Hello, what plugin are you using for the events? As its not included in the theme, please also share admin credentials so i can check it out.
Keep in mind that third party plugins that are not suggested by the theme could not be compatible or could create a conflict

Hello, did you complete the setup of the theme?
Make sure you have everything well set up at Sweetdate > Buddypress
Check that you selected sex field as “I am a” , matching fields “I am a” and “Looking for a”
Also check at Settings > Buddypress that you have all features selected
And to enable the tabs you need to Import them at Sweetdate > Buddypress “Import buddypress fields” and at BP Profile tabs, enable the ones you want.
You can always add/edit/remove each field or groups at Users > Profile fields
