the registration form will cause a spam profile to be created. The code is used to mean that a registered user will only have a profile once they have become a ‘member’.
Code here https://archived.seventhqueen.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/hide-non-paying-members.txt
Thanks
KrisututorcoParticipantHi There,
To create memebership levels go to the membership tab on the wp menu and click levels. To alter these memberships and set restrictions which will take effect on the site go to the sweetdate application and click ‘memberships’ which is directly above bbpress tab.

Hope that helps.
It may be a coincidence but the updates that were implemented yesterday may have fiddled with a few things?
ututorcoParticipantHi Boblebad,
I stumbled across a piece of code that was released by the keymasmasters which manipulated the member restrictions in v2.5. Since the update to v2.6 it seems that the piece of code has disappeared so I am unable to help. What version are you using?
ututorcoParticipantHey,
This may be a question for kpcrew and the keymasters. As I saw on your site kpcrew you had extra tabs on the profile header, I would love to add this and any help would be great if you wouldn’t mind sharing the knowledge 🙂
I also noticed a myselfsummary tab on the profile and I saw it matched the summary under the profile photo on the members page and I would be grateful for any recommendations on how to add this
Thanks guys
ututorcoParticipantHey,
Yes this works if you add the membership account page as a parent to any other. My issue was resolved by inserting some php script in functions.php provided the generous team at seventhqueen.
ututorcoParticipantHey
I would also be interested in enquiring regarding this request , although it may seem a bit draconion and evasive to some users safety is paramount on our end and we would definitely be looking to implement this. Any recommendations by the keymasters and participants would be greatly appreciated.

The uTutor CompanyututorcoParticipantHey,
Anyone with the same issue as I have had, please rename the profile tab field as – base –
To access the profile tab and make changes to them go to users > Profile Fields & adjust accordingly. When you make a new one remember that if you want this to show in the main profile header name it BASE. If you do not want it to show then leave it blank and it will show in the bottom profile section.

ututorcoParticipantHi Abe,
The issue still persists so I will wait for the update tomorrow and see where that takes me. Will keep you posted, thanks for your help
ututorcoParticipantHi Abe,
I have managed to work around it by updating the permalink structure…
All I did was make the members account page a parent of the members page and it seemed to work, this was a suggestion in a previous thread.
Now when a logged out user or logged in without the right membership clicks on the members tab in my menu they are re directed to the homepage, could you please assist me in redirecting to a custom page of my choice.
Kindest Regards
