You can import additional icons like this

Go to http://fontello.com

Click on this icon from middle page then press import, go to pack that you have downloaded from themeforest in this path : /MainFiles/Assets/Fontello then upload config.json then if will appear the icons from kleo pack and you can select additionally icon after you select your needed icons press download webfont the extract the pack in kleo-child/assets

That’s all

Note : Child theme needs to be installed and activated

Before start the process i recommend you to re-upload the original theme files over the existing theme files.

Hi,

Using rtMedia you have posibility to attach an image to your activity post update, but make sure that the option is set to be on from wp-admin -> rtmedia -> settings -> Allow user to comment on uploaded media -> CHECK that option

Theme strings and plugins strings can easily be changed by using Loco Translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

A small introduction on how translations work

Translatable strings can come from the theme or from the installed plugins. You need to translate the theme or the plugin depending on what section of the site your string is found.

For example if your string is on your BuddyPress profile then most probably you will need to translate BuddyPress plugin. If you are on the Forums section of your site then bbPress plugin should be the one that needs to be translated. Another example is the rtMedia plugin that adds the Media links to BuddyPress and if you want to translate it then this plugin will contain the string.

Follow these steps to get you started:

• Install Loco Translate plugin
• Go to the plugin dashboard: WP Admin – Tools – Manage translations
• Find the theme or plugin in the list.
• If the language isn’t already in the list then click Add new language, choose your language and if you are asked where you want to save the language files choose global language directory ( wp-content/languages/ ).
• Press SYNC button to synchronise your translation with the provided .pot file
• Search for the string you want to translate and add your translated string.
• Press Save when you finished your translation.

Note: You will have to set the language for your blog from WP-admin – Settings – General – Site Language – Choose your language

Hi,

Backup the file before you will change it after that backup again the file with the modification by renaming something like that

original-bp-xprofile-filters.php
modified-bp-xprofile-filters.php

Also the modified file should be saved on your computer when the plugin will be updated the file will be overwritten

Why the register page will be restricted to public access, how a user can register if the register page is protected for logged in users ? odd

If you want to have community private, de-activate that plugin “protected content” and use the feature of private website from the theme

Go to wp-admin -> appearance -> theme options -> private community -> Pages exceptions -> select login,register,activate

I’ve understand, for all of these issues, you will have to update the kleo theme to latest version 4.0.8

You will have to update theme to 4.0.8 your current version is 4.0.7 and after most important is to update Visual Composer, K-elements and Revolution Slider from wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins, press update for these plugins.

We have two methods for update

1. Automatic theme updates:

– Go to WP admin – Theme options – Theme Update
– Enter Themeforest username and API KEY
– Save the options
– Go to WP admin – Dashboard (link should be like: /wp-admin/update-core.php) and you should see the theme there if there is a new update available
– Click the checkbox next to it and click to Update themes

2. Manually update theme by FTP.

– Connect to your server.
– Go to wp-content/themes/ and copy “kleo” folder to your computer so you have a backup of your old files.
– Extract kleo.zip that you have downloaded from Themeforest. Make sure the resulting “kleo” folder has a style.css in it. Delete on your server all files inside wp-content/themes/kleo and then copy all files inside “kleo” folder to your server in wp-content/themes/kleo

Important note : After you update the theme to latest version 4.0.8 please update the bundled plugins especially Visual Composer, K-element, Revolutions slider, Woocommerce and buddypress.

That option is part of buddypress, you will have to enable buddypress plugin for that option to appear in the menu

I cannot view and i cannot figure out what do you mean by followers/following bubbles i see below avatar in cover image area the follow button, if you need some custom position of that button you will have to modify this file : /wp-content/themes/kleo/buddypress/members/single/member-header.php if you will need to rewrite this file copy the file member-header.php in /wp-content/themes/kleo-child/buddypress/members/single/

Hi,

You can style your website by using child theme and your custom styles can be loaded to wp-content/themes/kleo-child/style.css but you will have to know the selectors for the elements that you want to style! also you can change your some theme styles from wp-admin -> theme options..

According the change log :

– NEW FEATURE: Customize blog image sizes for each type of blog display. See the new options in Theme options -> Blog -> Image settings

Please go to wp-admin -> theme options -> general settings -> Image settings [ This is a new feature in 4.0.8 version ]. Here you will need to set image sizes for Standard Image Width and Standard Image Height or leave them like the default ones.
IMPORTANT : You will have to regenerate thumbnails with this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails

Do you have updated buddypress and visual composer and k-elements ?

Check for plugin updates from wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins.

Check aslo to disable child theme and try again
