Yes, no snippet like in php cuz it not works in that way.
So you will need to copy and modify in child and using that snippet.

Mark as a solutionIf you had asked to hide it most youre you had received a css to hide it… this shouldn’t be hidden, so now if er had figured out the issue, remove parts of that css until to horizontal form looks ok.
I’ve already told ya look for .search-bar {display:none} and remove it.

In general this kind of issue issue it’s caused by loading bootstrap library twice so our theme loads one and sometimes some of the third party plugins load also bootstrap framework or some odd cases.
So disable all plugins except buddypress and visual composer and check if the issue disappears, if yes enable back plugins one by one.
The solution for that it’s to look in that plugin in settings if they haves any option to prevent bootstrap library to be loaded.
Personally i think this plugin causes that “essential-real-estate” you can start with it.

I don’t have premade for that and not sure if the function can be rerwiten like a php one, but i had offered to you a possibility to overwrite the app.js file in child to be able to change that function params into app.js file in child.

I see that if you activate parent theme the issue disappears, the issue it’s from child theme.

On our demo not happens on your case it’s a template from child or something like members.php or members-loop.php

There is no way in theme options they are predefined, the only way it’s with CSS selectors that are a little bit tricky since they uses pushes

Maybe for the RSS you will need to search for a plugin that handles RSS’s on the widgets area it’s a RSS widget where you can add the RSS source url and the titles will be pulled.

I had tested using default wp theme to can see if our theme causes that and the issue seesm to be caused by something else, most sure a plugin, if you have any plugins that optimize the image in any way it may be the reason, try to de-activate all plugins off and check if they are looking ok, it they are the same the thumb may be regenerated, or upload as a avatar a new image.

IT does… so if you will set a lower padding like 5, you will see all icons or majority of them will be displayed and will be out of the burger icon.
IF you are injecting css via inspector you need to resize window after that to make the css to have effect.

I had added the next snippet to your child theme and it pulls and convert the field His Birthday.
