Good news, we managed to fix this Buddypress issue and hopefully they will fix it in a future update.
Until our next theme update please replace the file content from this file with the content from the one attached wp-content/themes/sweetdate/members/single/settings/profile.php

Updating the theme does not affect the child theme and you are probably not uploading the right child theme. Delete the one you have there and upload the one from the main package
