I don’t know what to say about that… a fresh install of WordPress and configuring the theme only with the plugins needed to function proper may be a solution. Or you can ask the hosting company to restore your files from an earlier version if they have a backup.

A good plugin for securing your site is this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-wp-security/

Let me know what are your thoughts about this to be be able to help. Also, you might consider the fact that you can hire a developer from our team who can do all this configurations.

For this you need to modigy the archive.php file to suit your needs… you need development skills to achieve this… also, if you want a different template for tags template you need to copy the archive.php file rename it in tags.php and do the same. For more info please take a look here:

I tried to login once and I got this:

“You have been locked out due to too many login attempts.”

this can be caused by a plugin you have installed… do you have something like this:

@ajakob: I don’t understand this: “If I create a Home page its blank.” why the page is blank? did you use the page templates that can be imported from the theme package?

@hwoodz78: the theme and the child theme are located in Main Files/WordPress/ sub-folder… those .zip files need to be imported through WordPress import theme dialog…

you need to add the custom file in the child theme folder keeping the same folder structure… don’t forget to make a backup o f the custom file 🙂

please update the theme at 2.0 version, deactivate all the plugins and keep only the ones that are recommended by the theme at first install and we can start from there.

visual composer is not active this is why you see all that code in the homepage… also, I see you have a lot of other plugins installed… I suggest you to start a fresh install with the theme and follow the tutorial for customizing content…

You should copy the header.php file to your child theme theme and replace:

so you want the logged in users not to be able to return to homepage if they click on the logo… i don’t really understand your request… you could achieve this by creating a custom header.php file and use it in the template… please give me more details about this… you can also hide the logo on the profile page…
