You should copy the archive.php file in the child theme folder keeping the same folder structure as the theme (root folder) and rename the file as date.php. After this, you can start modifying the layout as you want.

The users are visible in the members directory if they have activity on your site.

They need to login for the first time and have some activity on your site. This is the default BuddyPress behavior.

You need to go to revolution slider settings and auto-responsive option instead of custom. Please take a look at my screen shot.

The way page responds is influenced by the settings of your slider.

Also i see you use visual composer plugin with the theme and this was not tested to work with the short codes we developed.
