1. The user role participant doesnt allow the user to delete their topics, you can make the user a moderator or edir the role permissions with a role permission editor plugin
2. The users can create groups at yourwebsite.com/groups , at their profile they can only see the groups they joined or created

Hello, well yes they actually have two different pages, but you dont really have to add them to the menu, each user will end up visiting them while shopping / editing their membership.
Each plugin will redirect them to each page when needed
