    i can only do rar
    any e-mail address I can send it to?

    p.s. I think the kleo.pot file is outdated and doesn’t contain all strings used in the theme (buddypress and woocommerce strings that remain untranslated on front end and in the theme settings)

    I have latest theme version installed and as soon as I activate the plugin the option appears in the theme settings but it gives me a blank screen for all options.

    Hi @Abe

    Yes this was on the admin side.

    An update on the matter: Because of the persistancy of this issue I deleted VC and the magazine-demo page. After reinstall of VC everything was beack to normal.

    What I didn’t realize: I had created custom post options using WCK and later on I tried AFC. Both of them didn’t work in a way that was satisfying so these plugins were uninstalled at the same time as when I uninstalled the VC plugin. It might be that the plugins themselves were not conflicting, but that I made a wrong choice in the WCK/AFC taxonomy handling which resulted in the freezing (load time error) of the page/post.

    Hi there,

    I have this issue since a few hours. All plugins are up-to-date; no conflicting plugins are active. Did a plugin on/off test to rule out any other unfamiliar issue.

    What I experience:

    When in the Home News Magazine (imported demo page) or any other imported demo page:
    I make an adjustment to a text or anything and want to save/preview… the screen just freezes. I can still controle the mouse and other parts of WP can be reached, but the demo-pages themselves freeze. After approximate 5 minutes chrome asks to wait or kill the page.

    I am running the latest chrome, and don’t seem to have issues with other part of website (front/back-end) just VC elements in posts/pages.

    Wah! I must be really overlooking this download icon or searching at the wrong link 🙁
    Either way, you are right regarding the direct benefits. Will consider it for sure.

    Have a good week!

    Sorry @Radu but that is not the solution.
    You need to activate the plugin through the dashboard and because the plugin comes with the theme we(I) don’t have the necessary activation code and cannot obtain the “free” slider templates.

    Personally I would like to have all the social media templates, but I guess what really would make a lot of people happy would be to get access to these templates either through the website or through the pre-packing with the slider that’s included in Kleo.

    Really hope this is going to be fixed. As most pre-delivered plugins come with all kinds of useful templates but we can not reach due to the lack of activation codes and so on 🙁

    Is it possible to use that for all the video’s? Which options should I use in VC or (post) theme options to achieve this?

    Thank you so much @Laura!

    Any idea on the reason why the video controls on the 404 are different in comparison to my posts?

    Hi Laura,

    Thank you so much for this! A few final questions:

    Can you tell me if it is possible to have a transparant header, and that the video is at the top (no padding, no/or transparant title + transparent header)?

    Can it be set to autoplay?

    What type of video (controls) are being used on the 404 page? They look much better then on my other posts and I would love to have that as standard. What or how to change that? Check here for comparison.

    Kind regards,
    Isidore

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. I have done that and it is not working 🙂

    On the server:
    The 404 template is called from somewhere else and ignores the kleo child theme template!

    WordPress backend:
    Page build with VC completly ignores the settings and shows the 404 template as set on the server side.

    Website Front-end:
    Does not show the customized 404 page (with template set correctly) but the standard server side template

    Please help me solve this issue.

    Thank You!

    Hi Adam @greenscotland

    I see what you mean regarding the dates. I have a similar issue with Kleo posts output and the inability to make any changes to them. I use the VC grid elements because this allows me way more controle over the overal output. I’ll be checking out the php output of the kleo post,d if I find something for you to use i’ll let you know. Apologies for being of little help.

    Can someone please give some real support to this question?

    I am wondering if it can be arranged that (in my case) when selecting an audio post format with a soundcloud link (or other WP accepted audio links) that, similair to the youtube (video format posts), there appears a play button and you can actually listen to the song straight from the main page instead of needing to go into the post. How to achieve this?

    I also find it a bit disappointing that the post formats are available but has had no special attention. Especially the inherent music player and how it is displayed within Kleo. Although I can do a lot with VC, it would be great if some attention could be pored into making the audio/video post formats have a visually more attractive appearance (especially the audio output lacks appeal).

    Perhaps a future request?

    Hi @Radu

    Thanks for the fast reply.

    The first problem is solved (1: was caused by “Thin out revision” )

    Problem 2: I will play around with it. I did see the NEW FEATURE: Customize blog image sizes for each type of blog display, but left it untouched.

    Considering this issue solved!

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

    I am asking 2 questions and your answer applies to neither 🙁

    Question 1:
    Is about the word “Post History” which is not the post title. The post title is in the header and not shown in the first image (see attachement) titled post-history. It is shown below the post content as part of the “like, comment, related post” area.
    Where or how do I hide the words “Post history”?

    Question 2:
    Is about the size of the “Related Article” section where images show in different sizes.
    Where do I change the proportion settings of the image so they align properly to the same size?

    Please check the question and the images (title correlates to the question) before answering me. Thank you in advance for this!

    Best regards,
    Isidore

    Hi there @greenscotland

    If you go to Theme Options> Blog and scroll down to Meta Settings find Display Meta Fields. There you will be able to select or cancel the display of meta data (date) for the posts.. you can also hide all date within the same section.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,

    @bkozlowski – Myself more an implementer then developer had trouble with the themekraft plugin (and the support on it) which was reason for me to dodge the plugin as a whole. If you are more versed in development, you could see how it is wired and perhaps get it to work to your liking. Either way, any customized code to have a better integration between woo/buddy within kleo is very welcome.

    Hi @laura

    Sorry for the belated reply!

    I have decided to use Kleo in another project where the above request is unnecessary.

    Thank you for helping in trying to find the right solution of this request!

    Hi there @bkozlowski

    I understood that Kleo is not going to have a full woo/buddy integration. But I still would want that to happen as well. The themekraft plugin has been tested by me and just doesn’t work nice with kleo. Also doesn’t have a full integration with buddy as oppose to the way it markets itself.

    Integration would seem easier to achief now with the new api features within woo & buddy. Not sure about this though.

    Perhaps we should let Kleo support know we want this as a future request: full woo/buddy integration.

    Then the more voices showing interest, the higher the chance will be that this is going to be implemented.

    Hi @Laura,

    Again thank you for helping out!

    I tried it but the Quick CSS in the theme options doesn’t seem to respond to the padding option nor to the transparency. I have tested to see if there are conflicting plugins, but non.

    Is there a way to:
    1) Create a function.php (in child-theme) code or;

    2) call the theme-given side-menu as fixed/sticky in the same way as shown in the post where i’m now currently using the widgetized sidebar through visual composer in the post/page: https://thecurious.rehab/try-out-post/ and https://thecurious.rehab/landing-2/

    Perhaps having the side menu open + sticky would be an easier way of working for now. However then I face the following issue:
    The design is to not have main menu or top bar, the reason is that it conflicts with the transparent png logo in sticky/transparent/title/breadcrumbs overlapping in the layout.

    The sidebar doesn’t appear opened by itself (tried various settings) and no way to call it other then through a menu with class=open-sidebar. I don’t know how to call for this class through css or place an icon in all the pages/posts to call for the class attribute.

    Problem eventually is that I need to have several different sidebars called into different pages and I’m not sure if the side menu has that flexibel.

    If you or anyone else has “best practice” ideas and other css ideas, I would love to receive your help!

    Hi @Laura

    Thank you for the reply and code. However 🙁

    I inserted the code in quick css within the theme options and it doesn’t seem to change. No response to transparency nor to the padding px size for share this/ related articles. The comments does work. Tried to change the css into:

    COPY CODE
    #share-links {
        padding: 200px;
        background: transparent !important;
    }
    #related-wrap .hr-title.hr-long {
        padding: 200px;
        background: transparent !important;
    }

    #comments .hr-title.hr-long {
        padding: 150px;
        background: transparent !important;
    }

    But that didn’t solve the problem either. Did I misplace the code in the first place or is it for other reasons not working properly??

    Appreciate the help!

    I realized I could also just change the padding like I did with the 1/6 + 5/6 template itself; as the 5/6th had a 50px padding on the left and right but then I would need to know where to set the padding for the “Share This”, “Related Posts” and “Comments” and have a transparency set to those elements to match the design.

    I would like to have the best solution possible 🙂

    Hi there,

    I have tried to do as described @mackown but then I get an error saying that the plugin is trying to load an unsave script. I have ssl on my website, so probably the http protocol that is being called is not allowed.

    Can you advice me on what to do?

    P.s. : social articles no longer functions properly on my website the text area for writing is no longer functioning.
