Thank you for the direction to edit, I’m having trouble editing the file correctly 🙁 This is a very important feature as it creates confusion for my members who click on the photos in the “My Photos” tab only to get a basic slideshow without the ability to comment or like.

Can I pay you guys to add in the rtMedia plugin functionality fully for the “My Photos” tab?? I really need this.

Thank you for your help, I tried out the directions in the link you provided and it didn’t work. The profile field is still viewable in the “About Me” profile tab 🙁

Anything that might be interfering with it or any reason why it wouldn’t work?

Hi Abe,

Look forward to the styling help, for the 403 forbidden error it says:

“You don’t have permission to access /members/jim/media/22/edit/ on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

Any ideas?
I tried re-saving permalinks with no luck and my hosting company is unmanaged unfortunately.

I’m having the same issues as well as getting a 403 forbidden error when trying to click “edit” in lightbox when viewing a photo. I’ve contacted rtmedia and they can’t replicate the issues, but I’m still working with them.

Any help from Sweetdate admin is welcome 🙂

I tested with WordPress 3.8 and I got some additional whitespace added to the top of my screen on a mobile device and I still have the whitespace on the right hand side from the BuddyPress Wall plugin that hasn’t been fixed by the developer because she’s non-existent (https://db.tt/k75iwX5y).

Also, did you figure out the notification template problem for BuddyPress 1.9 yet?

Thank you for staying on top of this as I disabled the Revolution Slider till I was able to fix it. I would very much prefer if you could ask them to give instructions on how to fix it myself as I’m sure there might be some other people with this issue with SSL.

I don’t have any font from google on the slider. I also just tried to use a video from Vimeo instead of a picture and the same thing happened on top of the other error…

Does that mean the Revolution Slider is useless for sites with SSL certification??! That’s terrible if that’s true.

I can’t make a support request on Revolution Slider because the slider is provided through Sweetdate and it’s up to you guys to fix it or contact them about issues.

Hi,

I’ve been doing a lot of troubleshooting and found out the http://platform.twitter… and http://connect.facebook… errors are from a plugin I have which I disabled 🙂 I also found the culprit of the http://fonts.googleapis…Open+Sans error, and that is the RevSlider.

I can’t figure out how to fix the RevSlider from pulling unsecured Google font 🙁 It’s breaking my site and making it so I can’t access https://example.com/wp-admin!

Those are the only errors left and my site will be ok with SSL.

Hi,

Thank you for the quick fix, that slowed my site a little so I may just use a different plugin because I can’t get ahold of the Buddypress Wall developer. She is non-existent on the support forums and won’t hasn’t answered anyone’s topic in over 3 months. I may use the plugin by BuddyDev called Facebook Like User Activity Stream for Buddypress which I’m only having one issue with on my test site.

I’ll post an update of my findings.

Excellent! That’s great news to hear about version 2.3, I’m excited to update! 🙂 I’m going to contact rtMedia about the spacing for the “attach files” button because I believe it’s not that that is messing up the mobile site, I actually think it’s the privacy controls that I disabled, but it’s still there, users just can’t see it. I noticed they placed the privacy control drop down right after the “attach files” button and when I play with the width of the web page the “update” button goes down another line, where it shouldn’t be. If I disable privacy options for rtMedia then the button shouldn’t load and create such issues.

I’ll let you know what they say, because anyone with the rtMedia plugin installed will have this horrible issue that will make it almost impossible to post an update on mobile.

I’m having the same issue on the iPad. I noticed the social buttons work on the iphone and computer, but not on the iPad. I’m only using Sweetdate theme for computer and mobile and I access the internet from Safari on the iPad using IOS 7.0.3.

Hi,

I have been trying to fix this issue of the white space on the right of the screen when logged in for over a month now and still can’t figure it out. This is really frustrating.

I’ve tried all kinds of quick css but still nothing works. The white space appears only when logged in, so I’m very confused.

I also noticed when clicking on either the login or sign up buttons on the blog page when not signed in creates a misformatted window to sign in or sign up.

Thank you! That fixed all the pages except for the one with the Invite Anyone plugin, I’ve contacted the plugin developer so hopefully he can get back to me soon. I’ll update this post if and when I hear back 🙂
