Thanks for contacting us about BuddyPress widgets. To add this widget to your sidebar please go to WP Admin > Appearance > Widgets and drag the item titled ‘(BuddyPress) Groups’ from the left into your desired sidebar, most likely your sidebar is ‘Main Sidebar’.

Once added you can set the options for title, link to groups directory, number of groups and how to sort them (see screenshot)

Hi,

That’s very strange, I get mixed results, sometimes this works and sometimes it does not. I am going to refer this ticket to a developer to look into tags getting stripped from the editor in theme options. They’ll be in touch as soon as they can, Mon to Fri, East Europe Time.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us about your a tags getting stripped by the editor, it looks like you’re using the visual mode of the editor and not the text (code) mode of the editor. Using this will strip certain HTML, including a tags. If you paste your code in the text tab it should work (see screenshot).

Thanks for getting back to me, there appears to be nothing obvious on the front end about a conflict despite the toggles not working. Could you contact SiteGround for me and ask them for your PHP error logs for the last 24hrs, if this is a lot of content please save in a .txt file and upload directly to this ticket

Hi,

I have logged into your site and found that the issue only appears when the plugin ‘Massive Addons for Visual Composer’ is enabled. If you disable this plugin and clear your cache you will see the color picker works.

Therefore please contact the third party plugin’s support team about updating their product, this plugin was last updated on 17th November 2016, WordPress and WP Bakery (formerly Visual Composer) has moved on considerably since then.

Hi,

The issue was coming from having Divi Builder (plugin) activated with no Divi theme, I have disabled this plugin and the members’ directory works as expected (see screenshot). You may need to clear your cache (Ctrl+F5) to see changes.

Hi,

When I attempt to login using those details I get the following error

“Your account has not been approved yet.”

Please approve the account using whichever plugin you’re using to limit accounts. You should also disable this plugin to see if the members page issue persists with it deactivated.

Hi,

We ask for details each time because it takes time to find old credentials in other tickets and those details may no longer be active or correct. I have found credentials from your first ticket that work and have logged in with that account.

Attributes within WooCommerce do not naturally output their own classes with each item, though they should, this makes it difficult to style – especially so using nth-child as your order may change over time.

The best option I can think of immediately would be to use the plugin Variation Swatches for WooCommerce which is freely available in the WordPress plugin repository https://wordpress.org/plugins/variation-swatches-for-woocommerce/. As you’ll see it will allow you to assign colors (or text, labels, images) for each attribute for use on the front end.

Hi,

I understand you now, you will need to install the plugin called Social Articles which we offer an integration for. You can either install it by going to Appearance > Install Plugins > Scroll to: Social Articles or by going to Plugins > Add New > Search for: ‘Social Articles’.

This will allow your users to post from the front end and integrates with their BuddyPress profile.

Thanks for reaching out to us about how post types work in WordPress & bbPress, what you describe is the way the reply post type should work. Each reply is it’s own post and therefore when you try to display it individually it will show individually.

There would be two ways around this. One is to use the widget we provide to display topics and not replies and the second is to redirect the individual reply to the topic where it was created. The team over at bbPress support are uniquely qualified to assist you with this question, they even have a recent open topic on the same subject https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/single-reply-redirect-to-topic/.

As per the link in my above reply you will need to create the bp-custom.php file yourself in the /wp-content/plugins/ folder and add any code you wish to use there https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/bp-custom-php/.

I have attached a zipped example of the bp-custom.php file which you can use for changing the default profile landing page. You will need to extract the file from the .zip and manually upload it via FTP/SFTP or your hosts file browsers into the /wp-content/plugins/ folder.

Please use the below CSS in your SweetDate Child style.css or Quick CSS in Theme Options to set the avatar to rounded

To hide the filter please use the below CSS via either of the two methods stated above

Visual Composer comes bundled with the theme under a licence similar to OEM, this means you do not have or need a product key to use the full plugin Visual Composer with our theme. You can safely dismiss the one-time notice that Visual Composer issues upon first activation.
