    Hi,

    The class will open the side menu whether applied to an element in the body or applied to an item in the main menu.

    If you do not want to add it to a main menu custom menu item using the options I have described above and you do not like the solution that I have offered you in code then you will need to find a developer to assist with your custom development of KLEO.

    Hi,

    By default your permission should be 755 for directories and 644 for files see here for more information https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions. If you directories and files have this value set for permissions then everything will run fine, you can check the directory and file permissions via SFTP/FTP or your hosts file browser.

    If for any reason you need to change your directory or file permissions then you can see here for more information http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/ or contact your host directly and ask them to set them to the defaults manually for you.

    Hi,

    Several issues here in the video, please address the below

    – Set the toggle ‘Add toggle button on your main menu’ to off to turn off the automatic adding of the toggle to the end of the main menu
    – Assign the custom menu item to your main menu and not the side menu
    – You added class=open-sidebar to title attribute whereas you should enter open-sidebar in the class field
    – Your main menu is right aligned not left aligned as described, there is no menu to the left of the logo when you use a right aligned menu therefore it cannot be added there automatically

    If you wish to have the custom menu item left of the main logo whilst using the right aligned main menu you will need to make changes to the theme, if you wish to do this please do the following

    Copy the below file from your KLEO theme folder to the KLEO Child theme folder, create the /page-parts/ directory in the KLEO Child theme if it does not already exist

    /wp-content/themes/kleo/page-parts/general-header-section.php

    Once you have copied this across you can edit the general-header-section.php file in your KLEO Child theme. Add this directly below line 151 where you see the strong tag

    <a title="Open Sidemenu" class="open-sidebar" href="#" style="line-height: 88px;"><i class="icon-align-justify"></i></a>

    Save your changes and then add the below CSS to your KLEO Child theme’s style.css – this CSS cleans up the area a little for the new element.

    .logo i.icon-align-justify {padding-right: 5px;}
    .navbar-header .logo {display: -webkit-inline-box;}

    Clear your website cache, CDN and your local cache (Ctrl+F5) to see the changes.

    Hi,

    Just to confirm you sent me the correct video and this is the domain in question featured? If so that site is using Avada and not KLEO (see screenshot).

    You can set the custom menu item to use appear as an icon only by opening the newly created custom menu item, selecting an icon and then select ‘Just the icon’ from the drop down menu.

    Hi,

    You can use the side menu on the left or the right, to change where the side menu enters from please go to WP Admin > Theme Options > Side Menu > Option: ‘Side menu position’ and select ‘Right’ to set the side menu to appear from the right (see first screenshot).

    If you would like it to appear from the left then set the above option to left and set the toggle in same panel titled ‘Add toggle button on your main menu’ to off. Save your settings, create a custom menu item in your desired menu and add the open-sidebar class to the newly created menu item (see second and third screenshot).

    Hi,

    I logged back into your site and it appears you wasn’t using the KLEO login, logout and register menu items which are dynamic (based on the users logged in status). I replaced these menu items for you with our dynamic options and the login menu option is no longer shown to logged in users.

    Thanks for the suggestion. This would likely have to be a feature built into BuddyPress Profile Search https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/bp-profile-search as this is where the search functionality comes from. Please consider opening a support topic on the plugin page to see if the plugin developer is willing to consider this.

    In the mean time I will also add this topic to feature requests for community voting.

    Hi,

    Please try adding the below snippet to the bp-custom.php file to redirect users after they register

    add_action('bp_core_signup_user', 'bp_redirect', 100, 1);

    Change the URL from http://www.mysite.com/my/page to your desired page.

    If you do not already have a bp-custom.php file create you can download the below attached file, unzip and upload this directly into the /wp-content/plugins/ folder. Please note you will still need to update the code within the PHP file to suit your needs (domain / page).

    Hi,

    If you’re concerned about running tests in a live environment please try making a copy of your site locally by running XAMPP / WAMP on your computer or ask your host if they offer a staging feature so that you may create a copy of your site, run the tests to find the issue and apply to your main site.

    Hi, I have logged into your site and found that there are no widgets present for the course or lesson sidebars in WP Admin > Appearance > Widgets. Please re-add your desired widgets to the sidebars and the content will be displayed on the front-end. Thanks, Kieran

    Hi,

    I am able to login using the captcha via the wp-login.php and wp-admin pages but there appears to be a conflict on the front-end.

    Please try disabling your caching and all plugins that did not come bundled with KLEO, clear your front-end cache and try again to see if the issue persists.

    The testimonials element is widget and you will need to install a third party plugin to control what widgets display on what pages.

    Please try Widget Options by Phpbits Creative Studio https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-options/. Once installed you can go to WP Admin > Appearance > Widgets > Footer Level 2 and edit the widget titled ‘[Kleo] Testimonials’.

    Hi,

    This may be a plugin conflict then as this plugin works flawlessly for me on a KLEO site and for other customers. Try disabling all other plugins that did not come bundled with KLEO and test with the cache off to see if the issue persists.

    Have you tried WordPress ReCaptcha Integration by Jörn Lund https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-recaptcha-integration/. This plugin, when configured, works with BuddyPress, bbPress, WooCommerce, WordPress and KLEO.

    Hi,

    You can remove the icons with CSS, for example

    li#orders-personal-li {display: none;}

    You can get the names of each of these elements by right clicking the icon and selecting ‘Inspect’

    If you like you tell me which icons you wish to remove and I can send you the CSS required. If any of the icons are added by plugins not bundled with KLEO then I will need access to a standard user account so I can double check the ID’s to use.

    Hi,

    We’re not ignoring you or giving you the run around. I’m sorry that I did not read the last line of your initial topic properly in which you stated you were experiencing an issue on the front-end – please accept my apologies.

    I have contacted the core theme developer directly to see if we can push an update out for this sooner.

    In the meantime please use the last supported version of WooCommerce (3.2.6) which you can download here https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/archive/3.2.6.zip

    Once downloaded connect to your site via SFTP/FTP or via your hosts file browser and upload the contents of the downloaded file directly over the contents of the existing WooCommerce plugin folder in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/

    Or – remove WooCommerce from WP Admin > Plugins and upload the downloaded zip file through WP Admin > Plugins > Add New.

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us about styling the header, you can set all of the options you wish to achieve via Theme Options > Styling Options > Header Styling and settings the options for background color, link color and hover link color.

    Once these are set you can use the below CSS to override the colors user in the top menu. Add this CSS to your KLEO Child themes style.css via WP Admin > Appearance > Editor > KLEO Child > Style.css or directly via Theme Options > General Settings > Scroll to: ‘Quick CSS’

    .social-header.header-color {
        background-color: black;
    }
    .header-color .top-menu li > a, .header-color #top-social li a {
        color: #ffffff;
    }

    Adjust the color values to suit your design needs.

    Thanks for contacting us about the search within BuddyApp, I have done some testing and can confirm that when the enter key is pressed on the search form when searching for a user the returns the no results found page.

    Thanks for contacting us about WooCommerce templates. An update for SweetDate will be released in the coming weeks with updated template files for WooCommerce, as it stands this should not be an issue for your site on the front-end or back-end and the notice can be dismissed for now.

    Hi,

    To get around this issue you can either

    Install and use User Switching which will allow you to switch to X user and will inherit that users details https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-switching/

    Or you can logout to leave the review under X name as reviews appear to be allowed by any visitor and it will store the details you provide.

    Hi,

    It looks like you have not enabled the ‘Author’ element in WP Admin > Theme Options > Blog > Option: ‘Display Meta Fields’. If this option is disabled then the author meta will not be generated.

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us about user roles, this isn’t an issue generated by the theme but through the way the users were created.

    You can assign these users the role of participant by going to WP Admin > Tools > Forums > Tab: ‘Repair Forums’ and check the last checkbox titled ‘Remap existing users to default forum roles’ – then click the ‘Repair Items’ button. This process may take several minutes depending on your host and how many users you have. Make sure to make a full backup of your database before running this tool.
