Hi,
I think this can be achieved using Group Types which is built into BuddyPress, you can read more about that here https://codex.buddypress.org/developer/group-types/.
If you did not wish to do this manually with code this plugin may be of use to you, though I cannot offer any review of it as I have never used this plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-create-group-type/.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Sorry for the lack of documentation on that. We’re currently working on producing new documentation for all of our themes and I will add this to the list of topics to cover.
You can create any number of rows in any column format that you wish to use. Within each column click the add icon and select “Dashboard Item”, set the title if required and click ‘Save changes’.
You will now be able to click the add icon on the newly created dashboard item to add any Visual Composer element or add a ‘Text block’ to use your own custom shortcodes. Everything else is worked out automatically for you when the page loads.
Hope this helps,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
This is related to Paid Memberships Pro according to their support article this option means
For the Site Administrator:
If a member contacts you directly and requests a cancellation, you can manually cancel their account through the WordPress admin. To cancel a member follow these steps:
Locate the member within the “Users” table by doing a search for their name or email address. Once you locate the member, click their name or the edit link to manage their account.
On the edit user screen, you will see a section for “Membership Level” at the bottom of the page. Choose “– None –” from the dropdown list. Once you cancel an account their recurring payment will be cancelled automatically and they will no longer be billed for membership!
If you are providing a refund, this must be handled directly through your payment gateway.You can read more about this here https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/membership-levels/canceling-a-user-membership/.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
This happens when you use a secondary menu with only one menu item (styled), it’s a known issue as is being looked into. Please use the below CSS in the meantime to temporarily resolve your issue. You can add this to Appearance > Editor > KLEO Child > Style.css or to Theme Options > General Settings > Scroll to: Quick CSS
li#menu-item-3921 {margin-top: 17px;}
Adjust the px value if required.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Currently BuddyApp only supports Facebook login and not comments, you will need to use a third party plugin to achieve this. There are many free options in the WordPress Plugin Repository that should be able to do this easily enough for you, you can see some of them here https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/facebook+comments/.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with icons, please update this ticket with admin credentials so I can look into this further.
In the meantime please also disable all other plugins that did not come with BuddyApp, including caching and CDN services to see if the issue is being caused by a third party.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Please use the CSS below in your BuddyApp Child theme’s style.css which can be found by going to Appearance > Editor > BuddyApp Child > Style.css or via Quick CSS by going to Appearance > Theme Options > Scroll to: Quick CSS
COPY CODE#page-title {display: none;} .single-post #page-title {display: block !important;}
The first line states that #page-title should not be shown anywhere, the second line states to show as a block if it is a single-post (a blog post).
Hope this helps,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Thanks for reaching out about redirecting logged out users to the register page, I think the issue may be coming from not having bbPress installed, if that is the case changing the code to remove the bbPress element should work. Please add the below to the end of your KLEO Child theme’s functions.php file by going to Appearance > Editor > KLEO Child > functions.php
COPY CODE// Redirect logged out to register page if pages are BuddyPress function kleo_page_template_redirect() { // if not logged in and on a bp page except registration or activation if( ! is_user_logged_in() && ( ( ! bp_is_blog_page() && ! bp_is_activation_page() && ! bp_is_register_page() ) ) ) { wp_redirect( home_url( '/register/' ) ); exit(); } } add_action( 'template_redirect', 'kleo_page_template_redirect' );
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Thanks for reaching out today, I have looked into this for you and found that it wouldn’t be possible to do using the features built into KLEO as we’re using data-toggles.
Unfortunately I don’t have any suggestions for you with regards to a plugin that would do this for you. If you do find a suitable plugin please let me know.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Please try the below CSS to show the icon always regardless of device.
.kleo-quick-contact-wrapper {display: unset !important;}
To move the location of the arrow, please try the below CSS
COPY CODE#kleo-quick-contact .bottom-arrow { border-top: solid 1px #e5e5e5 !important; border-right: 0 !important; border-left: solid 1px #e5e5e5 !important; border-bottom: 0 !important; top: -7px; bottom: unset !important; }
Please change the color value #e5e5e5 to suit your needs if you are using different colors from the default.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
The subdomain will emulate your hosting environment exactly as it hosted on the same server. The benefit of using a localhost is in not using server resources that cost money like storage, bandwidth and CPU. To run your site locally you would have to make a copy via FTP of your subdomain, make a backup of your database in phpMyAdmin and change the URL in options table for the site once imported. You can read about that here https://managewp.com/how-to-create-a-local-copy-of-a-live-wordpress-site.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
There is a great plugin in the WordPress plugin repository called Peter’s Login Redirect that will be able to handle more complex redirects, like the one you wish to use, with ease. You can find the plugin here https://wordpress.org/plugins/peters-login-redirect/.
Once you have the plugin installed please go to Settings > Login/Logout Redirects > Scroll to: ‘Specific roles’. In the dropdown select ‘Subscriber’ (if you have changed the default role to something else please select your desired alternative), in the URL field enter your URL in the below format
https://www.mydomain.com/members/[variable]username[/variable]
, set the logout URL if desired, click ‘Add Role Rule, and then save. If the name of your members page is set to anything other than ‘members’ please adjust the URL you use to account for the name of your page.Now when a user with the role subscriber logs in they will be redirected to their own profile.
Hope this helps,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Glad you found the plugin causing the issue, I checked the plugin on the WordPress repository and it seems someone else reported the same issue about 2hrs ago – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflicting-with-visual-composer-2/. You should comment on that ticket so the developer knows this is an issue with their plugin that needs to be addressed.
In the meantime please try rolling back the version of WP Statistics to see if the issue is caused by their latest update. To do this please go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-statistics/advanced/ > Scroll to: Previous Versions > Dropdown: Select older version. You will need to either delete the plugin and reupload the older version via WP Admin or replace the plugin contents via FTP with the older version.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
It does appear to be a jQuery problem, but I believe that is being caused by a plugin. When you disable Contact Form 7 does the issue go away? If it does, try to enable it again but disable the addons for Contact Form 7 you have installed. It may well be caused by these plugins.
If the cause is a plugin you will need to contact the plugin developer to seek assistance so the conflict can be resolved or find an alternative plugin that has the functionality you require.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
A subdomain is a great solution if your host doesn’t offer staging sites. You should test within the subdomain to see if everything works okay for you.
A local site is where you develop your site on your computer before pushing changes to a live server, it works exactly like using staging or a subdomain but you will need software. You can use free software called XAMPP to install a local environment https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html and test any and all changes.
Thanks,
Kieran.

You can see the console errors by pressing F12 in your browser. If you’re using Google Chrome you will see them in the bottom right once the panel is open.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
That is notice / warning that is given by WordPress to alert you that the author (or any user) has not stated whether it is working with or compatible with your current version. The plugin was last updated 4 months ago so it looks okay, but you can test locally or on a staging site (if your host supports this) if you have concerns. I personally recommend all WordPress site owners have a local or staging version of their site.
Thanks,
Kieran.

Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
I have logged into your site and in WP Admin you’re getting quite a few console errors (F12 in Google Chrome), it is quite possible that this is why Visual Composer is not working. This is likely to mean one of three things, either there is an issue with the WordPress installation, a plugin conflict of the KLEO theme files were modified / failed to update.
Please try the following after creating a full backup of your site’s contents and database. You may wish to use staging, a local test environment or maintenance mode for these tests.
– Disable W3 Total Cache, any services like CloudFlare and MaxCDN for all of these steps
– Disable all plugins except for BuddyPress and K Elements. Clear your cache whilst in WP Admin (Ctrl+F5) and try to create a new post, does the issue continue?
– Go to WP Admin > Dashboard > Updates > Click ‘Reinstall now’. Clear your cache whilst in WP Admin (Ctrl+F5) and try to create a new post, does the issue continue?
– Download the main KLEO theme files from ThemeForest and manually (FTP) upload / overwrite the contents of /wp-content/themes/kleo/. Clear your cache whilst in WP Admin (Ctrl+F5) and try to create a new post, does the issue continue?
– Switch to the KLEO parent theme (main theme), clear you cache as above, does the issue continue?Thanks,
Kieran.
