    If one doesn’t appear in the main WordPress install location please follow this guide to enable debugging and php errors. Once you have done this please use your site front end as well as the menu section on the back end – this will enable any errors to be caught.

    Hi,

    It should be in your main WordPress install location which you can access via FTP or through your hosts file browser.

    If you do not have a PHP error log speak to your host as they may either hide it or deny access to it – they should however be able to send you the contents.

    Hi,

    MailChimp is not actually a function of the theme, though we do bundle/suggest the “MailChimp for WordPress”. Does the plugin never subscribe the user properly or is it intermittent like the content issue?

    Hi,

    If you mean does it default to the user’s location within a certain radius? I have no idea, that would be a question for either the developer or try it out on a staging site and see what results you get.

    In the screenshot at the end it does have a setting called “Auto-locator button”, this will grab the user’s current location (if they allow it). If it works like you would expect it should then reload / filter the map within X radius of given location.

    Hi,

    I have never used any of the Geo My WP plugins or add-ons, but by the looks of it you will need to use all three. The main plugin to provide core functionality, the KLEO geolocation add-on integrates with the members directory so it will always appear (according to documentation you linked to) and xprofile add-on so users can update their location from BuddyPress (and during registration).

    It should work with your other profile fields if using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-profile-search/, however, it may take custom code to get the range of miles working.

    If the theme Buddy Boss is not deleting through wp-admin you’ll have to go in via FTP (or your hosts file browser) and navigate to /wp-content/themes/buddy-boss (may have a a different name, but should be easy to identify).

    As you can see they all relate to Buddy Boss theme and not KLEO.

    Did you move your site from goprouder.com to therainbowright.com by chance? If you did, did you update all of the domains properly and do a search and replace in the database for those domains?

    With regards to speed, you do have some issues that need to be addressed, I used GTmetrix to generate a report for you. It tells you what needs to change and more importantly how to change it.     Hi @Allana,

    You can use either method, the snippet you linked to allows you to inject content into that specific area whereas editing within the KLEO Child theme will allow more for structural changes. Both methods work, and both methods are good – it just depends on your needs.

    Hi,

    So I have looked into your issue and found that the pages are indeed sporadically not loading some of the main content. When the content doesn’t load you get the following error in the console (F12).

    “GET https://therainbowright.com/jquery.js 404 (Not Found)”

    This is either a plugin issue (most likely) or a caching issue. Please carry out the below tests and let me know the results.

    – Either create a staging copy or put your site into maintenance mode
    – Make a backup of Database
    – Disable caching and clear your browser cache (Ctrl + F5) – if the issue disappears then you have a caching issue and will either need to adjust it’s settings or disable / switch the plugin. If the issue is still present leave caching disabled and move to the next step
    – Disable all plugins, clear your browser cache (Ctrl + F5) – if the issue disappears then you have a plugin issue, enable the plugins one by one to find the plugin causing the issue. When you have found the plugin causing the issue contact the developer for a fix.

    If the issue still continues after these tests, please follow the below steps

    – Check .htaccess for any issues, you can do this easily by making a local backup of the .htaccess file and then deleting it on your server. If the issue goes away you will have to address the cause with your host
    – Address the http / https issue, this can be easily fixed in .htaccess if you have the knowledge or with a plugin such as Really Simple SSL (others are available within the WordPress repository)
    – Delete multiple other themes that are installed as content from “Boss Theme” is still being used somehow and could be causing issues

    Sorry, I got the impression you have already created the code to generate the button. Creating a custom register button that will pass the username and ID back into the register form will take a fair amount of time and coding, therefore it is beyond the scope of the support we can offer.

    You’ll either need to code this yourself or reach out to a developer to do this for you, you can also try emailing dev@seventhqueen.com with your idea to see if we have a developer available for you.

    To get you started you’ll need to look at bp_member_header_actions, you can find more about that here http://hookr.io/actions/bp_member_header_actions/. Currently there is no official BuddyPress Codex about this function.

    – Copy the code again, being careful to get all of the code, paste it at the very end of your KLEO Child theme’s functions.php file save and see if it works for you.
    – If it does not, and it generates the 500 error again, please can you copy the lines from the last 10 minutes of the php error log into this ticket so I can review the contents.

    You can always wrap your code in an !is_user_logged_in() statement which will then only run if the user is logged out.

    An example being

    Sorry to hear you’re getting licence notifications with Visual Composer, rest assured though, this is standard Visual Composer behavior when it is bundled with a theme. You can install, activate and update the plugin through Appearance > Install Plugins without the need for any licence key as we have already licenced this for you on your behalf.

    To limit how much a user may enter into the description field please do the following

    – Enable KLEO Child theme
    – Copy the below file from the main KLEO theme
    /kleo/buddypress/groups/create.php
    – Move to the KLEO Child theme (if you haven’t made edits here before you’ll need to recreate / mirror the file structure)
    /kleo-child/buddypress/groups/create.php
    – Open the create.php file from the KLEO Child theme with your favorite editor or with your hosts built in file browser / editor
    – Scroll to line 80 and replace the below text
    <textarea name="group-desc" id="group-desc" aria-required="true"><?php bp_new_group_description(); ?></textarea>
    With the below
    <textarea name="group-desc" id="group-desc" maxlength="50" aria-required="true"><?php bp_new_group_description(); ?></textarea>
    – The value is currently set to 50, please adjust as needed
    – Save
    – Clear website cache, browser cache and purge any services like CloudFlare or MaxCDN

    When a user creates a group it should now be limited to 50 characters (or whichever value you set)

    You could try the below CSS in your KLEO Child theme’s style.css or in Theme Options > General Settings > Scroll to: Quick CSS

    .kleo-social-icons .icon-twitter:before {content: '\e967';}

    In this example I have used Twitter, please change Twitter to your desired social network. Please replace e967 with your desired icon, you can see them all, and their corresponding numbers here http://fontello.com/

    You can repeat this method for as many icons as you wanted to edit.

    Hi,

    I understand now, you can certainly look up a users profile field (in this case sex) by using “xprofile_get_field_data” but this is not related to the function of the theme so you would either need to contact the developer of the plugin or seek another developer to extend this third party plugin for you.

    Hi,

    Sorry if I misunderstood, I thought you wanted to remove a specific type of activity from being recorded completely.

    If the issue is that rtMedia is still recording duplicates of activity you will have to reach out to their support team to seek a fix for the issue as it is being generated by their plugin. You can contact them here: https://rtmedia.io/support/.

    Hi,

    I have looked at this for you and whilst I am not familiar with the plugin you’re using it appears to be working as expected. I can firstly select either “Don ponctuel” or “Don récurrent”, which then opens a dropdown, I select the amount and press “Valider le montant” at which point the button disables. This is either a function or issue of the plugin you’re using as KLEO does not alter that element in any way.

    The payment fragment on the right appears to refresh so I would presume at that point you may still continue to accept the payment.

    If I am missing something please record a short video to share with me so I can see what you mean.
