How old is the buddypress-functions.php file in your child theme? If its from before you upgraded Kleo, that could be your issue.

You’re doing it wrong.

First you dont want to reinstall the theme

Second, even if you did want to reinstall the theme, you need to unzip the themeforest download to get to the kleo.zip installer.

The logo height will be whatever you set the main menu height to.

There is no width restriction. But if its too big to fit the space, it will move to the next line.

It was saying that there were too many connections. I’m not sure what you did, but you’ve moved your plugins folder into your themes folder. Move it back.

its not about having errors. kleo will load it will load over https. again, did you clear your cache? or perhaps another plugin is loading it as well.

I cant connect to your ftp server. Also, that fix was for Kleo 3.0. Not sure if it would even work with 2.4.3 which you are running.

I think there is a plugin for that. Its not built into kleo or bp by default. You should read the bp documentation.

perhaps its a plugin conflict. disable the plugins except bbpress, buddypress, kelements and visual composer. check your widgets. if they are all there, enable the rest of the plugins one by one, checking the widgets each time.

If a post is set to video, audio or gallery then it wont pull a featured image (no matter how its configured) because they are set up to either display a video, audio player or a gallery slider. You set the video, audio or slider images down the page in theme general settings > media.

I have been using Kleo for over a year and a half (I’m a Kleo user even though I have Mod rights here). I havent looked the the documentation since then. So cant answer that. Back when I stared and even today with new features, I find it helpful to import the demo content to see how everything is configured.

It depends on how you have it configured. If you dont set a featured image, kleo will pull one from the post content if 1 – it can find one and 2 – you have that enabled in theme options > blog > get featured image from content.

The featured image will be display at the top of the post unless you turn that off in theme options > blog.

You should spend some time in theme options to see whats available.

There’s also theme general settings at the post/page level so you can control individual posts.
