Never mind…it was a developer putting some code on the home page where it should not be…so our issue.

i also just tried adding a toggle and put the embed code in the content….and it is stripping out the embed code. I should be able to do that, right? So have the Video title in the title of the toggle and then the click to reveal shows the video.

I tried 6 and still same thing. when it loads the first time I see the two black/white arrows to scroll through but the posts do not show.

I did add the direct youtube embed code for the videos for now…but you can see at the top there is a blank area and that is where the short code is…when it loads I can see some smaller arrows display on the right side…so it is like they are there, but not.

Also. if I set page cache, then the logins do not work right as you navigate around the site…you get back to non logged in pages, etc. Anyway around this because with page cache on it is much faster….but of course issues with login pages.

Also…if the other user does not have the location or an about me set, then it picks it up the most recent one and adds it in for all users. If a user has the location set or an about me…then it shows the right value. So it is about a blank field, it appears.

I guess the issue is if I select Front Page template that area does full the edges and is full width. If I select just a full page template, it does not…it puts it into a 960 pixel container. So is there a way to get it full screen without having to select the Front Page template? That is actually messing up other things.

i have deactivated the visual composure plugin…but I still can’t get the Top Members row to go full width like your example. What am I doing wrong? I have the same background image uploaded as the background. Please advise.

An update. I have the Kleo theme too so used the update to revslider there to update to the most recent version and that seemed to fix the blank transition page…

still need to understand how to make the Top Members area full width, etc.

i saw in the documentation that there is the gray background for the Top Members section…so tried the code there but it is still not going full width…stops within the theme page container of about the 980 pixels…so not doing something right. How do I get that to the edge? Seems like if you add a row you could style the row with a different color vs having to upload a background image….

I have a strange issue that just started last week.

1. it shows no users when in fact there are 3. See screen shot. I have tried to repair the buddypress stats using the new built in tool but that did not change.

2. I am logged in but it shows that my last activity was 3 days ago.

i have even deleted my old account and registered a new account, then set it to a super admin, and still shows my last activity 2 days ago…..

So wondering how to correct this.

adding the css in the child theme css file worked. I was doing it via the styling options page. thanks

I tried that and it did not work…still shows. I guess I thought initially it was the top-bar not top-links but neither one work…also added !important but no change….

On the profile area, it is the blue area I would like to make semi transparent…I have a background image for each user if they upload it…

one other thing. I would like to add some transparency to the member profile area where the user’s photo is and the profile details. can you provide the css to accomplish this?

I would also like to add an option like you have on the Kleo there where you can show less for the user area….the blue area for the member profile takes up a lot of space so if the user could collapse it and show less it would be better.

Is there an update to the visual computer for Sweetdate? I see for Kleo. I have version 3.7.4 installed and I do not see any updates in the plugin folder for the master file download… I have the most recent version as of 30.04.2014.

Here is mine with a lot more plugin impact and NO cache active at the moment. The theme load time is .14 seconds. We do have our own hosted server on a pretty fast machine…so maybe it is your host. Have not installed the new buddypress 2.0 updates yet…that is to have some new improvements. But looks like a theme thing….might be a conflict with W3…which I have yet to get to work. WpTotal cache is on another site i have and it is pretty fast.

I think the header issue being off was a setting on the revolution slider. On the responsive, 1024 px box I had the slider at 1000 px…when I changed it to 750 it fixed the issue….so maybe there is a bug with that setting…as I had it in landscape mode on an ipad….but maybe it is just the general dimension that it is looking at of 768 regardless of orientation?

Still would be good to have option to show regular menu vs the collapsed one.

I was just trying to add them to the WP menu – appearences/menu and then in the CSS class put in the icon name. That is how I did it on another site I have and it worked with the awesomefont plugin…. tried variations of : fa fa-wrench or tried wrench too…..

Really like this theme. I have tried others and while we are not a dating site, we do have some social components….and I am finding the site loads really fast, which was my issue with these other themes….just slow. We were thinking buddypress might have a limited use period but this might make it more usable for longer.

thanks. I got the woocommerce update to work and it now goes to the full screen layout which is what I wanted, as some of the form fields were getting cut off with the right sidebar layout.

Do you have a fix for the buddypress pages too where you can select different layouts for the pages, kind of like you have with Kleo? There are some pages I would like a sidebar, and some where full screen…but it seems that it is all just pulling from the default buddypress selection in the theme settings. With Kleo each page can be adjusted, right?

PS. I can add the icons as an html item in a widget box. they just do not show up as a Menu item using the css class…..

I have seen those. The problem is I put the icon in the css class on the menu and the icpn does not change. I am putting icon-dashboard in the css classes (optional) field. Is there something else I need to do?

Hi Abe.

I mean when the user’s page loads, I see the 13 photos as the thumbnails and then it condenses to show the 4 next to the larger profile photo….so if someone had 50….will it load all. It slows the page down from loading as well.

I would vote for this as well. Also I have found if you have more than the 4 or 5 photos uploaded say in the activity stream, they all show when your profile page loads, and then it collapses to show the 4 thumbnails to the right of the user’s profile image. So wondering how to NOT have all the photos show…I would imagine if someone uploads 50 photos it is going to look ugly. Consolidating the viewers is a good idea to get consistency in the usage and the social interactions.

I would like to add these icons to the nav menu. I have tried the codes for both 4.0 and 3.2 and neither one will show the icon in the CSS class. I have also tried to install the plugin for awesome font and that did not work. http://wordpress.org/plugins/font-awesome-4-menus

I was able to get it working on another website I have that uses an elegant themes theme. How can we do this with sweetdate?

if you go here you can see what I mean on the avatars…see the user’s friends on the right…where the image does not fill the circle all the way. If I delete my own avatar, it reverts to an older one that is fine. If I upload a new one, it is fuzzy…..so something in not resized right. I do looked in the Bp avatar file and this is what is there…

Our site is in lockdown mode…I can email some screen shots if you want on the images. I deleted one I uploaded and it reverted to an older one that looks ok in my profile view but is off on the sidebar view…where to send them to?

Please add my vote on adding an icon based Buddypress menu like Kleo but for Sweetdate…in a future update. It just looks cooler and actually looks better on smaller screens in responsive mode. I own that theme too but then found Sweetdate and like it overall better…..Kleo had a lot of bugs from what I could see…

A couple of other things
1. Is it possible to add a shopping cart icon next to the Profile | Logout button at the top? That would be cool to indicate items in the cart

2. is there a page with general Theme customizations, short codes, etc? I can’t seem to find where the short codes are. I have an issue with the visual editor in that is it not inserting the short codes on some pages….not sure why…if I have the short code I can add it and it works, but using the menu within the section of the visual editor is not inserting the short code….
