You can remove the logo from Theme options – General if you want to.
That is the right location to add something extra next to the logo but I think that the problem is the inline margin 27px you added which stays the same on header resize.
I tested it with this image added right after the logo img tag and worked well:

Edit the modal popup form page-parts/general-register-modal.php to match your custom field needs. You need basic HTMl/PHP knowledge for that and customizing the templates it is not part of this support forum.

If your logo is .png and it is saved with transparency and no background then it should be transparent

Hi, Sorry for the late reply.

The forums widget comes from the bbPress plugin and the file responsible for that would be somewhere in the core of the plugin so changing that file isn’t advised: wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/widgets.php

1. Some strings come from plugins and not the theme so make sure you translate theme too. If you translate theme and plugins, there is no way to have strings in English in pages.
