ModeratorHi,
Thanks for reaching out about updates. From the front-end it looks like you’re using the SweetDate Child theme which is the correct way to manage changes and overrides. If all of your changes have been made in the SweetDate Child theme then you can update the main theme without any worries at all.
If you have made changes to the parent theme, outside of the child theme, then you will lose them on update. If this is the case copy across any files you have changed in the parent theme into the child theme. After that you can update without worry.
As always with anything to do with any kind of updates, make sure you have a full backup of your sites content and database, just in case!
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
You can do this by default in KLEO. Please go to WP Admin > Theme Options > Blog > Scroll to: ‘Enable Custom Image sizes’ and toggle to on.
Once you have saved your settings you will need to regenerate any thumbnails by installing and running the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin which can be found here for free https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
I logged into your site to take a look at this for you. The image that was output was 525 x 350, which is the full size for the image, you can check this in WP Admin > Media. Try assigning a larger image (1920 x X) and see what results you get for the output.
Let me know,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
Thanks for sending through the updated information. I have looked into the slider button using the kleo-scroll-to class and I can’t seem to find a cause for why it isn’t respecting it. I will therefore refer this ticket to one of our developers for review. Someone will be in touch with you as soon as possible, Monday to Friday, East European Time.

ModeratorHi,
I tested this locally. It restricts logged in users to opposite sex and shows all to any logged out user. Let me know if this works for you or not.

ModeratorHi,
When I am logged in as a male user I see only female users in the carousel widget. If I switch to a female user I see only male users in the same carousel.
I assume you mean whilst logged out? If so it may be possible to use is_user_logged_in() in the if statement so this code is only run for logged in users. Please can you share the exact code you used here with a single code tag before and after the code so no formatting is lost.
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
I will refer this ticket to one of our developers to see if the loss of data on refresh is coming from BuddyPress or the theme.
Both recipient and subject are required fields in BuddyPress messaging and cannot be disabled.
Someone will be in touch with you as soon as they can, Monday to Friday, East European Time.
Thank you for your patience,

ModeratorHi,
Please see here for how to restrict the members directory in that way
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/prevent-same-sex-search-on-dating-site/#post-10095615
This code would need to be added to bp-custom.php so it is called early enough to work properly. This file does not exist by default and you will need to create your bp-custom.php file and upload it directly into /wp-content/plugins/ folder.
For more information on the bp-custom.php file please see this buddypress codex article https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/bp-custom-php/
Thanks,
Kieran

ModeratorHi,
Again this would take custom code to manipulate the output of available membership packages. It’s definitely doable but you would need to build this yourself or hire a developer as it’s not part of the theme or the plugin. You’d need to get the current user, check their profile fields and then only return X packages for female and and else for male (depending which type of user was free).

ModeratorHi,
The snippet provided is for on registration and would need wholly reworked to account for profile field changes after the user is registered. This is outside the scope of the support offered with the theme and is considered custom development.
There is only one plugin that I currently know of, Advanced XProfile Fields for BuddyPress, that would achieve the non-editable profile field but that plugin is two years out of date. If you were unable to petition the developer to update their plugin then this would need to be coded in too.
The link to the plugin is https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-xprofile-fields-for-buddypress/.
If you would like to speak to our dev team about custom development then please feel free to email dev@seventhqueen.com with as much information as possible and someone will be in touch shortly.
Thanks,
Kieran
