sjmohan, you have some other plugins that mess with the admin, something like: wp-content/mu-plugins/wpengine-common/css/wpe-common.css?ver=2.1.7

You are probably in a multisite… I don’t know your configuration and please talk to your hosting to tell you what is going on

Hi, The updated .zip archive can be found in the package downloaded from Themeforest inside the Plugins folder – js_composer.zip.
Go to WP admin – Plugins. Disable and remove existing Visual composer plugin and then add the new one by providing the .zip archive in Plugins – Add new – Upload

Yes that is because of WordPress 3.9 new editor. We are working to update the plugin so that functionality can be available in the new editor too. You should use Visual Composer for building elements

You can change the default Mistery Man from WP admin – Settings – Reading. Try to clear browser cache or site cache if you are using a plugin for cache. Also you can try and search for a plugin that allows you to specify your own custom image as default avatar

Hi, That error is caused due insufficient allocated PHP memory. Talk at your hosting to increse your PHP memory limit to 128MB recommended.

Yes that is right. WordPress 3.9 has a new TinyMCE version which doesn’t work with old way of adding buttons to the editor. We are working on that and will come with a fix for WP 3.9

Yes make sure to update Visual Composer to 4.0.5 since it resolves some editor problems with WP 3.9. There is a new page since Buddypress 2.0, in member profile – Settings – Profile which won’t appear unless you replace theme files with the one from attached archive

Hi, We have also tested WP 3.9 and Buddypress 2.0 but haven’t encountered your problems. Try setting WP_DEBUG to TRUE in wp-config.php to see where the problem comes from

You just enable the child theme just like you did for the main theme. Then you just copy any template you want to override to the child theme in the same folder structure as in the main theme. More on this: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

We just updated the plugin to latest version on the demo and doing some tests. It is not good that revslider loads on all pages even if it is not used and doing that setting to disable it is a good choice.
