    Hi,

    All demo content, regardless of when it was created, is available via WP Admin > Appearance > KLEO Demo Data. The demo you’re referring to with the slider, connecting people, is the last item in the demo list titled ‘Home OnePage – KLEO demo (v3)’. Please see attached screenshot.

    The image you have attached is not a demo, is a preview image for ThemeForest, if you have a link to the specific demo you wish to use I would be happy to assist.

    Hi Mona,

    Thanks for contacting us about demos, I will respond in the same numbered format below for ease.

    1. The BuddyPress profile is generated when BuddyPress is installed. To activate the BuddyPress profile go to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New and search for BuddyPress or you can install it via WP Admin > Appearance > Install Plugins.

    Once you have installed BuddyPress you will be able to see your users directory at domain.com/members/ – clicking on any user will take you to their profile.

    You can configure the appearance of all BuddyPress related pages, including the profile, by going to WP Admin > Theme Options > BuddyPress.

    Make sure you configure BuddyPress to your requirements by going to WP Admin > Settings > BuddyPress and enable or disable any features as per your needs.

    2. The image you shared is not of a demo, but the cover image for KLEO on ThemeForest. There is no file that we could send to you for this as it is not demo content.

    Hi,

    You should set the size for the background image to cover so that it appears on both devices the best that it can. When you have the Elementor page editor open, select your desired row and click on the ‘Style’ tab on the left of the page. Once the has loaded, below the image you’re using, you’ll see the background image settings. Select ‘Cover’ for ‘Size’ option and any other settings as needed, save, purge cache to see changes.

    I have attached srceenshots showing how to do this, as well as the default settings I would use for the primary image on your home page.

    Hi,

    When I access your site I see the header colours match the colours selected in your screenshot as well as in the customiser tool – are these not the correct colours?

    Further, I see the correct ico image with that is circled as described. Make sure to also set the 512*512 image in Customiser > Site Identity.

    Hi,

    Do you have minifaction enabled via a plugin or via the theme options for theme related files? If so, disable minification everywhere, purge all caches at server and WordPress level – then purge your browsers cache (Ctrl+F5) to see if the issue persists.

    “This is happening with Apache and LiteSpeed. As such I have left the site running on LiteSpeed BUT with all caching disabled for now.”

    Your website was working fine on Apache the other day when I looked. What has changed since?

    Hi Clara,

    That certainly does look odd, can you try the following for me, after each test clear your cache on the front-end (Ctrl+F5) and check to see if the issue is still present or not.

    – Disable all caching
    – Update BuddyApp to version 1.6
    – Switch from BuddyApp Child to BuddyApp
    – Update all plugins
    – Disable all plugins that did not come with BuddyApp

    Hi,

    To do this please go to WP Admin > Appearance > Menus and edit your primary menu. Once the editor has loaded ensure the KLEO accordion is enabled by clicking ‘Screen Options’ in the top right of the screen. This will open a new panel where you should check the options titled ‘KLEO’ and ‘Title Attribute’ – you don’t need to save for these to take effect.

    The KLEO accordion item will now show on the left of the main menu page. Check the option for ‘My Account’ and add this to the menu. If you wish for it to say something like ‘USERNAMEHERE’s Account’ the enter the below in field titled ‘Title Attribute’. For example, on this site, it would read ‘Kieran’s Account’ when I was logged in. You can achieve any format you wish with the username short tag being entered where needed.

    ##member_name##'s Account

    Hi,

    After investigation, it is clear that the post type created by AnsPress does not have featured images defined in the post type. If you want to add featured images to the post type, and therefore – have default placeholder images work, then you will need to add this to the post type code.

    This means you will need to reach out to AnsPress and ask them how to extend their question post type and enable featured images.

    This is not caused by the theme, this is a lack of options / definition in the plugin. When the plugin adds supports for featured images, in the question post type, then the placeholder will work – by default.

    Hi,

    I have deleted the maintenance flag for you. If this ever happens again, connect via SFTP to your host and navigate to the primary folder, you’ll see a file called maintenance, simply delete this and access will be restored. See attached.

    Hi,

    I can gain access via IE, but not in Chrome, Firefox or Opera. Your site appears to be stuck in maintenance mode. Please can you do one of the following:

    – Login via SFTP / FTP or your hosts file browser and delete the maintenance flag
    – Send SFTP / FTP login credentials so I can delete this flag for you

    Hi,

    I am still unable to access your site, have you previously had Laura or Radu access your site? If so I may need to pass this ticket to them temporarily until I can gain access.

    In your screenshots there are still plugins activated that did not come with KLEO. Please try disabling AnsPress and Login with AJAX to see if the issue persists.

    Hi,

    I don’t think that option is related to the issue you’re facing – but of course do feel free to test, it is important to test all settings thoroughly when setting up caching. For free plugins try WordPress Fastest Cache, Comet Cache, WP Super Cache and for a premium option you may wish to consider WP Rocket.

    If your server has Varnish or Redis cache enabled then you will need a plugin with the option to purge these at the same time.

    Hi,

    As per my earlier reply, this is an issue with a plugin that you’re using, not the theme. Featured images and Gravatars / avatars have nothing to do with each other. Disable all plugins that did not come with KLEO, switch to KLEO parent theme if you have made any changes and you will see the issue doesn’t exist.

    Either a plugin or custom code is creating this issue.

    Hi,

    It sounds like there is an issue with that plugin that will need to be addressed by that plugin author, you should reach out directly to them for a resolution to this issue.

    I am happy to take a quick look at the CSS issue you have shown in your screenshot but I am unable to access your site via the URL you have shared. Please check that the domain is correct and/or that the UK is not blocked from accessing your site.

    When you have restored access please share with me a full URL where the issue can be seen.

    Hi,

    You can do this by editing the slider via WP Admin > Slider Revolution > Edit Slider (pencil icon). When the editor has loaded double click the image the holds the text and a WordPress image upload modal will load, replace with your image, save, and clear your cache(s) to see the changes. I have attached images of the process below.

    You can edit the text of the slider in the same way, edit the slider with the pencil icon, and then edit each slide that has text. Select each text block and change the text to suit your needs.

    Hi,

    No, we bundle an OEM version of Revolution Slider within SweetDate. This means that we have purchased a licence to include this in the theme and no action is required on your part.

    When Revolution Slider is installed for this first time, or updated to a major release, a notification is displayed by the plugin about entering a licence key. It is not required for you to add a key and can be safely dismissed.

    Purchasing a licence for Revolution Slider outside of SweetDate will grant you access to use their plugin support but will not change anything within SweetDate.
