ModeratorHi Sidney,
I just checked on the front-end and can see the issue you’re experiencing. Would you mind updating this ticket, in a private reply, with newly created admin credentials (in English US or UK) so I can look at the settings on the back-end?
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
There is nothing specific with regards to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in SweetDate as we are not your data controller or processor. The information your users provide to you is requested by you and stored on your server – SweetDate only facilitates the visuals of the process.
We made a post about GDPR which you can find here https://seventhqueen.com/blog/news/gdpr-compliance-for-seventhqueen-themes.html
WordPress 4.9.6 addresses several concerns with GDPR including data export, data delete requests and a privacy policy to assist you with your privacy page. See WP Admin > Tools for more information on this.
As a non logged in visitor to your site I am not able to access individual profiles but I can access the members directory. You can restrict access to the membership directory by going to WP Admin > SweetDate > Memberships > Heading: ‘Membership settings’ > Option: ‘Restrict members directory’ and set as per your requirements. If you have set this up properly and it still does not work then please send me admin details, in a private reply, so I can look into this for you.
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
That is the correct setting for BuddyPress 3.0
You can do a manual roll back of the BuddyPress version by doing the following
Restore BuddyPress 2.9.4
– Download BuddyPress 2.9.4 here https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/buddypress.2.9.4.zip
– Extract the .zip folder on your computer
– Connect to your site via SFTP / FTP and navigate to /wp-content/plugins/
– Delete the contents of the /buddypress/ folder within /wp-content/plugins/
– Upload the contents of the extracted .zip file into the /buddypress/ folder
– Clear your website cache, CDN and your front-end cache (Ctrl+F5)
– Await an update to KLEO for BuddyPress 3.0Thanks,
Kieran

Thanks for getting in touch about this issue. We’re aware of this issue and will release an update as soon as we can to address this.
To confirm in the meantime, you have changed to the legacy templates in the BuddyPress options tab?
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi Julie,
Did you install the BuddyPress 3.0 update? We do not have official support for it yet, so if you have, you’ll need to do the following.
– Update KLEO to v 4.3.7
– Go to WP Admin > Settings > BuddyPress > Tab: ‘Options’ > Scroll to: ‘Template Pack’ and select ‘BuddyPress Legacy’ from the drop down menu
– Save your options, clear your website cache, CDN and your front-end cache (Ctrl+F5)Please let me know if this continues after updating the theme.
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
Did you by chance use rtMedia previously and then switch to a different plugin to handle media uploads in BuddyPress?
If so, the activity types belong to the plugin and not BuddyPress. Therefore if you uninstall the plugin there is nothing code wise to render the content even though it still exists in the database.
If the above is the case then you may wish to contact the plugin author and ask if they have any migration tools between the old plugin and current plugin.

ModeratorHi,
I logged into your site via FTP and uploaded a clean copy of BuddyPress 2.9.4 and you are no longer receiving an Error 500. It appears that the original upload was either corrupted or files were skipped.
I can see you’re running KLEO 4.3.7 so you should be okay to update BuddyPress to 3.0 and switch to the legacy templates.
Go to WP Admin > Settings > BuddyPress > Tab: ‘Options’ > Scroll to: ‘Template Pack’ and select ‘BuddyPress Legacy’ from the drop down menu
As a side note your backups are stored in the public html folder and are available for anyone to download. You may wish to change the storage location as this could be a huge security risk.
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
Please share SFTP / FTP access for your site so I can check your theme files. At what point did it throw the 500 error? Was it during the theme update? plugin update? saving an option?
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
It’s fairly complicated and I am not sure if there is a plugin for this or not. If there is, it is likely a premium plugin, check CodeCanyon for suitable plugins – if any.
If not you will need to write a script that checks if the device is a mobile, what OS and show X content. It’ll also need tied to a cookie so it does not constantly show. This is beyond the scope of support offered with the theme and is something you will have to hire a developer for if you do not know how to do this.
Furthermore, Google / Bing are introducing SEO penalties for mobile sites that show full screen modals to users when they visit their site so this may not be a good option where SEO is concerned.
Thanks,
Kieran
