Thanks for contacting us about charset. It seems like a very odd issue indeed for the charset to switch randomly like that. Can you please try the following
– Make a FULL backup of your database locally and remotely
– Disable all caching and CDN
– Login to phpMyAdmin (or the tool your host provides) and update the database to utf8ALTER DATABASE MyDb CHARACTER SET utf8;
– Login to phpMyAdmin (or the tool your host provides) and update each individual table to utf8. Your host may let you check all tables en masse and change the charset, if not you will need to do this manually as below
ALTER TABLE wp_posts CHARACTER SET utf8;
Once you have done these steps please log out of your site, delete all data (except form data and passwords) from your browser, close your browser and then try to log back in and see if the issue is resolved.
Also, by chance are you hosting your site via Cloudways? I have only ever seen this issue once before (not related to theme) via this host.

We don’t have a function like that built into the theme but you can try out a plugin called Invite Anyone by Boone Gorges who is a Lead Developer for BuddyPress, you can find their plugin here https://wordpress.org/plugins/invite-anyone/.
The ability to invite members to the site by email. The plugin creates a tab on each member’s Profile page called “Send Invites”, which contains a form where users can invite outsiders to join the site. There is a field for a custom message. Also, inviters can optionally select any number of their groups, and when the invitee accepts the invitation he or she automatically receive invitations to join those groups.
You should also consider that sending these emails in any volume may mark your server IP as spam and if on a shared hosting account you may also breach the terms of your hosting. If this is a concern going forward you should look into offloading your email sending to a service like SendGrid or SendInBlue via their API.

Thanks for reaching out about customizing emails. This email looks to be generated by a plugin as it does not look like any of the default WordPress emails to me, to edit this email / email template you should reach out to the third party developer who makes the plugin you’re using.

Both menus in your screenshots are the profile menu, there is no create group menu item in the default profile menu. To create a custom BuddyPress menu for the top please follow the steps from my above reply.

Thanks for getting back to me, I’ve run the test again and with the same results. I am not sure what to suggest as the tool isn’t explicit in the elements they’re reporting as an issue. I can see the button issue but no others, I am not sure Google is still reporting it as an issue without more information from them.

Thanks for contacting us about custom ordering / filtering of posts. With regards to the comments part of the request you could always use our ‘KLEO Posts’ element (see below) – however we do not track views or shares so there is no infrastructure to do this out of the box.

Thanks for reaching out about translation and KLEO. When translating the KLEO theme you should translate the parent theme and not the child theme – this is likely to be the cause of the out of sync error.
Make sure you disable all of your caching and CDN whilst you’re translating so you can see the changes immediately

Just as an FYI KLEO now supports logos for desktop and mobile so you could have different logos depending on device.
I ran the test again, this time it rendered the logo but as you described it is still generating the error. I do not have the Apple iPhone SE listed as a device available to me in Google Chrome but I did go through the ones that were available and almost all of them passed without the issue.
I do see the following devices as an issue iPhone 4 & 5 and Nokia Lumia 520 – you may wish to try changing the size of the button and see if this causes Google to change the issue they’re seeing. If it does you should duplicate the first row, set the original to desktop and tablet only and the duplicated row to mobile only and resize the button to smaller than it is currently.

I didn’t get an answer on whether or not Baki had previously logged in so I installed a plugin called ‘User Switching’ (currently set to deactivated) so I could switch to Baki and count them as a member who has previously logged in.
Upon doing so Baki became available in the search results. The search is based off of members who have registered, activated and signed in – this stops spam registrants being an issue and allows you to return only genuine members.

I ran your site though their test and reviewed their feedback. They noted the following:
– Clickable elements too close together
– Content wider than screenClickable elements too close together
This seems to be generated off of two things, one is genuine the other is a rendering issue from a bot. They’re counting X percentage of the score because they did not render the image used for the logo, in it’s unrendered state they’re accounting for 100% width which places this right next to the menu toggle. If the logo really did stretch this far it would indeed be a usability issue but as you can see when using your site on real world devices this is not the case (see screenshot).
The second is the button below the text “webwinkelcommunity inclusief een privé-forum,
waar webwinkeliers en e-commerce professionals samen kunnen praten, kennis delen en elkaar helpen”. You can go into the page and add the ‘Gap’ element between the button and the text. If you give it a value of around 20px it should be okay. You may need to clear your cache for Google to see the changes.Content wider than screen
In the Google bot result I cannot see any content wider than the screen, I also tested this on several real world devices and couldn’t find any evidence of this.

Thanks for getting back to me, I logged into your site as an admin and as a standard user and when I visited the /groups/ url I was able to see the standard create a group link (see screenshots).
By default there is not a create group button in the title section. If you are referring to the menu area you can create your own BuddyPress menu instead of using the default menu that inherits the first level of the BuddyPress profile items by using the below format in a custom menu item
COPY CODEWith BuddyPress/bbPress installed you can add a link to profile using ##profile_link## in the URL input from Custom Links section bellow. Example: ##profile_link##/messages With Cleverness To-do List plugin you can add ##my_tasks## in the Title attribute to generate your tasks bubble.
I wrote an article on this a few weeks ago and it has a list of the basic strings you would need with BuddyPress profile menu items and their child items. You can see this post here https://archived.seventhqueen.com/kleo/article/building-dynamic-buddypress-menu.
The path to use to add a “Create group” menu item would be /groups/create/

I went to Theme Options > Header Options > Scroll to: ‘Search context’ and set it for ‘Members’ and ‘Groups’, you can add any other options you wish to here.
When I searched for ‘baki’ I didn’t get any results as you described, can you confirm for me if the user baki has previously signed into their account and also if there are any special characters within the name normally that do not appear in WordPress / BuddyPress.

First of all you do not have ‘BP Profile Search’ installed so I cannot test if this is working or not, please reinstall this plugin.
I am unable to access the main page (whilst logged in), I am constantly redirected back to the profile page. This is likely caused by custom code in your functions.php file. You’re also using php tags where they’re not needed – this may be causing errors.
Please try the following, and test after each step (clearing your local cache for each step, Ctrl+F5) with an admin account and a standard user account (make sure the accounts have a membership level assigned)
– Disable all caching and keep your caching disabled
– Remove all custom code from your KLEO Child functions.php file (make a backup prior to this step)
– Disable plugins one by onePlease let me know what you find and if/when the homepage is accessible
