Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
The screenshot you attach shows the members individual groups page which is a part of their profile. To see the general groups page, based off of the URL in your screenshot, you would need to go to http://localhost/Mysite2/groups/
If you wish to create a menu item for this you can go to WP Admin > Appearance > Menus and add the groups page you created to the menu. You will find this under the pages heading within the menu editor. If for some reason the structure does not work as it should on your local machine (which it may not) you can create a custom menu item and set the path to /Mysite2/groups/

Kieran_SQModeratorAlso, I noticed a minor issue on your site when building a page with Elementor. A 60px padding was added to the main content, I have added the below CSS to WP Admin > Appearance > Editor > SweetDate Child > Style.css to remove this extra padding on pages built with Elementor
COPY CODE.full-builder { padding-top: 0px !important; }

Kieran_SQModeratorHi Jenni,
If the page ‘Hem – Startsida, Elementor’ is pre SweetDate 3.0 I would advise that you use the other, working, page from the theme demo import ‘Home Default — Elementor’ and customize it to your needs.
Background images in Elementor are responsive and should scale as you adjust the browser size as well as rendering the correct image size for different devices.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Thanks for reaching out about the PHP warning you’re receiving on the front-end. I cannot see from the front-end which version of KLEO / K Elements you have installed because you’re using Autoptimize, can you confirm you’re using KLEO version 4.3.6 and K Elements 4.3.5.1?
Also, please share your PHP error log in this ticket either in a .txt file or zipped. If you do not know how to access this please open a ticket with your host who will be happy to assist.
If your site is live you may wish to consider turning off the printing of PHP error messages on the front-end as it can potentially reveal information about your configuration. If you wish to do so please check this article http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-turn-off-php-errors-in-wordpress/
Thanks,
Kieran

April 21, 2018 at 16:38 in reply to: How to allow logged in users but not members to send private message? #195539Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
The two features you show are different functions. Screenshot one shows activity updates which are essentially small posts within BuddyPress. The drop down shows the privacy settings for the activity update. The second screenshot shows the private messaging function which is an exchange of messages between two or more users.
Can you give me more information on what issue it is you’re facing and what you’re trying to achieve to I can assist you better?
Thanks,
Kieran

Kieran_SQModeratorHi George,
It looks like you may have set the currency position to the right. You can change this by going to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tab: ‘General’ > Scroll to: ‘Currency options’ > Select: ‘Left’ for ‘Currency Position’ (see attached screenshot).
Make sure to purge your website cache, CDN and local cache (Ctrl+F5) to see the changes.
Thanks,
Kieran

We already have a support article about this, you can find it here https://archived.seventhqueen.com/sweetdate/article/free-females-free-males-membership-paid-memberships-pro.
To use this code you will need to be using the SweetDate Child theme and insert it into your functions.php file by going to WP Admin > Appearance > Editor > SweetDate Child > Functions.php – you will need to first snippet of code which allows women to have a free membership and men are charged.
Thanks,
Kieran

Kieran_SQModeratorHi
Thanks for reaching out about customizing the Theme Options in SweetDate. You can set your desired styles by going to WP Admin > SweetDate > Tab: ‘General Settings’ for your logo and WP Admin > SweetDate > Tab: ‘Styling Options’ > Section: ‘Header section’ for colors.
There is no need to use Elementor Pro and the theme will function as intended with the base version which is freely available through the WordPress.org plugin repository. You can of course, if you wish, use the pro version but it is not required.
Thanks,
Kieran

You must be logged in to view attached files.Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
For groups and creating groups to work there are three settings that must be enabled
WP Admin > Settings > BuddyPress > Tab: ‘Components’ > Checkbox ‘User Groups’
WP Admin > Settings > BuddyPress > Tab: ‘Pages’ > Option: ‘User Groups’ – Select your desired page to house the groups functionality
WP Admin > Settings > BuddyPress > Tab: ‘Options’ > Checkbox: ‘Group Creation’
With all three of these options set any valid logged in user will be able to go to domain.com/groups/ to see all of the available groups as well as create a group using the blue ‘Create a Group’ link (see screenshot). The path to create a group is domain.com/groups/create. This assumes the page you assigned in the pages tab is called groups, if it is called anything other than that you should replace the word groups in the URL with your custom name.
If your site is on localhost the path will either be localhost/mydirectory/groups (where mydirectory is the directory in which your WordPress install lives) or localhost/groups
Thanks,
Kieran

You must be logged in to view attached files.Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Because there will be a lot to cover in my reply I am going to break each point down into numbers for ease of tracking going forward.
1. “Home Default — Elementor” the background image that appears at the top of the page is aligned top center. You have the row of content within set to full width with little padding around it therefore it makes the area very narrow causing the image to look a little off. Check the attached images “Home Default – Wide” and “Hoem Default – Narrower” for an example of how resizing the browser changes the view of this area and that the CSS is rendered on the front-end.
You can resolve some of the issue by making the inner content not full width, see screenshot “Home Default – Switch to boxed not fullwidth”. Also you can add padding top and bottom to the row to extend the height which will give more of an effect of aligned top-center, you can use this in conjunction with full width or not – it’s your choice, see screenshot “Home Default – Add padding to row”.
2. “Search form / Register Form” the form is there but is not rendered as it is set for logged out users. Check the attached screenshot titled “Home Default – Register Form” for how to edit this. Hover over each form and click the pencil icon to select whether or not to show to logged in or logged out users.
3. “Hem – Startsida” I cannot see how this element is rendered, it does not appear to be an element of Elementor. How did you add it?
4. “Cannot center my text” you’re using a shortcode kleo_h1 which is not required. You should removed all instances of this and select H1 from the dropdown instead of paragraph after highlight the text you wish to appear as a H1 title, see screenshot titled “Text Rendering – H1”.
I have changed this for you already, see screenshot titled “Text Render – Alt”, this should resolve the issue for you in this section but you will need to replace kleo_h1 with the correct H1 as per above.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Yes, you should be able to recreate the file contents or simply reupload a clean copy of the KLEO Child theme into the correct directory. I have attached a copy of the KLEO Child theme for you to this ticket should you wish to use that instead.
If you plan to move the my_functions.php file out of the lib directory make sure to rename the file to functions.php
Thanks,
Kieran

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
I can’t replicate that issue on my end but try replacing the CSS that I gave you earlier with the CSS from below
COPY CODE@media only screen and (max-width: 940px) { div#members-list .four.columns { width: 49% !important; float: left; } #members-list .four.columns:nth-child(3n+1) { clear: none !important; } #members-list .four.columns:nth-child(4n+1) { clear: none !important; } }

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Please customize the below CSS with your desired values to override the current style
COPY CODE.bp-user .two.columns.pull-two #item-buttons a { color: red; font-size: 14px; font-family: monospace; font-weight: 700; }
If you do not wish to adjust the font weight then remove the line font-weight: 700;
Thanks,

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Something else I noticed whilst reviewing your site for any changes, the line in the CSS file is using the incorrect character and therefore will fail to import anything.
Currently you have
@import url(“../kleo/style.css");
Ocassionally on load this fails and loads as
@import url(“../kleo/style.css");
It should be
@import url("../kleo/style.css");
More information: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_import_rule.asp
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
You shouldn’t need that line in the style.css and you’re missing the functions.php file.
The content of the style.css file, at minimum, should be as follows
COPY CODE/* Theme Name: Kleo Child Theme URI: Description: Child theme for Kleo Author: SeventhQueen Author URI: http://seventhqueen.com Template: kleo Tags: one-column, two-columns, right-sidebar, fluid-layout, custom-menu, featured-images, post-formats, sticky-post, translation-ready License: GNU General Public License License URI: license.txt */ /* * Please add your custom styles below */
You should also have a functions.php file within the root of the /kleo-child/ folder, the minimum content of this file is
COPY CODE<?php /** * @package WordPress * @subpackage Kleo * @author SeventhQueen <themesupport@seventhqueen.com> * @since Kleo 1.0 */ /** * Kleo Child Theme Functions * Add custom code below */
I’m not sure what files you have in the directory /lib/ but seeing as this appears to be the only custom content the issue would appear to lie within those files. Copying across the latest versions of the altered files and making your desired changes again should resolve this issue.
You can of course do as you described above and not use the KLEO Child theme (if not required). You would need to make a full backup of your database and WordPress files, then go to Theme Options > Import / Export and make a copy of your settings, switch to KLEO and then import your backed up settings.
Once you have verified that everything is working fine you would be able to delete the KLEO Child theme.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
You would need to go to /wp-content/plugins/bp-poke/ via SFTP / FTP or your hosts file manager and then search through the files for the untranslated string. However, if you are not comfortable editing and writing PHP this is ill advised and your changes will be lost on plugin update.
Kieran.
